A method for manufacturing flexible paper straws and flexible paper straws are revealed. The method includes the steps of preparing a paper tube which is a spiral tube by glue and paper, inserting a support shaft into the paper tube axially, placing the paper tube with the support shaft between a first roller and a second roller before curing of the glue while the first and second rollers are in parallel and having a plurality of circular grooves on a cylindrical surface thereof, rolling the paper tube by the first and second rollers to form a corrugated portion on a part of the paper tube, squeezing the corrugated portion to compress the corrugated portion for a period of time for curing the glue and holding shape of the corrugated portion, and removing the support shaft to get a flexible paper straw which is bendable at the corrugated portion.

Articles of disposable cutlery are provided herein that include a handle portion, utility portion, and skirt around the perimeter of the handle portion and at least part of the utility portion. The handle portion, skirt, and at least part of the utility portion have a common, uniform thickness without cutouts or ribs, which advantageously enables stacking or nesting of the cutlery, significantly reducing storage space, shipping space, and the carbon footprint associated with storage and shipping.

MEASURING SCOOP
20220400882 · 2022-12-22 · ·

A measuring scoop and its method for fabrication. In one embodiment, a planar element is fabricated of a foldable material. The planar element is generally circular, and is scored with three generally linear scores each having a first end substantially at the center of the element and a second end proximate an outer edge of the element. Folding the element about the scores produces a generally conically shaped object that can be used as a measuring scoop for food and other things. A handle protrudes into the interior of the scoop. In some embodiments, the two portions comprising the handle are held together securely by a tab in one portion that locks into a slit in the other portion.

A deformable sheet defines a handle and an operational element in which one or more scores, which may be straight, curved, or a combination of straight and curved, are cooperatively provided to enable deformation of the handle portion to convert the operational element into a strong, sturdy, and functional implement sufficient to meet the required application. When curved scores are present, they may be concave (outwardly curving) or convex (inwardly curving) with respect to the longitudinal midline of the operational element.

FLEXIBLE ELEMENT FOR FORMING A PIECE OF DISPOSABLE CUTLERY
20220240699 · 2022-08-04 ·

Flexible element for forming a piece of disposable cutlery, especially a spoon, including an elongated body made from thin, bendable material including a handle and acting portions, each with a free end. A first bending line on the body extends longitudinally from the handle portion free end towards the acting portion, so the body may be bent longitudinally and in the bent position, the working position, the handle portion is V-shaped or U-shaped. The body has an elongated opening including at one side a lip, pointing from the handle portion free end towards the acting portion. A fifth bending line extends transverse to the first bending line, visually dividing the body into the handling and acting portions. The fifth bending line is positioned so when the body is folded along such, a part of the acting portion free end can be inserted into the opening, behind the lip.
