COT FASTENING SYSTEM HAVING A CRASH STABLE, COT FASTENER TRACK AND METHOD OF AFFIXING AN EMERGENCY COT THERETO
Cot fastening systems (2) which fix and hold an emergency cot (14) to a crash stable cot fastener track (12) provided within an emergency vehicle (8). The track (12) has a longitudinal length with front (85) and back ends (80), open side rails (28, 30) longitudinally extending between the ends, and a channel (86, 88) centrally located between the rails. The side rails (28, 30) align, accommodate and guide a forward fixture (4) of the cot towards the front end (85) as the cot (14) is rolled within the vehicle to retain the forward fixture (4) adjacent the front end (85) at least vertically and laterally. The channel (86, 88) accommodates and retains a rearward fixture (6) adjacent the back end (80) at least vertically and laterally. A securing mechanism (70,102) releasably prevents removal of the forward fixture (4) from the open side rails and removal of the rearward fixture (6) from the channel (86, 88).
PERSONAL MOBILITY
A personal mobility may include a body provided with an upper plate portion; a wheel connected to the body to be driven; and a battery provided in the body or the wheel and configured to provide driving energy to the wheel, wherein the mobility is configured to be stored in or drawn out of a vehicle, and the battery is configured to be charged or discharged in association with a high-voltage battery of the vehicle.
Patient Transport Apparatus Having A Cable Assembly
A patient transport apparatus including a base, a litter, a lift mechanism, a litter extension and a cable assembly. The lift mechanism is interposed between the base and the litter and includes an actuator for moving the litter relative to the base. The litter extension moves relative to a patient support surface of the litter between a plurality of litter extension positions. The cable assembly includes a cable and a cable housing. The cable translates mechanical force applied to a user interface of the letter extension to the actuator. The cable housing is operatively attached to the litter and defines an inner cavity, a guide disposed within the inner cavity. The cable housing retains at least a portion of the cable as the litter extension moves between the plurality of litter extension positions.
APPARATUS FOR USE IN ASSISTING A PERSON WITH LIMITED MOBILITY IN ENTERING AND EXITING AN AIRCRAFT
An apparatus for use in boarding a person onto a seat of an aircraft or vehicle, or lowering a person into a pool, which includes a ramp, a top mount, a bottom mount, a carriage assembly, and a mechanism for moving the carriage assembly. The ramp has a first end and a second end. The top mount is removably attached to the first end and has a mounting panel and base support. The mounting panel is pivotally connected to the base support and configured to be locked in a pivoted position. The bottom mount is removably attached to the second end. The carriage assembly is removably mountable on to the ramp. The hoist assembly is configured to move the carriage assembly up and down the ramp.
Aeromedical Ambulance Equipment and Methods
The invention provides aeromedical ambulance equipment. In some embodiments, the equipment includes a module base comprising a mount assembly having an unlocked configuration and a locked configuration. The mount assembly preferably can be adjusted between the unlocked and locked configurations by a tool-free operation. In addition, certain embodiments provide a module base having an advantageous system for releasably locking a stretcher onto the module base.
Wheelchair lift systems
A wheelchair lift system for a vehicle comprises: a platform for accommodating a wheelchair; a lifting arm; a hydraulic circuit including a hydraulic actuator arranged to act on the lifting arm to raise and lower the platform; a barrier mounted on the platform and pivotable between a raised position and a lowered position; a plurality of sensors each arranged to generate a sensor output; a user input device arranged to generate control signals to control operation of the lift; and a control unit. The control unit is arranged to receive the control signals and to receive the sensor output from each of the sensors and to control the hydraulic circuit thereby to control of the lift to perform a number of different operations. The control unit is also operable in a fully operational mode and a safety mode and is arranged to perform a plurality of checks on the sensor outputs, and to record a result of each of the checks, and to switch between the fully operational mode and the safety mode based on the results.

Patient support apparatus with powered unloading dynamic weigh adjustment
A system for loading a patient transport apparatus into a vehicle is described. The system includes a loading and unloading system including a track and a trolley supporting a receiver movable between locked and unlocked configurations. The system also includes a patient transport apparatus for attachment to the loading and unloading system including a base, a litter, and a lift mechanism to facilitate arranging the litter at different heights relative to the base with an actuator movable between fully-retracted and fully-extended configurations, a coupler for engaging the receiver to secure the patient transport apparatus, first and second sensors configured to output a first signal and second signal and a controller to determine a target lift configuration during unloading from the emergency based on first and second values and to drive the actuator to the target lift configuration to limit relative movement between the patient transport apparatus and the trolley.
MOBILITY AID SYSTEM
The presently disclosed subject matter concerns an accommodating door configured to be connected to a vehicle body, and a support cradle. The accommodating door has an inside face which defines an accommodation space configured for accommodating the support cradle. The support cradle in turn is configured to support a mobility aid device within a support compartment thereof.
LIFT ASSEMBLY FOR A PASSENGER VEHICLE
A wheelchair lift for a passenger vehicle such as a passenger bus, a motorcoach, or a class A motorhome. The wheelchair lift includes a housing having sidewalls and a plurality if bearings and a carriage supporting one or more of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components. A lift assembly is coupled to the carriage and includes a first rail and a second rail supported by the plurality of bearings. A first scissor leg assembly is coupled to the first rail and a second scissor leg assembly is coupled to the second rail, wherein each of the first scissor leg assembly and the second scissor leg assembly move between an expanded and a collapsed condition. A platform is coupled to the first the second scissor leg assemblies, wherein movement of the first scissor leg assembly and second scissor leg assembly between the expanded and collapsed condition adjusts a position of the platform.
