Movable emission control system for auxiliary diesel engines
A mobile emissions control system is provided for diesel engines operated on ocean-going ships at-berth. The emissions control system comprises two essential elements: an emissions capturing system and an emissions control system. The emissions control system may be mounted on a towable chassis or mounted on a barge, allowing it to be placed alongside ocean-going ships at-berth. The emission capturing system captures exhaust from a ship's diesel engine and conducts it into the emissions control system, which cleans the exhaust and then passes clean air into the atmosphere through an exhaust outlet.

YFI-STRUCTURE ZEOLITE COMPOSITION, HYDROCARBON ADSORBENT, AND METHOD FOR ADSORBING HYDROCARBONS
A composition is provided that has heat resistance sufficient for use as a hydrocarbon adsorbent and desorbs hydrocarbons slowly with respect to an increase in temperature. The composition includes an alkali metal and a zeolite having a YFI structure. A content of the alkali metal is 1 to 40 mass% based on a total mass of the composition, and a content of the zeolite having a YFI structure is 99 to 60 mass% based on the total mass of the composition.

CONTROL METHOD FOR REDUCTANT GENERATION DEVICE, EXHAUST PURIFICATION METHOD, REDUCTANT GENERATION SYSTEM, AND EXHAUST PURIFICATION SYSTEM
A method for controlling a reductant generation device 100, the reductant generation device 100 including: a sprayer 10 capable of spraying a reductant precursor 50; and a heater 20 comprising a ceramic substrate 21, the heater 20 being arranged on a downstream side of the sprayer 10 and capable of heating the reductant precursor 50 to generate a reductant 60. The method includes: a permeation step of spraying the reductant precursor 50 from the sprayer 10 and permeating the ceramic substrate 21 with the reductant precursor 50 when the heater is not heated; and after the permeation step, a heating step A of heating the reductant precursor 50 by the heater 20 and generating the reductant 60 while spraying the reductant precursor 50 from the sprayer 10.
Exhaust gas purifying catalyst
This exhaust gas purifying catalyst is provided with a substrate and a catalyst layer formed on a surface of the substrate. The catalyst layer contains zeolite particles that support a metal, and a rare earth element-containing compound that contains a rare earth element. The rare earth element-containing compound is added in such an amount that the molar ratio of the rare earth element relative to Si contained in the zeolite is 0.001 to 0.014 in terms of oxides.

Techniques to synthesize greenhouse gases
An apparatus for attachment to a tailpipe of a vehicle is disclosed herein. The apparatus includes a filter body, a honeycomb monolith, a locking collar and a removable front cover. The honeycomb monolith is composed of an adsorbent material or an absorbent material. Exhaust from the tailpipe of the vehicle is absorbed by the honeycomb monolith structure.
Filter device
An inner case being substantially cylindrical and being covered at an upper end is provided to cover a heater being substantially rod-shaped. A float being substantially plate-shaped and having substantially the same inner diameter as an inner diameter of the inner case is provided movably in the vertical direction in the inner case, and in the float, a hole through which the heater is inserted is formed. Gas is enclosed in a space surrounded by the inner case and the float. The length in the vertical direction of the inner case is smaller than the length in the vertical direction of the heater. In addition, when the float is positioned at a lower end of the inner case, a gap exists between the float and a bottom surface of a filter case.
