SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STAINLESS STEEL CLADDING OF CARBON STEEL PIECES
A system and method of cladding a carbon steel piece with stainless steel according to which the carbon steel piece is cleaned, heated, coated with the stainless steel, and strengthened. In an exemplary embodiment, coating the carbon steel piece with the stainless steel includes melting the stainless steel, atomizing the melted stainless steel, and spraying the atomized stainless steel so that at least a portion of the atomized stainless steel is deposited on the carbon steel piece to thereby coat the carbon steel piece with the stainless steel.
Automated compensating flow control assembly for a solid material separator
A compensating flow control assembly for a solid material separator such as a magnetic separator or air wash separator. The compensating flow control assembly automatically controls or adjusts the amount of contaminated shot blast media flowing from a hopper to a rotary magnetic drum, in the case where the solid material separator is a magnetic separator, or to an air chamber in the case where the solid material separator is an air wash separator, based upon the amount of contaminated shot blast media being fed to and held by the hopper.
SYSTEM FOR DRY CLEANING OF FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT UTILIZING SALT PARTICLES OF SODIUM CARBONATE, SODIUM BICARBONATE AND CALCIUM PHOSPHATE AND METHODS OF DRY CLEANING USING THE SAME
Cleaning systems for food-related equipment and surfaces, such as, but not limited to, a steel belt baking surface, has a translatable and pivotable arm to position a discharge manifold over a surface to be cleaned. The arm has supply and return lines for a salt composition that includes one or more of sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate and calcium phosphate and does not include a liquid component. The salt impinges the surface and kinetically and chemically cleans it. Discharged salt is collected by drawing the salt through the return line and to a filter unit. The translatable and pivotable arm can be composed of telescoping sections forming a telescoping conduit for the return line or can be composed of non-telescoping sections that form the return line. The cleaning system operates in an open loop mode.
ABRASIVE RECOVERY ASSEMBLY FOR A WATERJET CUTTING SYSTEM
An abrasive recovery system for a waterjet cutter, the abrasive recovery system comprising: a drain coupler including at least one drain nozzle, the drain nozzle having at least one wall defining a drain nozzle bore, the drain coupler defining a drain opening wherein the drain opening is in fluid communication with the drain nozzle bore; and a flexible hose coupled to the drain nozzle to establish fluid communication between the drain opening and the flexible hose.
Waterjet systems and methods
A waterjet system is provided, including a pump configured to pump fluid, an electric motor configured to drive the pump, a hopper configured to store abrasive, and a mixing chamber configured to mix abrasive from the hopper and the fluid from the pump to produce a slurry. A cutting bed is configured to receive a workpiece to be cut. A cutting head is configured to expel the slurry through the outlet nozzle as a high-velocity jet into the cutting bed.
Elastic abrasive manufacturing method, elastic abrasive manufacturing device, blasting method, and blasting device
A re-circulatory blasting device obtained is capable of performing stable treatment for a prolonged period of time even in cases in which an elastic abrasive employed has abrasive grains adhered to the surface of elastic cores. An elastic abrasive regeneration device provided to the blasting device regenerates elastic abrasive employed for re-circulation. The elastic abrasive regeneration device includes a mixer and a combining unit. Recovered abrasive fed in from an abrasive recovery section is mixed in the mixer with abrasive grains fed in from an abrasive grain feeder, and the abrasive grains are adhered to the surface of the cores of the recovered abrasive. In the combining unit, the abrasive grains are pressed against and combined to the surface of the cores by passing an aggregated state of the recovered abrasive mixed by the mixer along a constricted flow path having a flow path cross-sectional area that gradually narrows.
Blast treatment device and blast treatment method
According to one implementation, a blast treatment device includes at least one nozzle that injects media toward a workpiece, a first tank that supplies the media to the at least one nozzle, a movement structure that moves the at least one nozzle and the first tank, and a second tank that supplies the media to the first tank. The second tank is not moved by the movement structure.
