Crossflow impact device
A beating device (1) for inactivating insects in a pourable feedstuff or foodstuff, with a housing (2), which has at least one inlet opening (3) and at least one outlet opening (4) for the material to be treated. A drum (6) is arranged in the housing (2) and rotatably about an axis of rotation (5). A plurality of blade elements (9) of a first type extend approximately parallel to the axis of rotation (5) and have a beating surface (10) arranged between two end parts (7, 8) of the drum (8). The drum is partially (8) circumferentially surrounded by a wall (11) of the housing (2) and the at least one inlet opening (3) and the at least one outlet opening (4) are formed in the wall (11).
SHREDDING DEVICE FOR SHREDDING MATERIAL TO BE SHREDDED
A shredding device for use in the field of recycling and waste processing has a shredding roller having a basic roller body rotatable about an axis and a feed means for feeding material to the shredding roller, wherein shredding tools are provided on the basic roller body, which are spaced apart from one another and are arranged in rows extending in the longitudinal direction of the basic roller body and extending obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction. A larger quantity of material is produced at the first end than at the second end of the basic roller body, wherein directly adjacent shredding tools of a row are arranged such that the shredding tool facing the second end is set back in the direction of rotation relative to the shredding tool facing the first end and/or wherein different distances are provided between directly adjacent shredding tools of a row.
Methods for reducing the size of cuttings in oil and gas drilling operations
A method of reducing the size of cuttings to fine particles includes obtaining a mixture comprising at least cuttings and drilling fluid and providing a crushing machine including an inlet and a first stage. The first stage includes a first housing, a first rotating hammer with a plurality of blades disposed within the first housing that spins on an axis powered by a motor, a first grate plate, a first water injector coupled to the first housing, and a second stage that is substantially similar to the first stage. The method further includes crushing the cuttings with the first rotating hammer to form reduced-size cuttings and injecting water into the first housing via the first water injector, thereby flowing crushed cuttings through toward the second stage. The method is repeated in the second stage such that the reduced size cuttings become fine particles and flow into a waste pit.

Apparatus for homogenization and separation of substance mixtures composed of particles
Apparatus (1) for homogenization and separation of substance mixtures composed of particles, having two or more material discharges, wherein a rotating drum (5) is provided, which comminutes and homogenizes the substance mixture, on the one hand, and accelerates the particles in a predetermined direction.

CONVEYING ARRANGEMENT WITH KNIVES WHICH CAN BE PIVOTED VERTICALLY AND SHIFTED LATERALLY
A conveying arrangement conveys loose material in a conveying direction, in particular agricultural material. Several knives of a cutting assembly are mounted below a cutting area guiding surface. The material is first conveyed along the cutting area guiding surface and afterwards along a further guiding surface. Both guiding surfaces are mechanically supported by a connecting assembly. A positioning mechanism can pivot the connecting assembly upwards and downwards. This pivotal movement causes both guiding surfaces to be moved upwards and downwards. The cutting area guiding surface together with the cutting assembly can be shifted laterally, i.e. perpendicular to the conveying direction, and is guided during this lateral movement.

Comminution device
A comminution device for mechanically comminuting material conglomerates consisting of materials of varying density and/or consistency, including a comminution chamber having a supply side with a supply device above the comminution chamber and a discharge side, which comminution chamber is enclosed by a circular cylindrical and/or conical, downwardly widened comminution chamber wall and has at least two portions in succession in the axial direction, in each of which at least one rotor is arranged coaxial with the comminution chamber, each rotor having a rotor shaft and having striking tools which extend substantially radially into the comminution chamber at least during operation, the rotors having opposite directions of rotation in at least two successive portions, deflection ribs being arranged on the inside of the comminution chamber wall at axial intervals and/or the radius of the comminution chamber wall increases from top to bottom.
DISTRIBUTOR PLATE FOR VSI CRUSHER ROTOR
An abrasion wear resistant distributor plate assembly is mountable to protect a rotor within a vertical shaft impact crusher for material fed into the rotor. A distributor plate is configured to be resistant to the operational abrasive wear resulting from contact with a flow of crushable feed material through the crusher rotor. Attachment components are provided around a perimeter of the plate to facilitate mounting and decoupling of the plate at the rotor during servicing or replacement procedures.
