BALING PRESS FOR COTTON GIN TRASH AND OTHER BIOMASS FEEDSTOCK AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
The present invention generally relates to a baling press for baling cotton gin trash and other particulate biomass feedstock. The baling press generally comprises an infeed chute assembly, a compression ram assembly, an extrusion chamber assembly, a strapping storage and dispensing assembly, and a strapping insertion assembly. The present invention also relates to methods of producing a bale with the baling press and a bale generated by said baling press and described methods.
PACKAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A packaging system for goods, having a box (1) for holding the goods, the box having four side walls (11a-d), a front face (12) and a rear face (16); the front face has a wall provided with a window (15); the rear face has an opening; the packaging system further has either (i) a plastic film (6) wrapped around the box, the plastic film covering the front face and the rear face of the box and thereby retaining the goods within the box; or (ii) at least one band placed around the box, the at least one band being placed around the box so as to encircle the front face and the rear face of the box and thereby retain the goods within the box; and the opening in the rear face is configured to allow the goods to be pushed out of the box through the opening when the box is resting on one of its side walls and after the plastic film or the at least one band has been removed.
STEEL STRAP SECURING DEVICE
A device to secure and restrain ends of a steel strap positioned and tensioned around a load when the strap is cut includes a body having at least one magnet loosely mounted thereto. The body can include a non-linear shape that defines first and second legs opposing each other, and two magnets such that each of the magnets is loosely mounted on respective legs for movement independent of each other. The body can define a mounting plate to which a magnet is loosely mounted on one side with a handle mounted on an opposite side of the plate. The magnet or magnets are free floating and can swivel in varying directions so as to attach to the strap at varying angles and maintain a secure hold on the strap.
PACKAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A packaging system for goods is provided, comprising a box (1) for holding the goods, the box having four side walls (11a-d), a front face (12) and a rear face (16). The front face comprises a wall provided with front flaps (13a-d) defining a front window (13). The packaging system further comprises either a plastic film (6) wrapped around the box, covering the front face and the rear face of the box and retaining the goods within the box; or at least one band (6) placed around the box, placed around the box so as to encircle the front face and the rear face of the box and retain the goods within the box. The front flaps provided in the front face are configured to disengage and thus allow the goods to be unloaded from the box after either the plastic film or the at least one band has been removed and the box has been turned so that the front face faces downwards.
Paper sheets pre-processing apparatus
A paper sheets pre-processing apparatus of an embodiment includes a large band remover, a small bundle coupler, a small band remover and an accumulator. The large band remover conveys a bundle in which a plurality of paper sheets are bound by small bands and a predetermined number of small bundles are bound by a large band, and removes the large band from the bundle. The small bundle coupler conveys the predetermined number of small bundles included in the bundle from which the large band is removed by the large band remover, and couples the predetermined number of small bundles to each other. The small band remover separates a single small bundle from the small bundles coupled by the small bundle coupler and removes the small band from the small bundle. The accumulator accumulates the paper sheets from which the small band is removed by the small band remover.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING A BANDEROLE
An apparatus and a corresponding method for separating a band of a bundle of documents have a deformation device which is devised to deform the bundle, in particular to bulge the bundle, such that a portion of the band lifts from the bundle, and a separating device which is devised to at least partly cutting through the band in the region of the portion lifted from the bundle. A value-document processing system includes such an apparatus.
OPENING ASSEMBLY FOR A PACKAGE
An opening assembly for a package, particularly for containers including vials, bottles, syringes, and carpules which can be installed in a container handling and filling system. The package includes a tub covered by a covering film, the tub containing a nest bearing the containers in an orderly manner. The opening assembly includes at least one clamp located upstream of an opening placed on a separation wall between a first and second sterile environment. While the package passes through the opening, the clamp clamps a portion of an edge of the covering film, consequently removing the covering film from the tub.
Method for inserting aperture in part-region of film wrapping of goods stack arranged on pallet, where the film wrapping is configured as film hood drawn over goods stack or as film sleeve surrounding goods stack at least in part
A device for inserting an aperture in a film wrapping of a goods stack arranged on a pallet, where the film wrapping is a film hood drawn over the goods stack or as a film sleeve surrounding the goods stack is disclosed. A piercing element has a rotatably attached actuation arm. The piercing element exhibits first and second part-regions. The first part-region is mounted rotatably on the actuation arm and the second part-region includes the piercing region. The second part-region is pivotable relative to the first part-region from an original position against a restoring force. A corresponding system and a method for inserting an aperture in a part-region of a film wrapping of a goods stack arranged on a pallet is disclosed, where the film wrapping is configured as a film hood drawn over the goods stack or as a film sleeve surrounding the goods stack.
STRAPPING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF HANDLING STRAPPING
A strapping apparatus for cutting a strap on a package has a treatment head having on a lower side a full base plate having a lift edge on a full base plate. A manipulator carries the treatment head for movement in three dimensions. A controller operates the manipulating means for first passing a corner of the base plate under the strap and subsequently pivoting in the base plate to completely underlie the strap.
Cutting Tool and Method for Single-Handed Destructive Release of a Cable Tie
The disclosure relates to a cutting tool for destructively releasing a cable tie, comprising a cutting unit for cutting into the cable tie to be released; a housing unit having a handle element for holding the cutting tool and an end face to be placed on the cable tie to be loosened during intended use with a path limiting unit, which is designed to limit a path covered by a blade element of the cutting unit when cutting the cable tie to be released in such a way that the cable tie is cut but not cut through by the cutting unit when the cutting tool is used as intended in order to provide an improved cutting tool which overcomes the problems known from the prior art, in particular eliminates injury to the bundling good and simplifies the destructive release of a cable tie closed around a cable bundling good.
