A liquid cannabis blending and dispensing oil printer system. The 6D Liquid Cannabis Printer (6 cartridges) enables a user to create and save a unique blend of cannabis oils (THC, CBD terpenes, etc.) online, based on their cartridge set, and print it to the 6D oil printer at home via proprietary print driver. By enabling the user the ability to select and load the unit with personal favorites (THC, CBD terpenes, etc.), the 6D oil printer offers infinite combinations. This empowers users with a variety of combinations to accommodate the wide range of personal formulas and or recipes as desired.

Manifold for automatic drug compounder

A manifold for control of fluid and/or vapor flow between a container and a pump cartridge for a compounder system is provided. One or more manifolds may be disposed in a magazine configured to secure and align the manifolds with a plurality of ports in the cartridge. Each manifold may include a needle having forward and rear openings to a central bore. A needle housing may include a slot configured to receive a push rod for actuating the needle forward and backward. In a forward, engaged position, the openings in the needle may be disposed on opposite sides of a sealing member of the manifold to form a fluid pathway through the manifold. In a rearward, disengaged position, both the forward and rear openings in the needle may be disposed on the same side of the sealing member to prevent fluid and vapor from flowing through the manifold.

Apparatus and method for monitoring and controlling the removal of a cover from a sealed tube in an aseptic environment

A system is presented for monitoring and controlling in a sterilizable environment the peeling of a cover from a tub sealed by the cover. The system employs a platform having a fiducial source locating structure for holding the tub, a cover removal station disposed to engage with the cover and to peel the cover from the tub, a light source disposed to illuminate a portion of the platform proximate the cover removal station, a light sensor sensitive to light from the light source and disposed to preferentially collect and measure light diffusely reflected from the illuminated portion of the platform, and a controller with software to operate the system. An associated method for monitoring and controlling the peeling of the cover involves moving a peeled portion of the cover into a predetermined peeling monitor zone within the illuminated portion of the platform, and measuring an intensity of light from the light source diffusely reflected specifically from the peeling monitor zone. The positioning of the elements of the system and the peeling monitor zone allow measured light intensity to be employed as a control measure for the peeling process.

The present invention relates to a method and system for aseptically filling of flexible packages containing dry cloth. Such a method may include a first stage that is performed in a non-sterile environment. The first stage may include cutting a first substantially dry cloth to a predetermined size; inserting the first cloth into a flexible package; sealing a first end of the flexible package; and sterilizing the flexible package. The method may also include a second stage performed in a sterile environment. The second stage may include filling the flexible package with a medical solution such that the substantially dry cloth absorbs at least a portion of the medical solution; and sealing the open end of the flexible package.

Apparatus and methods for sealing a medicament within a medical delivery device
11523969 · 2022-12-13 · ·

Apparatus and methods for lyophilizing and sealing a medicament within a medical delivery device having an opening. The apparatus may include a stopper for sealing the opening. The stopper may have one or more elongated members extending from a base, in a direction that is parallel to a central axis of the base. One or more of the members may be set radially away from the axis and define a coaxial central well. The member or members may define a void. The elongated member or members may engage a device inner wall and support the base away from the opening. The void may provide gas exchange between a device interior and a device exterior. The gas may be a lyophilization byproduct that escapes from the device interior between the inner wall, the base and the member or members. The stopper may be advanced into the device to seal the opening.

ROBOTIC FILLING SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A polymer vial with a tubular body having a geometric shape including (i) a neck having an opening orifice, and (ii) a closed base formed by flattening and sealing a bottom edge of the tubular body. The vial will also include a snap off cap integrally formed on the neck and a liquid content contained in the tubular body. A plurality of dosage lines are printed on the tubular body, the dosage lines having a non-uniform spacing corresponding to the variable volume per unit length of the vial geometric shape. Each line corresponds to a dosage volume of the liquid content when the opening orifice is oriented in the vertically upward position.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FLEXIBLY TREATING PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGES

A method of filling pharmaceutical containers includes: filling a first plurality of containers, the first plurality of containers being supported by a first holder supported on a first step of a first transport and packaging container defining a first step height, the filling includes moving filling needles of a filling device to a filling needle height and dispensing a substance into each of the first plurality of containers; and filling a second plurality of containers, the second plurality of containers being supported by a second holder supported on a second step of a second transport and packaging container defining a second step height equal to the first step height, the filling includes moving the filling needles to the filling needle height and dispensing the substance into each of the second plurality of containers, the second plurality of containers differ from the first plurality of containers in at least one aspect.
