Water floss pick
A multi-piece apparatus for performing dental hygiene includes a head portion including a concave support member; a floss attachment; and a tapered hollow water access portion. The hollow water access portion includes a water intake component continuous with a water exit component. A mechanism is connected to the head portion that reduces bacteria from the head portion. A handle portion is connected to the head portion and includes a first handle end; a second handle end; and a fluid aqueduct extending an entire internal length of the handle portion, wherein the fluid aqueduct is aligned with the water intake component and extends within the head portion. A hose is connected to the handle portion, wherein the hose is positioned to direct water to traverse through the fluid aqueduct.
Dental floss holder capable of controlling tension
Disclosed is a dental floss holder which can control tension of dental floss which may be stretched or weakened during usage of the dental floss and prevent the tension of the dental floss from being decreased during usage of the dental floss by protrusions formed on a tension control portion. According to the present invention, there is provided a dental floss holder capable of controlling tension, the dental floss holder comprising: a body in which a head, to which a part for directly removing foreign matters of teeth from a dental floss is suspended, is provided at a front end thereof, a winding hole is through-formed in the middle thereof, and a locking pole which can be elastically deformed is formed around the winding hole; and a winding wheel which is inserted to the winding hole of the body to be rotatably provided, fixed when a part of the locking pole is suspended, and pulls the dental floss to maintain predetermined tension while rotating together when a part of the dental floss is suspended, in which the locking pole is formed in a cantilevered shape which is elastically deformable based on one end thereof, the locking protrusions are formed at the front end thereof to protrude in a longitudinal direction of the locking pole, locking grooves are grooved at predetermined intervals at a cylindrical insertion portion of the winding wheel along a trajectory which comes in contact with the locking protrusions while the winding wheel is rotated so that the locking protrusions are inserted to the locking grooves to fix the winding wheel.
Dental Floss Coating Composition
Provided herein is a dental floss coating composition comprising one or more polyethylene glycol polymers and a peroxide source, wherein the melting temperature of the one or more polyethylene glycol polymers, in combination, is from 38 C to 50 C, and wherein the one or more polyethylene glycol polymers are present in the composition in an amount of from 80 weight % to 97 weight % by total weight of the composition. The composition may be used in molten form to coat dental floss whilst maintaining the stability of the peroxide source.
SEAMLESS CIRCULAR DENTAL FLOSS
The present invention is related to a seamless and smooth circular dental floss for cleaning the gap between teeth with the advantages of great simplicity and cost effectiveness. A convenient dental floss package containing three sets of seamless and smooth circular floss with three different but preferred diameters, such as 50 mm, 70 mm and 90 mm may be provided for benefiting a family use or different habits in size.
Floss Accessory and Method
An apparatus for holding dental floss in tension, comprises of two components that form two sets of pivoted arms that holds the floss in tension between them; a means that host a repository of floss, such as a spool for example; and a means to anchor the dental floss that also hosts a sharp object to sever the excessive floss segment. Angular movement happens when the said two pivoted components move close to and away from each other. The said angular movement is then transformed to the horizontal sliding movement of a separate module which in turn locks the said repository of the spool, stopping it from dispensing more floss; changes the overall body length of the said apparatus; and drive a means which anchor and grip tight the floss. Together the locked repository, gripping anchor, and changing of the device length tighten the floss being held between the said two sets of the pivoted arms.
Disposable portable pocket fluid/floss dispenser
A disposable, portable and compact fluid and floss dispenser that is substantially rectangularly shaped with dispensers for fluid located at each of the four slanted configured corners and a spindle for dispensing floss and a mirror located on the bottom surface of the dispenser housing. In one embodiment two layers or sections are connected together. Nozzles are provided on a housing portion that is adapted to connect preferably by being form fitted onto the container to dispense fluid, drops or foam.
DENTAL CLEANING SYSTEM, BASE BODY, AND HOLDER FOR DENTAL FLOSS
A dental cleaning system (2) comprising a holder (12) for dental floss (18), which includes two mutually spaced brackets (19) and dental floss (18) held between the two brackets (19), and an, in particular U-shaped or annular, base body (1) to be slid onto a finger, which includes a recess (4) situated in the longitudinal direction (3) of the base body (1) for accommodating a fingertip. Essentially, the brackets (19) extend transversely to the longitudinal direction (3) of the base body (1). A first grip surface (9) is situated at least on each of the two sides of the base body (1), which is provided for controlling the movement of dental floss (18) in the mouth with the aid of the fingers adjacent to the base body (1). An appropriate base body (1) comprises, at least on each of the two sides of the base body (1), a first grip surface (9), which is provided for controlling the movement of dental cleaning elements, in particular dental floss (18), in the mouth with the aid of the fingers adjacent to the base body (1). An appropriate holder (12) for dental floss (18) comprises a second part (20) of a form-locking and/or force-locked fastening system (14) to be accommodated in a base body
INTERDENTAL INSTRUMENT
An interdental instrument may include a handling section (handle) for manual gripping of the interdental instrument, a carrier held by the handling section, on which an interdental part (e.g. a flossette or an abrasive element) is arranged, a joint device for pivotally holding the carrier on the handling section, so that the carrier can be pivoted relative to the handling section about a pivot axis between at least two mutually angularly offset holding positions. The joint device may include two mutually opposite sliding guide surfaces which are formed on the carrier side and/or handling section side, where the pivot axis crosses the sliding guide surfaces and may be being perpendicular to the two sliding guide surfaces.
