SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING LIQUID EXTRACTS
The present disclosure is generally related to systems and methods for producing liquid extracts from a solid raw material, as well as related equipment. Certain aspects are related to the production of multiple liquid extract products using a single system by adjusting one or more displaceable fluidic pathway segments within the system to switch between first and second (or more) extraction configurations. In certain embodiments, a first liquid extract can be produced when the displaceable fluidic pathway segment is in a first configuration, and a second liquid extract (different from the first liquid extract) can be produced when the displaceable fluidic pathway segment in in a second configuration (different from the first configuration).
Virtual sight glass for a portable beverage dispensing container
A portable beverage dispensing container comprises a housing and an internal beverage holding tank positioned in and contained within the housing. The internal beverage holding tank is configured to receive and store a beverage, and the internal beverage holding tank is constructed from a translucent material. The housing includes an opening through a rear surface thereof, such that light from a light source (which is installed at a brewing station) can be directed through the opening and through the internal beverage holding tank, such a light pattern is projected on a sight glass window on a front surface of the housing that provides a visual indication of provide a visual indication of the level of the beverage in the shuttle, along with a visual indication of the status of the brewed beverage.
COFFEE SYSTEM AND METHOD
An apparatus for preparing coffee grounds for a coffee brewing process includes a control system that receives a coffee order. The coffee order includes information indicative of a composition of coffee beans ordered, and a quantity of the coffee beans to be included in the composition. A metering device receives the coffee beans from a hopper assembly, and is controlled by the control system to: measure the quantity of the coffee beans to be included in the composition, and output the quantity of the coffee beans measured from an outlet aperture. An inlet aperture of a grinder receives the measured quantity of the coffee beans output through the outlet aperture of the metering device and grinds the coffee beans to produce ground coffee. A nozzle is arranged to introduce moisture to the ground coffee output by the grinder, producing ground and moistened coffee that is dispensed for brewing coffee in fulfillment of the coffee order.
MODULAR BREW SYSTEMS
A modular brewing system is described for providing hot water and managing power to multiple brew tower modules using a single centralized boiler and power management module so as to limit the number of high-power circuits required in a coffeehouse or store. The boiler and power management module manages power of components of the centralized boiler assembly and any brew tower modules connected thereto, including the boiler heaters, the grinder motors, and the brew chamber heaters.
STEAM PRODUCTION SYSTEM FOR PROFESSIONAL COFFEE MACHINES
A steam production system for professional coffee machines includes a nozzle; a boiler for producing steam in flow communication with a water source and the nozzle. The boiler is equipped with an independent heating device for the initial production of steam. The system further includes a heating assembly to instantaneously produce steam in flow communication with the boiler and/or the nozzle. The heating assembly includes an electric heating element; a heat exchanger associated with the electric heating element; and a water passage circuit associated with the heat exchanger which has an inlet joined to a water supply source or to a duct arriving from the latter and an outlet of the produced steam connected to the boiler and/or to the nozzle. The system also includes a programmable electronic unit operatively connected to the boiler and to the heating assembly to ensure the supply of steam to the nozzle.
UNMANNED CAFE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
There is provided an unmanned cafe management system including a making device, an error control device to control the making device by setting the making device into disabled state and generate an error occurrence signal when receiving an error signal of the making device, an inspection management device to receive input of a management completion signal, measure an elapsed time and generate a management request signal when the elapsed time reaches a time interval according to a management request ratio to a management cycle, and a manager terminal device to receive and output the error occurrence signal or the management request signal.
BEVERAGE BREWING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A mechanism for a brewing machine includes a fluid reservoir, a first receptacle downstream from the fluid reservoir, a second receptacle downstream from the fluid reservoir, a first channel and a second channel. The first channel is configured and adapted to provide a fluid from the fluid reservoir to the first receptacle. The second channel is configured and adapted to provide a fluid from the fluid reservoir to the second receptacle.
Automatic device for brewing beverages
An automatic device for brewing beverages at least comprises an ice cube meter, at least one beverage supply device, at least one robotic arm, a feed conveyor belt, a plurality of feeders, and a film sealing machine, mainly uses the robotic arm to take up ice cubes and a beverage from the ice cube meter and the beverage supply device with a hand-shake cup, then shake and mix, and pour the shaken and mixed beverage and ice cubes into a beverage cup, the beverage cup is conveyed to pass through the feeders by the feed conveyor belt, ingredient is squeezed into the beverage cup by the feeder, and finally the beverage cup containing the beverage, ice cubes and ingredient is conveyed by the feed conveyor belt to the film sealing machine for sealing.
PIPING COMPONENT OF A BREWING SYSTEM
A fluid coupling system arranged laterally between a first tank and a second tank of a brewing system is provided. The fluid system comprises: a plurality of pipes configured to couple with an inlet and outlet of the first tank and an inlet and the outlet of the second tank; an impeller pump coupling with a pipe; and an actuator coupled with a pipe, configured to facilitate fluid flow through the fluid coupling system. A method of brewing a beverage using a brewing system is also provided, comprising: mashing ingredients within a first tank to form a mash; transferring the mash into a second tank; lautering the mash to form a clarified wort; transferring the clarified wort to the first tank for boiling; transferring the clarified wort to the second tank for chilling; emptying the first tank and the second tank; and cleaning the first tank and the second tank.
AUTONOMOUS RAPID BATCH BEVERAGE MAKER, SYSTEM AND METHOD
An autonomous beverage maker, system and method for fresh brewed coffee, tea, and other beverages, responsive to sensed demand or inputted command, makes an initial beverage extract concentrate in a turbulent manner under unpressurized conditions, and then a dilute/secondary extract under pressurized conditions and mixes the initial extract and dilute to complete a beverage batch, successive secondary extracts/dilutes being made as required or desired to meet flavor, strength, etc., successive batches being rapidly made as required to meet demand, maintain level, etc. A parameter or parameters within a receiving or dispensing container is/are autonomously monitored to determine level, demand for additional beverage, beverage age, and or/other information, and responsive to the monitored information or an inputted command, the beverage maker autonomously adapts the beverage making operation or executes predetermined steps, such as, but are not limited to, making more or fewer beverage batches, or signals to dispose of existing beverage.
