An exemplary web of preformed bags includes first and second layers, first and second side, first and second side seals proximate the first and second edges, a plurality of transverse seals extending between the first and second side edges, an opening in the first layer, and a line of separation in the second layer, and first and second cuts in the first and second side seals. The first and second cuts are configured to reduce or eliminate a breaking force necessary to break the first and second side seals when the web is torn along the line of separation.

Pallet bag gathering apparatus to gather pallet bags for use in an automated pallet bag packaging system, preferably for the packaging of fruits or vegetables. The pallet bag gathering apparatus may be automated, semi-automated or manual in nature.

A dispenser is disclosed for dispensing plastic bags from bag rolls. The dispenser includes a base frame and an arm pivotally connected to the base frame. A roll stop is attached to the arm to be inserted in the core of the bag roll when one is nested on the frame. The roll stop includes an internal spring which applies a braking force to the interior of the core of the bag roll to prevent the bag roll from spinning.

The invention relates to a package or product comprising at least one space for contents or objects, formed of at least one flexible part, which is a flexible pouch type container part, and to the at least one flexible part attached at least one stiff support part, in which the at least one stiff support part forms in opened position at least part of wall structure of the package or product. The at least one flexible part and the at least one stiff support part form the at least one space for the objects or contents, when the stiff material of the support part is bent and/or the package is opened at the stiff support part. A system including a plurality of disposable bags, a dispenser for the bags and a method of use for accommodating a personal electronic device within each bag to isolate it from the ambient atmosphere is disclosed. Each of the bags includes a pair of panels of a flexible transparent material forming a hollow cavity or pocket having an open mouth through which the personal electronic device may be inserted. Each bag includes a flap for adhesively sealing the mouth of the bag with the device therein so that any pathogens on the device are sealed and isolated within the bag, and pathogens in the ambient atmosphere will not come in direct contact with the personal electronic device. The panels of the bag are frangible so that the bag can be torn open to remove the device, when desired. The dispenser is configured to dispense the bags one at a time.

A protective bag into which a mobile device can be placed to limit exposure of the device to unsanitary conditions or conversely to limit exposure of other surfaces to an unsanitary mobile device. The protective bags are distributed to users using a dispenser. The system improves overall hygiene associated with use of mobile devices.

Described is a produce bag dispenser with a bag opening device. The bag opening device helps a customer in a retail store to open a produce bag as the produce bag is being removed from the produce bag dispenser. The bag opening device includes a sleeve and a friction plate with a frictional element. The sleeve attaches the bag opening device to the produce bag dispenser. The friction plate, with a frictional element such as rubber or other sticky or gritty material on it, is positioned below the bag separator of the produce bag dispenser. As the customer separates one bag from the roll of produce bags with the bag separator, they slide the bag along the frictional element of the friction plate, which opens the bag for the customer as the bag is separated from the roll of produce bags.

Methods, apparatuses, and systems for dispensing a bag which are configured to receive and retain one or more objects. Some bag dispenser embodiments can comprise a pair of guiderails angled toward each other so that a bag positioned between the two guiderails can slide along guiderails to press open the mouth of bag. Other dispensers can comprise a pair of guiderails that are parallel. Other embodiments of the present disclosure comprise bags that are configured for use with the dispenser. Still other embodiments are described.

A tape includes, in a cross-sectional shape: a first and a second portion which are configured to be at least partially in opposition. The first portion includes: thick portions provided in corresponding one of a first and a third region, out of the first, a second, and the third region in a width direction of the tape; a first and a second thin portion provided at respective both end portions, in the width direction, of the second region positioned between the first and the third region; and at least one intermediate portion provided between the first and the second thin portion. The second portion includes: thick portions provided in corresponding one of the first and the third region and extending beyond end portions, in the width direction, of the second region; and at least one third thin portion provided in the second region and opposed to the intermediate portion.

The invention provides such a bag that a person can easily recognize the message text displayed thereon. A plastic bag (1) is a transparent or semi-transparent bag. The plastic bag (1) has warning message text (message) displayed on at least either an outside surface of the bag or an inside surface of the bag.
