A massage system includes a frame, a first massage mechanism connected to a first region of the frame to massage a first portion of a user, a second massage mechanism connected to a second region of the frame to massage a second portion of a user, and memory and a processor. The memory is programmed with instructions executable by the processor to determine a massage plan for massaging the at least one of first portion and the second portion.

Vibrating massage roller

A process of massaging a subject is provided that includes the provision of a vibratory massage roller having a casing with a casing surface extending over a length of the vibratory roller. A motor in included in the housing and is electrically coupled to a power source. The power source is energized to induce a vibratory amplitude to the surface that varies less than 30 amplitude percent across the central 70 percent of the length. The massage roller is contacted with the subject to massage the subject.

THERAPEUTIC VIBRATING ROLLER
20180228691 · 2018-08-16 ·

A portable vibrating roller includes an outer roller structure having a plurality of grooves and ribs. A hollow cylindrical bore extends longitudinally through the shell. A vibration system having a first end cap and a second end cap fits within the bore. A battery positioned within the shell near one end cap provides electrical power to a motor positioned within the shell near the other end cap to cause the motor to rotate an output shaft at a plurality of angular velocities to rotate an eccentric mass located approximately midway between the two end caps. The rotating eccentric mass causes vibration. A motor control circuit receives input power from a battery and selectively provides output power to the motor in response to the operation of a switch on the first end cap. The output power is varied to control the angular velocity of the output shaft of the motor and to thereby control a frequency of vibration caused by the eccentric mass.

Massage Device for Acting on the Spinal Muscles of Three Regions of the Spine

The invention relates to physiotherapy and may be used in health and fitness exercises. A massage device for acting on the spinal muscles comprises: interchangeable massage elements and a body with sockets, into which said elements can be mounted; said body having three sides, each of which permits mounting of said body on a horizontal surface; wherein the planes tangential to each of the sides and coincident with the horizontal surface that provides for the mounting of each of the sides together form a dihedral angle of approximately 6015 degrees, with all of the dihedral angles adding up to a total of 180 degrees; the sides of the body are connected to each other by means of three edge surfaces, each of which has lateral portions for the paraspinal areas of the spine and a medial portion for the spinal column, which is recessed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the body relative to said lateral portions; the sockets are situated in the lateral portions of each of the edge areas; and the three edge surfaces together with the massage elements mounted in the sockets form massage surfaces that correspond to the position of the spinal organs to be massaged in three regions of the spine. The interchangeability of the massage elements and the use of a range of interchangeable massage heads of different shapes, sizes and firmness provide for precise control of the force, depth and direction of the therapeutic mechanical action to be applied to the paravertebral muscles.
