The first cavity includes a first pasty cement component and the separate second cavity includes a second pasty cement component, two delivery plungers close the two cavities on the side of the cavities opposite the cartridge head. At least two cutting edges are disposed on the front side of the sleeve-shaped connecting means facing the cartridge head, such that the at least two cutting edges cut off the partition wall from the cylindrical inner wall of the cartridge as at least one cut-off strip when the delivery plungers are advanced towards the cartridge head in the cavities with the connecting means, and wherein the sleeve-shaped connecting means comprises a deflecting surface which is inclined to the axis of the connecting means which, on advancing the connecting means, presses the at least one cut-off strip of the partition wall towards the inner wall of the cartridge.
Storage and mixing system for pasty cement components and method therefor
A storage and mixing system for pasty two-component polymethyl methacrylate bone cements comprises a tubular cartridge with a cylindrical interior, a cartridge head that closes one end of the tubular cartridge, a partition wall axially disposed in the cylindrical interior and dividing the cylindrical interior into two spatially separate cavities, the first cavity including a first pasty cement component and the second cavity including a second pasty cement component, two delivery plungers disposed movably in the two cavities and connected via a connecting means, wherein a wedge or cone having a cutting edge on the front side thereof facing the cartridge head is disposed on the connecting means, such that said cutting edge cuts open the partition wall when the delivery pistons are advanced towards the cartridge head and the wedge or cone presses the cut open parts of the partition wall towards the inner wall of the cartridge.
Pencil gun
Embodiments included herein are directed towards an apparatus that may be used to dispense a fluid. The apparatus may include a housing, wherein the housing includes a first end and a motor, wherein the first end is configured to be coupled to a syringe. The motor may be configured to be operatively connected to a drive tube, wherein at least a portion of the drive tube is configured to extend from and retract into an opening in the first end of the housing in response to the motor. One or more of the motor and the drive tube may be rotationally fixed to the housing. A first end of the drive tube may be configured to be coupled to a piston of the syringe.
APPLICATOR SYRINGE
Implementations of an applicator syringe are provided. In some implementations, the applicator syringe may be configured to dispense a lubricant from a dispensing needle thereof. In some implementations, the applicator syringe may be configured so that the plunger shaft and the dispensing needle are removable when not in use. In some implementations, when the applicator syringe has been disassembled, the dispensing needle may be stored within the barrel of the applicator syringe and the plunger shaft secured about the exterior of the barrel. In some implementations, the applicator syringe may comprise a barrel having a finger flange, a plunger positioned within the interior chamber of the barrel, a plunger shaft configured to urge the plunger forward, a dispensing needle that can be removably secured to the front end of the barrel, a removable cap, and a barrel plug.
Piston driven one shot grease dispenser
The device and method are for one shot greasing of tractor trailer fifth wheels and other structures. The device has an upper tube and a lower tube where the upper tube acts as a piston to push down on the lower tube to dispense a grease supply. The lower tube bottom, or a bottom cap connected thereto, has a plurality of dispensing orifices. Preferred embodiments include a stop mechanism to prevent relative movement of the upper tube and lower tube prior to dispensing, and a removable seal on the bottom that prevents grease release until the seal is removed.
Liquid material discharge device for discharging a fixed amount of liquid material
A discharge device capable of suppressing pressure fluctuation of a compressed gas supplied to a container in which a liquid material is stored. The device includes a storage container in which a liquid material is stored; a discharge port through which the liquid material is discharged; a pressure control valve that adjusts a pressure of a compressed gas supplied from an external compressed gas source to a desired level; a discharge valve that establishes or cuts off communication between the pressure control valve and the storage container; a control device that controls operation of the discharge valve; a first flow line connecting the pressure control valve and the discharge valve; and a second flow line connecting the discharge valve and the storage container. The device further includes a third flow line branched from the first flow line, and a leak mechanism connected to the third flow line.
Roof coating applicator method of use
A disposable roof coating applicator includes a nozzle that is attached to a collar. The nozzle and collar are selectively attachable to a body that has an interior space and is formed by at least one side wall having an exterior wall and an interior wall. The coating applicator also includes a plunger that is movably disposed within the interior space of the body. The coating applicator may include a locking mechanism about the applicator's collar that selectively engages a stud provided on the body's exterior surface, selectively locking and unlocking the nozzle and collar assembly to the body. The disposable roof coating applicator is configured and otherwise designed to take in, store and transport approximately ? to 2 gallons of viscous material to a roof seam before neatly and uniformly expelling the viscous material to the seam or joint.
ROTATIONAL NEEDLE
An apparatus for rotating a needle comprising an inner sleeve securable to a syringe barrel, the inner sleeve having an inner sleeve passage extending therethrough, an outer sleeve rotatably supported by the inner sleeve, the outer sleeve having an outer sleeve passage extending therethrough in fluidic communication with the inner sleeve passage, the outer sleeve having a needle receptacle adapted to receive and operably couple a needle thereon, and a rotational energy-storing device, operably connected to the inner and outer sleeve so as to provide a rotational torque therebetween. A method for rotating a needle comprising rotating the outer sleeve relative to the inner sleeve so as to store rotational energy within the rotational energy-storing device extending between the inner and outer sleeves and releasing the outer sleeve such that the needle rotates relative to the syringe barrel.
