The present subject matter provides a shrink film free of silicon-containing material, fluorine-containing material, and solvent-formed seams. The shrink film utilizes a water soluble layer covering an adhesive layer. The water soluble layer is in dry form and non-tacky, allowing processing of the shrink film subsequent to adhesive application to the shrink film. When the water soluble layer is dissolved, the adhesive layer is exposed and is capable of forming a permanent bond. The adhesive can be used to form a seam in the film and/or can be used to form a bond between the film and a substrate. The water soluble layer facilitates removal of an optional release liner from the adhesive. A substrate with the shrink film attached thereto and a related method of attaching a heat shrinkable film to a substrate are also disclosed.

The invention relates to shrink packaging for packing a series of containers. The packaging is characterized in that at least one incision line is provided in a first zone, said incision line including a series of perforations forming at least one partially detachable section arranged to allow the extraction of at least one container in a direction extending substantially from the lower part of the container to the upper part thereof, said partially detachable packaging section being larger than the cross-section of the at least one container to be extracted. Moreover, the partially detachable section is located on the periphery of the first zone.

This invention relates to a low cost rapid response diagnostic system to determine cortisol levels in patients selected as potential candidates for GCR (glucocorticoid receptor) antagonist therapy utilizing a GCR antagonist, such as ORG 34517. The rapid, sensitive, and inexpensive test can be used to determine patients who have non-normal cortisol production or disordered circadian rhythms as a method for selecting subjects for GCR antagonist therapy for whom it is likely to have beneficial and/or therapeutic effects, and can also be used to monitor changes in cortisol levels in response to treatment.

The inventive label is prepared from a polyester with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.58 dl/g or more. The label has a base film with a thickness of 8-30 m and a difference in specific heat capacity Cp between temperatures lower and higher than Tg of 0.2 J/(g.Math. C.) or more. A packaging system including a heat shrinkable flexible wall container and a heat shrinkable label is described. The label can be applied to the container prior to heat shrinking. Upon subjecting the labeled container containing the items or goods of interest to a heat shrink operation, the label and flexible wall container both undergo shrinking. The shrinkage characteristics of the flexible wall container and the label are matched to one another. Also described are various methods of packaging using the noted systems.

The problem is solved by performing shrink wrapping in which a tissue paper housing obtained by carrying fragrance-containing microcapsules on an inner surface of a housing box using a binder is covered with a shrink film and the shrink film is exposed to hot air W so as to be attached to the tissue paper housing, causing the fragrance-containing microcapsules to be detached from the binder by heating the tissue paper housing at the time of the shrink wrapping, and providing the scent for plural sheets of tissue papers.
