STACKER FOR STACKING SHEETS, AND RELATED METHOD
The stacker comprises two stacking platforms and a system for conveying corrugated board sheets, configured to discharge the sheets alternatively onto one or the other of the two stacking platforms. A switching device allows for a quick switch of the conveyor system from one to the other of two operating conditions.
DOUBLE-ENDLESS-BELT CONVEYOR, TURNOVER MODULE INCORPORATING SUCH A CONVEYOR AND FOLDING PACKAGE PRODUCTION LINE INCORPORATING SUCH A MODULE
The conveyor comprises two single-transport-belt conveyor subassemblies (42AL, 42AH) arranged facing each other symmetrically relative to a pinching plane of the conveyor (42A), two sets of rollers (423L, 423H) incorporated in the two conveyor subassemblies and distributed on either side of the pinching plane. A first set of rollers (423L) guides a belt (420AL) of the first conveyor subassembly and a second set of rollers (423H) guides a belt (420AH) of the second conveyor subassembly. The conveyor subassemblies comprise sets of vertically arranged jacks (424L, 424H) which are associated with the sets of rollers, each of the rollers being mounted on a dedicated respective jack.
MODULE FOR TURNING OVER FOLDING PACKAGES AND FOLDING PACKAGE PRODUCTION LINE INCORPORATING SUCH A MODULE
The module (3) comprises a frame having vertical pillars (30A, 30B), a rotary turnover structure (4) arranged horizontally between the vertical pillars and comprising rotation shafts (400A) supported by bearings (300A) with which the vertical pillars are respectively equipped. A motor (303B) applies a first mechanical torque to one of the rotation shafts when a folding package turnover is ordered in the machine. The module also comprises additional means (5) for applying a second mechanical torque to the other rotation shaft upon a folding package turnover.
Sheet stacker and method for forming stacks of sheets
A sheet stacker including a sheet conveyor arrangement and a stacking bay, wherein sheets delivered by the sheet conveyor arrangement are formed into stacks; the stacking bay including a stacker platform. The stacker platform is provided with a vertical lifting and lowering movement with respect to a stationary supporting structure and is controlled to move downwards while a stack of sheets is formed thereon. The stacker platform supports a stack conveyor configured and controlled to perform at least an evacuation motion, to remove a completed stack from the stacking bay. The evacuation motion of the stack conveyor is oriented such that a completed stack is moved from the stacking bay onto an evacuation conveyor arranged under the sheet conveyor arrangement.
DEVICE FOR PROCESSING SUBSTRATES
A device for processing substrates improves processing quality during separation or punching of such substrates. The device has a first processing cylinder and a second processing cylinder for treating substrates, and between which the substrate can be inserted. The substrate undergoes processing as it passes through the cylinder nip between the processing cylinders by use of tool parts that are active therein, and which may be chosen from a group composed of cutting tools, punching tools, creasing tools, perforating tools and grooving tools. The first processing cylinder has a sheet holding system and one of the first processing cylinder and the second processing cylinder has a tool carrier for receiving a tool part. An impression cylinder, which is in surface contact with the second processing cylinder, is assigned to the second processing cylinder, on the side thereof that faces away from the first processing cylinder.
