Clamping device
A clamping device includes two mounting members facing each other, a driver coupled to the two mounting members and at least one clamping module. Thee driver is configured to alternately drive the two mounting members toward and away from each other. The clamping module includes two clamping members mounted on the two mounting members. Each clamping member includes a guide rod, a clamping block, and an elastic member. One end of the guide rod movably passes through a corresponding mounting member. The clamping block is fixed at one end of the guide rod distal from the mounting member. The elastic member is sleeved on the guide rod and positioned between the mounting member and the clamping block.
JIG OF SPIRIT LEVEL CLAMPING AID TOOLS, SQUARES AND HAND CLAMPS
One or more clamping aid tools for mounting to various squares and straight edges, including carpenter squares, framing squares, speed squares or the like, and various straight edges and rulers for easily and accurately positioning various objects, either flat and/or round, magnetic or not. The clamping aid tools can secure these squares and straight edges to various objects while they are being fitted, secured and/or welded together.
CLAMP SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH FUNCTION FOR DETECTING BEHAVIOR OF OBJECT TO BE CLAMPED
Provided is a clamp system with enhanced functionality achieved by detecting the behavior of an object to be clamped, using a stroke-end position detector that has been used for switching stroke operations. A clamp device 1 has an output member 12 which executes a stroke movement causing a change in the distance by which a coil 15 is inserted into a hole 14 having a bottom. A converter 23 outputs a measurement value of the inductance of the coil 15. The inductance of the coil 15 when a work W has been clamped by the output member 12 is stored in a work clamp point memory 22e, and a clamp area indicating a variation range permitted with respect to a work clamp point is set in a clamp area memory. During processing of the work, a control unit 2 measures the inductance of the coil 15, determines whether the work clamp point is within the range of the clamp area, and, if the range is exceeded, issues a signal indicating an emergency stop.
Welding Clamp With Position Shifting Base
The present invention has a block with a cylindrical stud and a cylindrical hole. A hex-head screw has a screw head portion, a middle portion and a threaded portion. The threaded portion of the hex-head screw can be fitted to the base of a clamp through the cylindrical hole, so that the clamp can freely rotate, using the cylindrical stud as a pivoting point, and the clamp's location on a welding table can be shifted to provide a proper location on the surface of a workpiece. When the clamp handle is engaged, the cylindrical stud binds to a welding table opening, but when the clamp handle is disengaged, the clamp can rotate as the cylindrical stud rotates in the welding table opening.
HOLDING DEVICE FOR A TEST SHEET
The invention relates to a holding device for a test sheet (1), with a receiving arrangement (2) for engagement with the test sheet (1), a handle arrangement (3) connected rigidly to the receiving arrangement (2) for a user (4) for positioning the test sheet (1), and a pushbutton arrangement (5) for producing a switching signal on the basis of an actuation by the user (4).
PIVOTABLE VISE, CLAMPING ATTACHMENTS FOR THE VISE, AND RELATED METHODS
Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a pivotable clamp or vise. For example, the vise may clamp or secure a workpiece at a suitable position and/or orientation.
Universal grip system
Provided are universal grip systems and method of using universal grip systems to test coupons. According to various examples, a universal grip system includes two grips and two guide posts for supporting the two grips and allowing the two grips to move with respect to each other. Each grip may include one or two wedges. The wedges are used to engage the coupons during testing and provide anti-buckling support and/or anti-rotation support. The wedges are slidably coupled within corresponding grips, which allows the universal grip system to engage and disengage the coupons by moving one grip with respect to another. The grips may be constructed from thermally neutral materials, such as invar 36. The grips may thermally isolated from the guide posts by, for example, a set of spacers disposed between the grips and linear bearing slidably coupled to the guide posts.
SOCKET FUSION JIG
A socket fusion jig includes a pipe saddle and coupling saddle spaced apart. Rotation of a handle causes the pipe saddle and coupling saddle to move laterally relative to one another so that the pipe held in the pipe saddle may be fused to the coupling held in the coupling saddle.
CLAMPING DEVICE FOR A SAMPLE PREPARATION
The clamping device according to the invention for clamping at least two processing devices for a sample preparation is made up essentially of at least three clamping blocks arranged in the axial direction, at least two of which are designed as movable clamping blocks, and a displacement mechanism for displacing the movable clamping blocks between an open position for inserting the processing devices, and a clamping position in which the at least two processing devices are clamped one on top of the other in the axial direction between two clamping blocks in each case. The displacement mechanism is designed for displacing the at least two movable clamping blocks in opposite directions.
Apparatus for aligning sections of pipe
An apparatus for aligning sections of pipe includes a first clamp member and a second clamp member coupled with the first clamp member. The first and second clamp members each include a first clamp jaw and a second clamp jaw longitudinally spaced from the first clamp jaw. Each one of a first plurality of turnbuckle assemblies is coupled with each one of the first and second clamp jaws of the first clamp member, and each one of a second plurality of turnbuckle assemblies is coupled with each one of the first and second clamp jaws of the second clamp member. An assembly made from a kit of components is also disclosed. The kit includes an apparatus for aligning sections of pipe, and a plurality of shoe inserts. The assembly includes the apparatus and at least two of the shoe inserts coupled with the apparatus.
