Mooring rope device of floating offshore structure for avoiding ship collision, method for operating same, and method for installing same

A floating offshore mooring chain apparatus for preventing collision with a ship is proposed. The mooring chain apparatus includes a buoyant body floating on the water surface to transfer resources to a transport ship, a plurality of mooring chains fixed to the seabed to locate the buoyant body in position on the water surface, and a plurality of spider buoys disposed to a lower portion of the buoyant body such that the mooring chains laterally penetrate through the spider buoys, respectively, and extend toward the seabed in different directions, so that the mooring chains are moved by a rotating force along the extension directions thereof to displace the buoyant body.

A deflector for a mooring buoy of the type having a raised shackle includes a mounting plate that has a top side, a bottom side, and at least one peripheral edge. A shackle aperture traverses a center portion of the mounting plate and is adapted for receiving the shackle therethrough. A cage projects upwardly from the at least one peripheral edge of the mounting plate and terminates at an upper rim. The cage has a plurality of apertures therethrough and two or more tie apertures adjacent the shackle aperture. In use, the shackle of the buoy is inserted into the shackle aperture and the cage is rotated 90-degrees to secure the deflector to the buoy. Ties are then fastened through the tie apertures and the through the shackle to further secure the deflector to the mooring buoy.

SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES FOR RECOVERING A CONDENSATE FROM A CONDUIT

Systems and processes for recovering a condensate from a conduit. In one embodiment, the system can include a floating buoy that can include a fluid swivel assembly coupled thereto. The system can also include a floating conduit, a first gas transfer conduit, and a second gas transfer conduit that can be configured to transfer a gas discharged from a vessel storage tank to a pipeline end manifold located at a subsea location. The system can also include a first condensation conduit, a pump, and a second condensation conduit that can be configured to transfer at least a portion of any condensate that accumulates within an internal volume of the floating conduit at a low point between the vessel storage tank and the first gas transfer conduit into a flow path defined by a first swivel section of the fluid swivel assembly, a storage tank, or a combination thereof.

Disconnectable bow turret

The invention concerns a vessel (1) for storing and/or producing hydrocarbons and a buoyant turret buoy (6) to be connected to the vessel (1). The outer surface of the bow (2) of the vessel (1) comprises a receiving structure (5) for connecting a buoyant turret buoy (6) to the bow (2). The main part of the receiving structure (5) protrudes from the lower part (4) of the bow (2) in the vessel's (1) direction of travel and an interface of the receiving structure (5) is complementary to an interface of a connecting section (17) of the buoyant turret buoy (6). Further the lower part (4) of the bow (2) is below the water line (w) during connection of the buoyant turret buoy (6) at sea. The invention also concerns a method for connecting the buoyant turret buoy (6) to receiving structure (5) of the vessel (1).
