ASSEMBLIES FOR PROTECTING AUTOMOBILE PARTS
An assembly incorporates a main body having first and second side panels, an end panel, and first and second flaps. The end panel is disposed between the first and second side panels. The first and second flaps extend outwardly from corresponding lower edges of the first and second panels. The main body selectively exhibits a pre-assembled configuration, in which the first and second side panels, the end panel, and the first and second flaps are oriented in a first plane, and an assembled configuration, in which the first and second side panels are oriented in an overlying relationship with respect to each other with the end panel extending therebetween. The first and second flaps are overlapped and secured to form a base upon which the main body is supported as a freestanding structure. The main body defines, in the assembled configuration, a cavity configured to receive an automobile part.
Elastomer lined self-locking tie
An elastomer lined self-locking tie includes an elongated strap, at least one cavity or recess in the elongated strap, an elastomer segment, and a locking head. The elongated strap includes a head end positioned opposite a tapered end. The tapered end includes a first surface positioned opposite a second surface. The cavity is positioned in either the first surface or the second surface. The elastomer segment is positioned within the cavity and extends beyond either the first surface or the second surface. The locking head extends from the head end of the elongated strap and includes an orifice shaped to receive the tapered end of the elongated strap and the elastomer segment.
Tether
A tether for connecting two different objects together has first and second elongate and flexible end portions having proximal and distal ends, and an elongate and flexible intermediate portion. The intermediate portion is releasably connectable with the first and second end portions, by the intermediate portion having connectors at either end and the first and second end portions having connectors at respective proximal ends to form first and second safety breakaways. The connections of the first and second safety breakaways, are made in-line with the general lengthwise axis of the tether. The first and second end portions are arranged for connection to a respective object. The safety breakaways between the intermediate portion and the first and second end portions are releasable at a predetermined release load.

Sewn stack of absorbent sheets
The invention provides a stack comprising a plurality of absorbent sheets stacked in facing arrangement. The stack is bound along its top edge by at least one line of stitches comprising a plurality of spaced apart stitch holes and a thread disposed therein. Individual sheets further comprise a line of perforations comprising a plurality of spaced apart perforation holes. The line of stitches and the line of perforations are such that there is generally a one-to-one numerical correspondence amongst at least a majority of the plurality of stitch holes and perforation holes.
BINDING TOOL
A binding tool includes: a flexible strip-shaped belt; a head connected to a base end of the belt and including a through hole through which the belt wound around an object is inserted; a plurality of ratchet teeth protruding from a front surface of the belt at positions spaced apart in an extension direction; and a plurality of ratchet claws locking the plurality of ratchet teeth inserted through the through hole, wherein the head has, on one side in a width direction, a slit through which the belt can be inserted or removed, and the plurality of ratchet teeth and ratchet claws are inclined such that each of one end portions thereof on the one side in the width direction is on a downstream side of the extension direction as compared with each of the other end portions thereof on the other side in the width direction.
Reusable cable buckle assembly
A reusable cable buckle assembly includes a detachable connection cable buckle and a base, a bundle space is provided between the cable buckle and the base for bundle the cables. The cable buckle is a fixed type cable buckle or a movable type cable buckle. And the base is a fixed type base or a movable type base. The reusable cable buckle assembly realizes the opening or closing of the bundle space through the detachable connection of the cable buckle and the base, thereby realizes the reusable of the cable buckle, and greatly reducing the construction time and cost.
MEMORY FASTENING DEVICE
A memory fastening device includes a fastener head that is positioned along the first end of an elongated body having a tapered second end, and a plurality of serrations. The head includes an opening having a shape that is complementary to the shape of the main body. A ratchet mechanism is positioned within the head and functions to engage the serrations to form a closed loop. The main body includes a layered construction having a core layer and an outer layer. The core layer is constructed from a piece of malleable metal having shape memory for maintaining a shape to which the device is manipulated, and the outer layer is constructed from an electrically non-conductive material that encapsulates the metallic memory core.
Flexible one-time use restraints
A disposable, flexible locking restraint having a base and first and second straps integrally molded of a dry flexible plastic is provided. During use, toothed portion of the straps engage toothed portions of associated pawls to provide for unidirectional travel of the straps through the base. For increased security, pawl locks are provided on the base. Each pawl lock has first and second retainers to engage the pawl lock on the base, where the first retainer is spaced from the second retainer along a length of the pawl lock. When the first retainer retains the pawl locks in the base, the pawls have sufficient freedom of movement to allow unidirectional movement of the straps through the base, and when the pawl locks are depressed such that the second retainer retains each pawl lock in its respective lock aperture, the pawl lock engages the pawl and presses the pawl against the strap, preventing further travel of the strap.
CABLE TIE
There is provided a cable tie (100) comprising: a cord (101) having a first end (102) and a second end (103), which cord comprises cellulosic fibers; and a locking head (104) fixedly attached to the first end (102), said locking head (104) being adapted to receive the second end (103) and retain the cable tie (100) in a closed loop configuration, wherein said locking head (104) defines (a) wall(s) (105) that encircles a passage (106) having an inlet (107) and an outlet (108) and comprises a metal blade (109) that extends into the passage (106) for engaging the cord (101) and which is arranged to allow displacement of the cord (101) in a first direction towards the outlet (108) while preventing displacement of the cord (101) in a second direction towards the inlet (107).
