SNOWPLOW LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM

An auxiliary lighting system for an auxiliary device and methods are provided. The auxiliary lighting system senses the operational state of various ones of the vehicle lights of the vehicle and operably controls the operational state of various auxiliary lights based on the operational state of one or more of the vehicle lights. The method includes controlling the auxiliary lighting system based on the operational state of the vehicle lights.

NOTIFICATION CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING NOTIFICATION

An object of the present invention to provide a notification control apparatus and a method for controlling notification that achieve display to a notification target with improved accuracy. A notification control apparatus in the present invention includes the following: a notification message acquiring unit that acquires a notification message for a notification target located around a subject vehicle; a gesture operation recognizing unit that recognizes a gesture of the driver of the subject vehicle; a road projection location determining unit that determines, on the basis of the gesture recognized by the gesture operation recognizing unit, a location for projecting the notification message acquired by the notification message acquiring unit onto a road; and a road projection controller that controls projection of the notification message onto the location determined by the road projection location determining unit.

Directional lighting system

A directional lighting system may include a plurality of lights positioned on a singular planar surface. A plurality of stationary reflectors may also be provided, each reflector positioned adjacent to each of the plurality of lights. The stationary reflectors may be positioned on the single planar surface in an orientation so as to provide directional illumination of one of the plurality of lights in a different direction relative to another of the plurality of lights. The single planar surface may define a surface of a printed circuit board (PCB) to which the plurality of lights are mounted. The directional lighting system may further include a controller in communication with the plurality of lights. The controller may include one or more preset lighting functions, whereby a user may select one of the one or more preset buttons to illuminate specific lights of the plurality of lights.

VEHICLE SYSTEM

A vehicle system includes: a camera that can capture an image of a vehicle occupant; and a state change unit that can change an image capturing state for the vehicle occupant by the camera to each of an image capturing permitted state where an image of the vehicle occupant is permitted to be captured and an image capturing limited state where capturing the image of the vehicle occupant is limited. The state change unit changes the image capturing state for each vehicle occupant.

Light emitting diode circuit with accurate current monitoring of two or more different LED strings

This disclosure is directed to a light emitting diode (LED) circuit for driving two or more different LED strings, which may be controlled in a complimentary fashion. The LED circuit includes current monitoring capabilities that are configured to monitor current through the two or more different LED strings. The circuit is designed in a way that can reduce or eliminate excessive sensing pins that are otherwise needed for the current monitoring. According to this disclosure, for example, very accurate current monitoring can be achieved by using two or more sensing resistors while only using two sensing pins for the current monitoring through two or more different LED strings.

A WARNING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE

A warning device for a vehicle comprising a number plate support portion for supporting a number plate. The warning device further comprises a warning indicator. The number plate support portion is movably attached to the warning indicator. The number plate support portion is moveable from a first position covering the warning indicator to a second position revealing the warning indicator. Further, the warning device comprises a number plate support portion pivotably attached to the warning Indicator such that the number plate support portion and the warning device fold together and fold apart when the number plate support portion is moved between the first position and the second position.

VEHICULAR DOOR SAFETY WARNING SYSTEM

An after-market, low cost and easily installed vehicular door safety warning light system using electromechanical actuation for automatically providing a visual warning to passing traffic that a car door is opening and passengers are about to exit the vehicle. The safety warning light system includes a magnetically actuated switch to effectuate the light-emitting elements, wherein the light-emitting elements are automatically switched on only when the car door is opened and are highly visible throughout the entire opening arc of the door and do not shut off until the vehicle door is closed. The light-emitting elements are uniquely housed as a single device in a single housing or a plurality of jointed sections adapted to fit and adhere to the variable contours and inner surface areas of and along an open car door regardless of the vehicle's make or model.

LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Provided is a beam-steering mechanism, comprising a lens and a light source positioned in a focal plane of the lens. One of the light source and the lens moves relative to the other of the light source and the lens. The light source outputs a light beam at the lens which forms an illumination spot on a surface from the light beam. The illumination spot moves in a direction in response to a movement of one of the light source and the lens.
