Methods for integrating scans including 3D cone beam scan for positioning of implant and fabrication of dental prosthesis
Methods for taking a scan of a patient's oral cavity for use in fabricating a dental prosthesis. Such methods may include providing a healing cap configured to be received within a subgingival void of a given tooth position, taking a first scan of the healing cap, wherein the first scan is taken outside of a patient's oral cavity, seating the healing cap, taking a second scan, which is an intraoral scan of the healing cap and surrounding surfaces once the healing cap is seated, taken inside the patient's oral cavity; and integrating the first scan of the healing cap with the intraoral second scan of the healing cap and the surrounding surfaces into an overall oral cavity scan. A third scan, (e.g., 3D cone beam scan), can also be taken, which is overlaid or otherwise integrated with the first and second scans, for use in fabrication of a dental prosthesis.
DENTAL COMPONENT AND A DENTAL IMPLANT
The invention relates to a dental component, such as an abutment, an abutment replica, an abutment blank, a customized abutment, a scan abutment, a digital transfer coping, an impression pick-up element, a healing cap or a driver, comprises a first indexing element and at least two second indexing elements having apical ends located apically of the apical end of said first indexing element. The invention also relates to a dental implant which comprises a dental component having first and second indexing elements and a fixture having third and fourth indexing elements, wherein the first and third indexing elements can only engage with each other after the second and fourth indexing elements have engaged with each other. The invention also relates to a fixture.
Customizable dental device
The present invention relates to a dental device adapted to be connected to a dental implant fixture, wherein the device at least comprises an scan body comprising polyether ether ketone (PEEK) adapted to be connected to the dental implant fixture and adapted to be captured by a scanning device, and a customizable gingiva body mounted to the scan body in a fixed position, wherein the gingiva body comprises a thermoplastic polymer adapted to be captured by a scanning device and at least partially comprising a polymer comprising a melting point of ≥35° C. and ≤80° C. In addition, the invention relates to a process for the production of a customized dental model and the use of a digital model obtained by the inventive process to produce customized crown models.
OSSEOINTEGRATIVE SURGICAL IMPLANT AND IMPLANT SURGICAL KIT
Embodiments of the present invention provide an osseointegrative implant and related tools, components and fabrication techniques for surgical bone fixation and dental restoration purposes. In one embodiment an all-ceramic single-stage threaded or press-fit implant is provided having finely detailed surface features formed by ceramic injection molding and/or spark plasma sintering of a powder compact or green body comprising finely powdered zirconia. In another embodiment a two-stage threaded implant is provided having an exterior shell or body formed substantially entirely of ceramic and/or CNT-reinforced ceramic composite material. The implant may include one or more frictionally anisotropic bone-engaging surfaces. In another embodiment a densely sintered ceramic implant is provided wherein, prior to sintering, the porous debound green body is exposed to ions and/or particles of silver, gold, titanium, zirconia, YSZ, α-tricalcium phosphate, hydroxyapatite, carbon, carbon nanotubes, and/or other particles which remain lodged in the implant surface after sintering. Optionally, at least the supragingival portions of an all-ceramic implant are configured to have high translucence in the visible light range. Optionally, at least the bone-engaging portions of an all-ceramic implant are coated with a fused layer of titanium oxide.
Electromotive linear drive in the form of a dual drive
An electromotive linear drive in the form of a dual drive adjust movably mounted parts of reclining and seating furniture. Two threaded spindles (2, 3) driven by a worm gear and which are arranged one behind the other and flush with one another for displacing a lifting element. Bearings are provided at both ends of each threaded spindle (2, 3). The bearings are designed as roller bearings (4, 5) having an inner ring (6) and an outer ring (7). The aim of the invention is to design an electromotive dual drive in such a way that a short overall length is achieved and that the stability of the structure is increased. Said aim is achieved by arranging an abutment between both roller bearings (4, 5), which accommodate the spindle ends, on which the roller bearings are supported on from both sides.
DENTAL ARTICLES AND METHODS OF USING SAME
Dental articles and methods of using same. The dental article (510) includes a shell defining a volume, the shell (512) comprising a circumferential base (514) and an incisal/occlusal region (516) distal from the circumferential base. The dental article (510) further includes a hardenable dental composition (518) located within the volume, and an isolation film (520) located at the circumferential base of the shell.
HEALING SET FOR A DENTAL RESTORATION
Healing set capable of a connection to a dental implant during a cicatrisation phase of a dental restoration process, comprising a cicatrisation element (10) designed to be surrounded at least partially by a gum (63) and a post base (1) designed to be fixed in an implant (60), characterized in that the cicatrisation element has a lateral surface (13) designed to be integrated inside a gum in order to structurize the gum during its cicatrisation, and a terminal surface (14), one portion of the lateral surface (13) and of the terminal surface (14) forming an emergent surface, designed to remain outside the gum, which is asymmetrical with respect to at least a median perpendicular plane, and in that the post base has a longitudinal axis (L) for its entire length, able to be aligned with the axis of an implant (60).
Screw and driver tool
The invention relates to a screw and corresponding screw driver for driving the screw into a dental implant at an angle from the longitudinal axis of the implant. The screw has a polygonal interface and the screw driver has a matching interface for driving the screw to rotate.
Fixed detachable dental attachment device, assembly and methods of using the same
A fixed, detachable dental attachment device has a cap for securing a dental appliance, a ring, and an abutment to attachment to a tooth root or implant. Also described herein are methods of securing a dental appliance in a subject's mouth by means of the dental attachment device. Further described herein is a dental attachment device for immediate load on a provisional denture and then incorporated into the final restoration.
Intermediate attachment part
