Vehicle fuel storage system, and methods of use and manufacture thereof
Some embodiments are directed to a cover assembly for a fuel filler pipe that is disposed adjacent vehicle suspension components. The cover assembly can include a first cover portion that includes a first extension that extends in a first direction and a second extension that extends in a second direction that intersects the first extension at an angle, the first cover portion forming a channel defined by a first cover portion wall that is configured to wrap around a portion of an outer perimeter of the fuel filler pipe so as to leave a section of the outer perimeter of the fuel filler pipe exposed so as to permit movement of the exposed outer perimeter section, the first cover portion being configured to extend more than half a length of the fuel filler pipe.
Dump Truck
A dump truck includes an engine provided in an engine compartment, and a pair of fenders provided at a rear side of the engine compartment and provided at a distance in the vehicle width direction. The dump truck includes the fender having a fender inclination plate extending so as to incline downward along a rear portion of each front wheel, and a shield portion having a shield inclination plate inclined downward while directing rearward between the pair of fenders and both ends of which in the vehicle width direction are connected to the respective fenders.
MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle having a vehicle body an electrical traction machine, and at least one electrical energy accumulator designed as a traction battery for temporarily storing electrical energy for operating the traction machine. The vehicle body and/or a battery housing of the traction battery is/are provided at least in some regions within intumescent fire protection coating.
Alternative fuel system
An apparatus and a method are provided for an alternative fuel system, comprising a plurality of fuel tank assemblies interconnected with fuel lines; the plurality of fuel tank assemblies comprising a CNG fuel tank and a fuel tank shield; wherein a first and second fuel tank assembly is disposed immediately in front of a rear wheel assembly, and a third fuel tank assembly is disposed immediately behind the rear wheel assembly.
Imaging device having heat radiation structure
An imaging device installed inside a windshield of a vehicle, capturing images from ahead of the vehicle is provided. The imaging device includes a housing, a lens, an imaging device and a processing board. The housing includes a first portion, facing the windshield, and a second portion located opposite to the first portion. The first portion has a first outer surface as an outer surface thereof, and the second portion has a second outer surface as an outer surface thereof. The first outer surface has a light reflectance which is larger than a light reflectance of the second outer surface. The processing board is provided in the housing, and the processing circuit is provided on the processing board, facing the second portion only.
VEHICULAR ENGINE ROOM STRUCTURE
The present application discloses an engine room structure of a vehicle including:
a partitioning wall configured to partition a storage space in which an engine is stored from a piping space to form an intake passage for supplying air to a combustion chamber of the engine; and an intake pipe which partially forms the intake passage in the piping space, wherein the intake pipe extends along the partitioning wall, the intake pipe being integrally formed with the partitioning wall.
Power steering device with a remote computer under the rack
The invention relates to a vehicle (2) provided with a power-steering device (1) which includes at least one steering rack (3) and an assistance motor (4) arranged to drive said steering rack (3), as well as at least one on-board computer (13) inside the vehicle (2), intended for controlling said assistance motor (4), the computer (13) being placed mostly, and preferably entirely, below the rack (3), preferably in a shell (20), inside of which the rack (3) is translatably guided, and inside of which a space for the computer is arranged for said purpose.
Heat insulating structure for internal combustion engine
A heat insulating structure of an internal combustion engine (engine 1) includes a cylinder-head-side heat insulating cover (30) and a cylinder-block-side heat insulating cover (40). Each of the first side walls (32) of the cylinder-head-side heat insulating cover (30) is disposed outwardly of, and is spaced apart from, a corresponding one of the second side walls (43) of the cylinder-block-side heat insulating cover (40) in the width direction of the vehicle. The lower edge of each of the first side walls (32) is positioned below the upper edge of the corresponding one of the second side walls (43) to overlap with the corresponding one of the second side walls (43) when viewed from the side of the vehicle.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes an engine mounted in a front portion of a travelling vehicle, and a post-processing device configured to purify exhaust gas from the engine. The engine and the post-processing device are covered with a hood. An upper surface side of the hood is inclined to extend diagonally upward from a front side to a rear side. The post-processing device is mounted on an upper side of the engine, and is positioned on a rear and inner side of the inclined upper surface side of the hood.
