A releasable wheel assembly is presented. The releasable wheel assembly includes a base plate and a bracket coupled to the base plate. The bracket includes multiple bosses and each boss includes a hole. An axle passing through the hole of each boss. The axle includes a circumferential groove adjacent to each end of the axle. Additionally, a brace is coupled to the base plate and the axle.

Exemplary embodiments of an expedition cart are provided. The expedition cart includes a chassis configured and dimensioned to support a load. The expedition cart includes first and second gusset plates attached to the chassis. Each of the first and second gusset plates includes a central body portion and curved fastening edges on either side of the central body portion. The curved fastening edges can be configured and dimensioned to mate against at least a portion of the chassis. Exemplary embodiments of an expedition cart are also provided that include first and second hubs engaged with the chassis, the first and second hubs defining either a single part or a two part design.

Exemplary embodiments of an expedition cart are provided. The expedition cart includes a chassis configured and dimensioned to support a load. A wheelbarrow carrier provides transportation and dumping from a connection to a standard trailer hitch or tractor three-point mount. A pivoting ramp is used to load the wheelbarrow and a locking mechanism locks the wheelbarrow foot in place and the ramp in an upward position, once the wheelbarrow has been rolled onto the ramp and the ramp has pivoted from a downward position to an upward level position. The ramp pivots once the wheel of the wheelbarrow has rolled past the pivot point sufficiently to tip the ramp. Once the wheelbarrow is locked in the upward (level) position, a motor is activated to rotate a boom to which the ramp is attached with respect to a frame that is connected to the vehicle mount.

A method of assisting in the mobility of a wheelbarrow includes the steps of coupling a first coupling arm and a second coupling arm of an assist device to a portion of a top edge of the wheelbarrow; orienting a first flexible connector and a second flexible connector underneath the wheelbarrow such that the first flexible connector and the second flexible connector are contactable with a shell of the wheelbarrow; grasping a handle coupled to the first flexible connector and the second flexible connector by an assistant; grasping handles of the wheelbarrow by an operator; applying a first force from the operator to the handles, elevating legs of the wheelbarrow; providing a second force by the assistant on the handle; and maintaining the first force while the second force is provided.

An insulated caddy includes a tray disposed above a frame with a wheel secured beneath each corner of the frame. A plurality of accessory rails is disposed about the exterior sides of the frame. An adjustable shelf is secured to the handle. A metallic rack is secured in the back of the tray and is perpendicular to the tray bottom. A plurality of hooks is disposed adjacent the top edge of the tray. A mesh bag with a fastener is centered within the metallic rack.

A mobile container that is designed to allows a user to easily transport the container through a variety of terrains, such as snow, sand, and pavement. The mobile container includes an insulated container, a first sled-molded runner, a second sled-molded runner, a first wheel, a second wheel, and a convex protrusion. The first sled-molded runner and the second sled-molded runner are positioned parallel and opposite to each other, across the insulated container, and are adjacently connected to a base of the insulated container. The first wheel and the second wheel are laterally and coaxially connected to the insulated container, opposite to each other. The convex protrusion modifies the flow of sand or snow about the insulated container in order to decrease drag. The convex protrusion is positioned opposite the first wheel and the second wheel. Additionally, the convex protrusion is integrated into a front surface of the insulated container.

Disclosed herein are aspects of wheelbarrows and other similar types of wheeled material transport structures that comprise a plurality of interconnected discrete structural components implemented in a manner that enhances and maintains structural rigidity at the interconnections between such components. In particular, Advantageously, implementation of the interconnected discrete structural components in a manner that enhances and maintains structural rigidity at the interconnections thereof improves operability and longevity of use of wheelbarrows and other similar types of wheeled material transport structures utilize such an implementation of the interconnected discrete structural components.
