ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING PERSONALIZED BIOMETRIC INFORMATION BASED ON BIOMETRIC SIGNAL USING SAME
An electronic device for providing biometric information is provided. The electronic device includes a sensor module, a memory, and a processor electrically connected to the sensor module and the memory. The processor obtains a biometric signal from the sensor module at a predetermined time interval, determines whether a user is in a first state on the basis of the obtained biometric signal, in case the user is in a first state, obtains a representative value for a respective of the at least one biometric signal, defines the obtained representative value for the respective of the at least one biometric signal as a candidate reference value for a corresponding biometric signal, determines a candidate reference value satisfying a predetermined condition as a first reference value for the corresponding biometric signal, and updates a second reference value previously configured for the corresponding biometric signal on the basis of the first reference value.
Method and apparatus for sending a message to a subject
According to an aspect, there is provided a method of sending a message to a subject, the method comprising obtaining (30; 502) measurements of one or more physiological characteristics of a subject over time; determining (32; 504) a psychological state of the subject for a plurality of time periods from the measurements; and in the event that it is determined that the subject is in a psychological state of interest in a first time period, sending (34; 514) a message to the subject in a time period subsequent to the first time period in which it is determined that the subject is not in the psychological state of interest.
TECHNIQUE FOR PROVIDING A USER-ADAPTED SERVICE TO A USER
A technique for providing a user-adapted service to a user of a client device is disclosed. A method implementation of the technique is performed by the client device and comprises obtaining (902), via a manual input by the user, a digital representation of personality data of the user, and processing (S904) the digital representation of the personality data to provide a user-adapted service to the user. The client device may be a vehicle and providing the user-adapted service to the user may comprise adapting a driving configuration of the vehicle to a personality of the user.
Psychological stress estimation method and apparatus
A psychological stress estimation method includes obtaining a physiological signal of a user corresponding to a current moment, determining a first stress indicator of the user based on the current moment and a cyclic stress model of the user, determining a second stress indicator of the user based on the physiological signal of the user corresponding to the current moment and an instantaneous stress model of the user, where the physiological signal is an input of the instantaneous stress model, and determining the current stress indicator of the user based on the first stress indicator and the second stress indicator.
Physiological parameter sensing device
Systems and Methods for determining a physiological parameter are disclosed. The physiological sensing device can measure a physiological parameter, determine a mood based on the physiological parameter, and render one or more songs associated with the mood.
PSYCHOLOGY COUNSELING DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF
A psychology counseling device is provided. The device includes a user interface configured to receive an input from a user and provide information; a microphone configured to collect a voice of the user; a speaker configured to convey auditory information to the user; a processor configured to control the user interface, the microphone, and the speaker; and a memory accessible by the processor and configured to store executable instructions. The memory is configured to further store texts to be provided to the user and voice data received from the user. The executable instructions, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform: recognizing an emotional state of the user based on the user's input; providing texts including different contents to the user according to the emotional state of the user; receiving a voice that the user articulates the texts and storing the voice in the memory as the voice data; obtaining a plurality of modulated voices by converting the voice data; and providing at least two among the plurality of modulated voices to the user.
Intelligent warning system
Various embodiments described herein relate to an intelligent warning system in a communication service. One embodiment of the present invention analyzes a user's biometric signals and image data of one of the users in a communication session to determine a distress level. In addition, location data indicating the user's velocity and direction can be used to determine a distress level. If the biometric signals or the image data indicate a distress level that meets or exceeds a threshold level, a notification is automatically sent to a remote user. This can allow a remote user to render assistance to a user in distress, even when the user is unable to communicate one or more conditions.
Method and apparatus for assessing sensorimotor performance
A method and apparatus for quantifying differences in human sensorimotor performance useful for diagnosing, assessing, and/or detecting brain injury and/or a neurological disorder, or identifying exceptional performance in a subject. In a task a subject's limb movement is restricted to a limited workspace and an object moves towards the limb. The objective of the task is for the subject to contact the object with the limb within a set time period. During the task a perturbation directed to the object and/or limb, or other feature of the environment, may occur on some trials, requiring a rapid motor correction in order to contact the object, or the subject may receive an alternative instruction on whether to interact with the object. Position data and/or motion data and/or kinetic data of the limb or portions thereof with respect to a presented object are obtained, and a data set is acquired for a plurality of trials. The acquired data set provides information about brain injury and/or a neurological disorder in the subject or exceptional capabilities of the subject.
Dynamic neuropsychological assessment tool
A dynamic neuropsychological assessment tool according to an embodiment utilizes speech recognition, speech synthesis and machine learning to assess whether a patient is at risk for a neurological disorder, such as Alzheimer's disease. The dynamic neuropsychological assessment tool enables self-administration by a patient. The tool performs pre-test validation operations on the test environment, test equipment, and the patient's capability for performing the test at that time. The tool also enables dynamic modification of a questionnaire presented to the patient while the patient completes the questionnaire. Also provides the dynamic modification of which tests to present the patient with. The modification can be rule based or modified by a provider. The dynamic neuropsychological assessment tool enables providers and administrators to modify and improve tests and validate them using machine learning based on previously completed assessments and results.
METHOD, COMPUTING DEVICE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM TO TRANSLATE AUDIO OF VIDEO INTO SIGN LANGUAGE THROUGH AVATAR
A sign language translation method performed by at least one processor includes setting a sign language translation avatar in a video call, translating speech of at least one speaker into sign language during the video call, and displaying the sign language through the sign language translation avatar during the video call.
