TROLLEY ARRANGEMENT

A trolley arrangement is provided comprising a chassis from which a plurality of upwardly extending, rear support posts extend. An upper support frame is fitted to, and extends away from, the rear support posts, the upper support frame being fitted along the length of the support posts so that upper portions of the support posts extend upwardly, so as to protrude, from the upper support frame, the upper support frame comprising a peripheral bar component. A basket can be secured to the upper portions of the support posts, the basket being supported on top of the upper support frame once assembled. The basket comprises a corresponding plurality of elongate corner side wails that are arranged to be adjacent the upwardly extending support posts so that each post is arranged to abut against one of the upwardly extending corner side walls in use.

FOLDING SUPPORT RAIL AND TONGUE FOR CONVERTING A HAND TRUCK, CART OR DOLLY INTO TO A PANEL CART
20200223462 · 2020-07-16 ·

Methods and apparatus improve the panel support rail, tongue, handle and hinge system for hand-trucks, carts and dollies that convert to panel-carts. A panel-cart, typically seen in large building supply stores, is used to carry plywood panels, windows, door and other similar object as well as long lumber, all of which cannot be carry by a standard hand-truck. The conversion efficiency of a hand-truck to a panel-cart is improved and the user complexity reduced, partially by attaching parts with hinges that were previously separate components, further by using the handle as a primary or secondary support rail when placed in the extended position via hinges or fixed receivers.

Folding handcart

A folding handcart includes: a main body provided with at least one wheel unit for moving at a lower portion thereof and provided with a supporter configured to extend vertically from the lower portion thereof; and a loading plate connected to the supporter of the main body through a hinge unit, folded while being rotated toward the main body by the hinge unit, and stowing an article or a folding box, wherein, when the loading plate is folded while being rotated toward the main body, a predetermined stowing space is provided between the main body and the loading plate in accordance with an area of the supporter such that the folding box is folded and stowed therein.

Carriage

A carriage according to the present embodiment comprises: a mounting base in which a plane for placing a freight is defined, the mounting base receiving the freight from an end part of the plane by horizontal movement; and a drop prevention part that is provided to the end part of the plane, and that prevents the freight from dropping off from the mounting base. The drop prevention part includes: a movable part that rotates about an axis along a direction perpendicular to both the vertical direction and a direction in which the freight is received; and a rotation inhibiting part that is provided between said plane and a horizontal plane on which said axis is present, and that limits the range of rotation of the movable part. The movable part includes: a contact part that comes into contact with the freight; and a weight part at which the center of gravity of the movable part is located. The contact part has an end part that projects more upward in the vertical direction than the plane. When the contact part is pressed from the inner side of the mounting base toward the outer side, the rotation inhibiting part stops the rotation of the movable part about the axis by contacting the contact part and keeps the end part of the contact part more upward in the vertical direction than the plane.

Construction safety railing assemblies, components, and methods for storage, transport, and installation
10597057 · 2020-03-24 ·

The construction industry ranks among the largest and most dangerous industries in the world. To promote worker safety, government regulations require use of fall protection equipment, such as railings, many of which are expensive, wasteful, and/or time consuming to use. Accordingly, the present inventor devised some alternatives. One exemplary system incorporates a dual post base plate configured for attachment to a concrete floor via a single concrete anchor bolt, instead of the multiple bolts used conventionally, thereby reducing assembly time and cost. Another embodiment includes a rolling cart assembly which stores the rails in a side-by-side vertical arrangement and the base plates in an interleaved sequence, promoting easy access during installation and inventory control during disassembly and storage. Additionally, some embodiments include four stacking posts that extend upward from the cart, enabling multiple carts to be stacked vertical on atop the other to save space on construction sites.

This disclosure teaches a system and method for moving multiple drywalls in tight spaces. A dolly device can comprise a pair of vertical brackets, and a platform. Each of the vertical brackets can comprise a top joint and a bottom joint. The bottom joint can be slideable within the top joint. The platform can mount the vertical brackets. The platform can comprise a front surface and a back surface. The front surface can be slideable within the back surface.

MATERIAL TRANSPORT CART

A material transport cart includes a cart body, a material support body coupled to the cart body, a wheel coupled to the cart body, a motor operable to drive the wheel, and a powered lift assembly. The powered lift assembly is coupled to the cart body and to the material support body. The powered lift assembly is operable to lift the material support body relative to the cart body. A removable battery is electrically coupled to and operable to supply power to both the motor and the powered lift assembly.

Dolly edge support device

Example edge support devices for a dolly are described. The edge support devices include a body including first and second body sections angled relative to each other, a first engagement assembly extending from a bottom surface of the first body section, and a second engagement assembly extending from a bottom surface of the second body section. The first and second engagement assemblies each include a central protrusion and pairs of side protrusions configured to be inserted into openings in the supporting surface of the dolly. The pairs of side protrusions of the first and second engagement assemblies engage the respective openings of the dolly to detachably couple the body of the edge support devices to the dolly.
