The working portion includes a cutting edge arranged asymmetrically relative to the tool axis with a leading tooth disposed at one end of the cutting edge at a first distance from the rear end, a trailing tooth disposed on an opposite end of the cutting edge at a second distance from the rear end that is less than the first distance, and a plurality of intermediate teeth between leading tooth and the trailing tooth, each disposed less than or equal to the first distance and greater than or equal to the second distance from the rear end, the cutting edge slanted at an acute angle to a line perpendicular to the tool axis.
AN APPARATUS FOR PULVERIZING MATERIAL INCLUDING A STATIONARY HOUSING
The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) for pulverizing a material. The apparatus comprises a stationary housing (3) having an interior space and at least one interior wall facing the interior space. At least one sawblade (9) is disposed in the interior space and arranged rotatable with respect to the stationary housing (3). The at least one sawblade (9) has a periphery (12) provided with a plurality of cutting teeth (15) for cutting the material and a plurality of collecting notches (17) for collecting the cut material. The apparatus comprises an inlet opening (19) for feeding material to the interior space, and an outlet opening (21) for dispatching pulverized material from the interior space. The interior wall (7) of the housing is provided with a plurality of recesses (23) facing the periphery (12) of the sawblade (9), arranged to receive the cut material from the collecting notches (17) of the sawblade (9), and to revert the cut material to the periphery (12) of the sawblade (9) so that the material will be cut multiple times before it is dispatched from the apparatus. The interior wall (7) surrounds a main part of the periphery (12) of the at least one sawblade (9), and the inlet opening (19) and the outlet opening (21) are arranged in the interior wall (7) and in direct communication with the interior space (5) so that the material enters and leaves the interior space (5) during one revolution of the at least one sawblade (9).
Tooth formations and arrangement for a saw blade
A saw blade can include a blade body having a cutting edge defined by multiple teeth. The teeth can be disposed in a repeating pattern including a raker tooth, a first set tooth having a light offset to a right side of the blade body, a second set tooth having a heavy offset to the left side of the blade body, a second raker tooth, a third set tooth having a light offset to the left side, and a fourth set tooth having a heavy offset to the right side of the blade body. Each tooth can include a tip, rake face, gullet having a gullet depth, and one or more clearance surfaces. The pitch distance and gullet depth of the heavy offset teeth can be less than the pitch distances and gullet depths of the remaining teeth to provide an increased amount of strength for the heavy offset teeth.
APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR REMOVING AND INSTALLING A SLASHER TOOTH IN A SAW BLADE
An apparatus, system, and method for removing and installing slasher teeth in a saw are provided. The apparatus has a first body and a second body having a space formed therebetween, wherein a slasher tooth is positionable within the space. At least one locator pin is connected to at least one of the first and second body, the at least one locator pin contactable to the slasher tooth to locate the first and second body relative to the slasher tooth. At least one engagement device is positioned on one or both of the first and second bodies, the at least one engageable device being actuatable, whereby actuation of the at least one engagement device moves it relative to the first and second bodies and into the space where the at least one engagement device contacts a rivet positioned between the slasher tooth and a saw body.
HARVESTING KNIFE AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
A harvesting knife has a base body, which is configured to be applied in a manner rotating in a machine around a drive rotational axis allocated to said base body, and has a plurality of teeth on its circumference
wherein, prior to a first application, at least one of the teeth has at least one cutter formed thereon.
SAW BLADE AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SAW BLADE
A saw blade includes a body having a thickness, an attachment portion formed on the body, and a plurality of cutting teeth formed on the body. The attachment portion is configured to connect the saw blade to a power tool. Each cutting tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth includes a tip defining a plane that extends along the thickness of the body, a rake face extending from the tip, and a relief face extending from the tip opposite the rake face. A first cutting tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth is set in a first direction relative to the body. A second cutting tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth is set in a second direction opposite the first direction relative to the body. The planes defined by the tips of the first and second cutting teeth are generally parallel.
APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR REMOVING AND INSTALLING A SLASHER TOOTH IN A SAW BLADE
An apparatus, system, and method for withdrawing slasher teeth from a slasher saw are provided. The apparatus has a handle, and a forked portion is connected to one end of the handle. A gap is formed between two prongs of the forked portion. A floating shank positioner is positioned at least partially within the gap. At least one common hole is formed through the two prongs of the forked portion. When the slasher tooth is connected to the at least one common hole, pivoting of the handle removes the slasher tooth from the pocket of the saw.
Harvesting knife and method for the production thereof
A harvesting knife has a base body, which is configured to be applied in a manner rotating in a machine around a drive rotational axis allocated to said base body, and has a plurality of teeth on its circumference wherein, prior to a first application, at least one of the teeth has at least one cutter formed thereon.
Saw blade and system and method for manufacturing a saw blade
A saw blade blank includes a body having an edge and an attachment portion formed on the body. The attachment portion is configured to connect to a power tool. A first portion of the edge is set in a first direction relative to the body. A second portion of the edge is set in a second direction opposite the first direction relative to the body. No cutting teeth are formed on the edge of the body.
