INTEGRATED TISSUE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS IN ORTHODONTIC ALIGNERS
Methods and apparatuses for managing soft tissue in preparation for a restorative implant procedure. The methods and apparatuses may be used shape the soft tissue in a manner that improves an emergence profile of the restorative implant, thereby providing a natural-looking and protective base for the implant. The apparatuses may include a tissue shaping feature, which may be used with one or more dental aligners, to apply a tissue shaping pressure to the soft tissue. The methods may be integrated with orthodontic treatment planning systems to provide a specialized treatment plan.
Denture-securing device
A denture-securing device is provided that is usable to substantially secure a denture within a mouth. The denture-securing device includes at least one absorbent and flexible pad installable on a first side and an opposite second side of a denture that is affixable to a human gum. The at least one pad comprises an embossed outer side configured to face a human gum when the pad is installed on the denture. The denture-securing device may be used with top dentures, bottom dentures, or other configurations of dentures. The denture-securing device may advantageously secure dentures without requiring use of adhesives. The denture-securing device may also reduce the likelihood of food getting under dentures, provide a firm yet soft and comfortable fit, and minimize rocking of lower dentures. The denture-securing device may advantageously be secured to gums using a suction fit through saliva or other sources of moisture.
ORAL DEVICE INCLUDING PH SENSOR
An oral device for checking a time to go to a dentist. The oral device includes a pH sensor configured to measure pH within an oral cavity, a housing on which the pH sensor is mounted, a processor configured to analyze measured pH from the pH sensor, and a wireless communication unit functionally connected to the processor and configured to perform communication with an external device. The oral device is useful for a patient who needs continuous management such as an implant surgery patient by allowing the patient to visually and easily check a time to go to a dentist and an individual oral condition of the patient. Further, by allowing the user to simply check the condition of the oral cavity at home, it is possible to more effectively manage the condition of the teeth and to save medical expenses.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING VIBRATIONS
Methods and apparatus for transmitting vibrations via an electronic and/or transducer assembly through a tooth or teeth are disclosed herein. The assembly may be attached, adhered, or otherwise embedded into or upon a removable oral appliance to form a hearing aid assembly. Such an oral appliance may be a custom-made device. The electronic and transducer assembly may receive incoming sounds either directly or through a receiver to process and amplify the signals and transmit the processed sounds via a vibrating transducer element coupled to a tooth or other bone structure, such as the maxillary, mandibular, or palatine bone structure.

Methods and apparatus for processing audio signals
Various methods and apparatus for processing audio signals are disclosed herein. The assembly may be attached, adhered, or otherwise embedded into or upon a removable oral appliance to form a hearing aid assembly. Such an oral appliance may be a custom-made device which can enhance and/or optimize received audio signals for vibrational conduction to the user. Received audio signals may be processed to cancel acoustic echo such that undesired sounds received by one or more intra-buccal and/or extra-buccal microphones are eliminated or mitigated. Additionally, a multiband actuation system may be used where two or more transducers each deliver sounds within certain frequencies. Also, the assembly may also utilize the sensation of directionality via the conducted vibrations to emulate directional perception of audio signals received by the user. Another feature may include the ability to vibrationally conduct ancillary audio signals to the user along with primary audio signals.
Method for producing a dental prosthesis, blank and dental prosthesis
A method is provided for producing a dental prosthesis from a blank using a CAD/CAM device, wherein the blank consists partially of base material and partially of tooth material, and a boundary surface between these materials is formed as a wave, the wave crests and wave valleys of which alternate with each other along the outer periphery of the blank. The apex of each wave crest extends substantially radially with respect to the blank. The CAD/CAM device fixes the position of a retention part, which serves to fasten the prosthesis to the alveolar crest of a patient, in particular of an external telescope, of a cover of a bar, or of an abutment in the prosthesis in such a way that it passes through the boundary surface. The retention part is fastened by means of gluing or incorporation by polymerisation.
A SYSTEM FOR THE CLEANING AND DISINFECTING OF GUM SURFACES SURROUNDING IMPLANT STRUCTURES THAT SUPPORT DENTURES
The preset invention is a system for easy and effective cleaning and disinfecting the gum-denture contact surfaces of a fixated-in-place denture plate, especially for cleaning and disinfecting the surfaces immediately surrounding the implants structures in the gum of the denture wearer that support the denture plate. The system is composed of: a denture plate having a smooth gum contact surface, at least one Denture-Alveolar-Implant Liquid Dispenser (DAILD) and a conduit liquid (or gas) streaming system. Optionally, the system also includes at least one Denture Liquid Sieve-Dispensers (DLSD). Each DAIL is constructed of: a dental implant structure, a locking component, a basin-structure and fastening-component. When liquid (or gas) is injected into the basin structure it flows from DAILD and cleans and disinfects the surrounding area of the DAILD in the denture plate.
Gingival Tissue Former
A process for providing a gingival tissue former may include, but is not limited to: capturing a cross-sectional image of a representation of a tooth in a digital scan, perpendicular to a reference axis, at a specified reference level; modifying an orientation of the cross-sectional image to correspond to a standard orientation; applying one or more image processing techniques to the cross-sectional image to generate a tooth shape image; and mapping the tooth shape image to one or more design specifications for a gingival tissue former.
DENTAL IMPLANT
A dental implant comprising a core manufactured in metal and a sleeve having an internal wall and nested by sliding on an upper part of the core in such a manner that the internal wall is located faced to that upper part of the core, which sleeve is manufactured from ceramic or Peek, a gap being left between the core and the internal wall of the sleeve in such a manner that an adhesive layer can be lodged in a space formed by the presence of that gap, wherein said gap has a distance situated between 5 and 30 ?m, in particular between 10 and 20 ?m.
