BREWERY AND STEAM VENT ODOR CONTROL SYSTEM
20230074097 · 2023-03-09 ·

The invention disclosed herein relates to an odor control system including features to allow a media scrubber to function to treat a humid, or saturated, or superheated exhaust stream. In some embodiments, the system disclosed herein can capture a humid, or saturated, or superheated exhaust stream, such as from a kettle vent, and dilute the exhaust with fresh air to lower the temperature of the combined air flow below its dew point. Water is drained from the system as it condenses in the system. The combined air flow can be further diluted and/or treated according to embodiments disclosed herein such that the exhaust stream, after having excess water removed, will have a relative humidity (RH) value enabling it to be run through a media scrubber.

Use of aminals to remove acid gases from fluid gas streams

An aminal compound is injected into a fluid gas stream including at least one acid gas to reduce the amount of acid gas in the fluid gas stream. Having two reactive sites present in the aminal compound enables a much higher efficiency of acid gas capture than a simple alkanolamine, which isn't effective, for example, under dilute circumstances.

Catalyst capable of simultaneously removing COS and H2S in garbage gasification and preparation method thereof

The disclosure discloses a catalyst capable of simultaneously removing COS and H.sub.2S in garbage gasification and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of preparation of desulfurization catalysts. The method includes the following steps: pretreating an SBA-15 molecular sieve with a templating agent unremoved, which primarily includes the steps of removing the templating agent and introducing halogen atoms to modify the molecular sieve; then synthesizing an active component solution; and finally introducing active components into channels of the pretreated molecular sieve via surface tension by adopting an impregnation method, performing washing and drying, and performing calcining under an N.sub.2 atmosphere, so as to obtain the catalyst. The catalyst prepared according to the present disclosure can load the active components in fixed positions inside and outside the channels, and the components are easy to obtain, thereby having the advantages of low cost and good desulfurization effects.

Process for purifying hydrogen gas for use in fuel cells

The invention generally relates to a process for purifying a hydrogen gas for use in a fuel cell. The process involves taking a hydrogen feed stream from a high-pressure tank and passing it through a purifier comprising an adsorbent to provide a purified hydrogen stream which is sent to a fuel cell. A particular adsorbent which can be used is a metal-organic framework composition. The adsorbent can be housed in a device such as a canister or cartridge having an inlet and outlet port.
