RETAINING DEVICE FOR USE WITH A NAIL GUN
A retaining device adapted for use with an electric nail gun includes: a swing arm unit adapted to swing relative to a flywheel of the nail gun; an impact unit adapted to swing with the swing arm unit, and being movable between a pre-striking position proximate to the flywheel, and a striking position distal from the flywheel; a retrieving unit configured to bias the impact unit to move to the pre-striking position; and first and second positioning members connected respectively to the swing arm unit and the impact unit, and telescopically engaged with and in frictional contact with each other when the impact unit is at the pre-striking position, so as to position the impact unit on the swing arm unit.
Dry-fire lockout and last fastener retention mechanism for powered fastener driver
A powered fastener driver includes a housing, a nosepiece having a fastener driver channel from which fasteners are discharged into a workpiece, a driver blade, a workpiece contact element, a canister magazine, and a pusher mechanism coupled to the nosepiece. The powered fastener driver also includes a dry-fire lockout mechanism having a lockout lever movable between a bypass position and a blocking position and a last fastener holding member configured to engage a first side of a fastener within the fastener driver channel. The lockout lever is configured to engage an opposite, second side of the fastener within the fastener driver channel. The last fastener holding member biases the fastener within the fastener driver channel toward an inner surface of the fastener driver channel to inhibit the fastener from falling out of the fastener driver channel.
APPARATUS FOR INSTALLING FASTENERS AND EXPLOSIVE LOADS FOR USE THEREWITH
A bracket for attachment to an overhead substrate to carry a suspending wire or rod is formed from metal plate or strap stock having a bend connecting a first generally rectangular section of the stock with a second generally rectangular section of the stock. The first generally rectangular section of stock has a dimple formed on one side of the stock with a corresponding bulge protruding from the other side. The bulge protrudes alongside the second generally rectangular section of stock. The bulge has a base and an apex, a generally conical outside surface adjacent to the first generally rectangular section of stock and a through aperture at the apex. The bracket is applied with a tool that can be provided with a washer system to accommodate different fastener lengths and a safety to deactivate the triggering mechanism.
NAILING DEPTH ADJUSTABLE AIR NAIL GUN
A nailing depth adjustable air nail gun, including a gun head, a gun body, a clip device, a safety rack installed on the gun head, an adjusting mechanism and a trigger gear, the adjusting mechanism comprises a locating pin and an adjusting screw, the adjusting screw is located at the upper end of locating pin, the bottom of adjusting screw contacts the upper end of locating pin, the adjusting screw comprises a shaft and a head, a regulating wheel, a pressure spring, the pressure spring is fitted over the shaft, the gun head is provided with a limiting base corresponding to the regulating wheel, the limiting base has a strip bulge extending towards the regulating wheel, multiple strip slots matching the strip bulge are uniformly distributed on the outer wall of the regulating wheel, the strip bulge is stuck in the strip slot.
FASTENER-DRIVING TOOL WITH CHAMBER MEMBER RETAINING ASSEMBLY
A combustion-powered fastener-driving tool that include a chamber member retainer assembly configured to enable the controller of the tool to prevent the chamber member of the tool from moving to an open unsealed position and to ensure the tool's combustion chamber remains sealed until the piston fully returns to its pre-firing position.
FASTENING TOOL HAVING A DRY FIRE LOCKOUT ASSEMBLY
A fastening tool having a dry fire lockout assembly connected to and operatively engaged with a magazine assembly that prevents the tool from driving a fastener with there is less than a predetermined number of fasteners in the magazine assembly and an indicator that notifies the user that there is less than a predetermined number of fasteners in the magazine assembly.
DRY-FIRE LOCKOUT AND LAST FASTENER RETENTION MECHANISM FOR POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A powered fastener driver includes a housing, a nosepiece having a fastener driver channel from which fasteners are discharged into a workpiece, a driver blade, a workpiece contact element, and a pusher mechanism. The powered fastener driver also includes a dry-fire lockout mechanism having a lockout lever movable between a bypass position and a blocking position and a last fastener holding member configured to engage a fastener within the fastener driver channel. The lockout lever is configured to engage the fastener within the fastener driver channel. The last fastener holding member biases the fastener within the fastener driver channel toward an inner surface of the fastener driver channel to inhibit the fastener from falling out of the fastener driver channel.
Driving machine
There is provided a driving machine capable of reducing a load applied to a guide member in a direction of a center axis. The driving machine drives a fastener into a workpiece. The driving machine includes a movable piston, a driver blade operating together with the piston and applying driving force to the fastener, a cylinder guiding operation of the piston, a holder provided in a housing and supporting the cylinder, and a vibration damping rubber interposed between the holder and the housing and receiving a load applied to the holder in an operational direction of the piston.
Driver rebound plate for a fastening tool
A driver rebound plate to prevent a fastener driver from rebounding into the drive path and striking additional fasteners at the end of a drive cycle. The driver rebound plate is formed from an elongated body having a mounting portion at a first end and a bearing portion at a second end. A retaining portion is disposed between the mounting portion and the bearing portion and is adjacent to the mounting portion. An impact portion designed to receive the impact of a driver during a return stroke is disposed between the retaining portion and the bearing portion. The impact portion is bent at an oblique angle with respect to the drive axis.
Fastener driving apparatus
A fastener driving apparatus comprises at least one gas spring or spring, a drive mechanism, an anvil assembly, and an anvil. The drive mechanism selectively engages one of the at least one gas spring, spring or anvil assembly. A locking mechanism (such as a one-way clutch) is used to provide a middle stopping point during which the gas spring(s) is/are being energized. The motor of the apparatus may thereafter be turned off. When the user is ready to fire a nail, the motor is re-energized and the drive mechanism continues, releasing the gas spring(s) to drive the nail. The drive mechanism may include its own one-way clutch for overrunning and causing the drive mechanism to be released from the locking mechanism. To complete, the cycle the crank continues rotation and re-engages the anvil assembly and energizes the gas spring(s).
