A punch, such as a socket punch, with an angle on a portion of the punch and method of manufacturing a punch with an angle on a portion of the punch using wire EDM. A punch for a cold forming process includes a base portion adapted to be a structural backbone for the punch and a work portion extending from the base portion that performs a punching operation. In addition, grooves and a hex portion are formed in the working portion with an electric discharge machining (EDM) machine. Further, a cone point is machined on an end of the hex portion and a land area with an inwardly tapered angle formed between the hex portion and the cone point. The punch can be manufactured more quickly and from a CAD model, therefore removing the need for over-specialized equipment and improving manufacturing times.

A screw bit body which allows for efficient torque force application onto a socket fastener. The screw bit body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. The laterally-bracing sidewalls are radially distributed about a rotation axis of the screw bit body with each further including a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bracing surface, and an engagement cavity. The engagement cavity creates an additional gripping point to prevent slippage in between the screw bit body and the socket fastener. The engagement cavity traverses normal and into the bracing surface. Additionally, the engagement cavity traverses into the screw bit body from the first base to the second base. The engagement cavity is specifically positioned offset from the first lateral edge by a first distance.

The invention relates to an accessory for securing points darrt on fencing pes, comprising a screw for securing the point darrt which is located on the tip of a fencing pe, in order to close the circuit of the electric touch-detection device with which said swords are equipped. The invention includes a screw-coupling tool, characterised in that the screw includes a central axially-extending through-hole having a hexagonal or any other prism-shaped configuration, while the actuation end of the tool includes a first cylindrical or frustoconical segment so that it can be easily fitted to the hole in the screw. In addition, a collar is provided half-way along the length or height of the screw, which serves as an end-stop element.

A modular motorcycle tool kit comprising multiple tool drivers and a plurality of attachable tool components said kit being configured to address most motorcycle repair or service needs. Three drivers include apertures and special step-key shank slots to engage and receive a plurality of tool insert bits and fastener tool heads. The fastener tool heads are coupled to unique step-key shanks which are stronger, more robust, and less expensive to manufacture than comparative fastener tool head shanks. The drivers can be used separately or in conjunction with one another depending on the need of the user. The modular motorcycle tool kit is specifically designed and configured to be an invaluable modular motorcycle tool and at the same time occupy very little space on the motorcycle.

A camera mounting system includes a mount and a mounting bracket removably coupled to the mount. The mount includes a plate and a screw extending rearward of the plate. The mounting bracket includes a tab and a base pivotably coupled to the tab. A camera may be mounted to the mounting bracket. In addition, a tool having a bit and configured to to interfit with a head of the screw to secure may be used to secure the mount to a tree-like object. The tool is further configured to interfit with an orifice formed in the mounting bracket and allow a user to lift the mounting bracket and removably couple the mounting bracket to the mount.

A tool including a wrench attached to an elongate shaft to open and close a subterranean stop and waste valve. The wrench may be removably coupled to the shaft by way of an attach mechanism. Sometimes, the attach mechanism can be configured to couple with the distal end of a commercially available valve actuation tool. The instant tool can couple with the actuating handle of the stop and waste valve at a plurality of orientations of the tool's handle with respect to the valve's handle. A preferred wrench includes anti-stiction structure to facilitate insertion and retraction of the wrench with respect to an access port for the valve.

Improved connection techniques are provided. In some embodiments, specialized connectors are provided with both physical fastening and signal-conducting attributes. In some such embodiments, signals related to conditions of a connector are passed through the connector. In other embodiments, multiple-section connectors are included, which may be self-actuating and create remotely-detectable conditions and signals.

A screw driver system includes a screw driver and a guide clamp. The screw driver includes a driving bit. The driving bit includes a body having a first end and a second end and an outer surface comprising a cylindrical portion between the first and second ends. The screw driving bit includes a first circumferential groove and a second circumferential groove on the outer surface of the cylindrical portion each having a bottom surface. The bottom surface of the first circumferential groove defines a first outer diameter that is larger than a second outer diameter defined by the second circumferential groove. The guide clamp includes a jaw for holding the screw driving bit. When engaged with the first circumferential groove, the guide clamp prevents rotation of the screw driving bit. When engaged with the second circumferential groove, the guide clamp does not prevent rotation of the screw driving bit.
