Polymeric Paste Compositions for Drug Delivery

This invention provides compositions for controlled localized release of one or more drugs within a subject. More particularly, described herein are compositions comprising a hydrophobic water-insoluble polymer, a low molecular weight biocompatible glycol, and one or more drugs. The compositions described herein may also optionally include a di-block copolymer and/or a swelling agent.

Provided are novel biocompatible copolymers, compositions comprising the copolymers, and methods of using the copolymers. The copolymers are non-toxic and typically have an LCST below 37° C. Compositions comprising the copolymers can be used for wound treatment, as a cellular growth matrix or niche and for injection into cardiac tissue to repair and mechanically support damaged tissue. The copolymers comprise numerous ester linkages so that the copolymers are erodible in situ. Degradation products of the copolymers are soluble and non-toxic. The copolymers can be amine-reactive so that they can conjugate with proteins, such as collagen. Active ingredients, such as drugs, can be incorporated into compositions comprising the copolymers.

Hydrogels with biodegradable crosslinking

Hydrogels that degrade under appropriate conditions of pH and temperature by virtue of crosslinking compounds that cleave through an elimination reaction are described. The hydrogels may be used for delivery of various agents, such as pharmaceuticals.

Amphiphilic block copolymer composition having enhanced micelle stability, and pharmaceutical composition comprising same

The present invention relates to an amphiphilic block copolymer composition which provides enhanced stability to a micelle formed by an amphiphilic block copolymer in an aqueous phase.

Drug delivery system and methods of use

A drug delivery system (DDS) including a hydrophobic porous scaffold and a hydrogel having a hydrophilic polymer and one or more biologic drugs provides sustained zero-order release of the one or more biologic drugs. Also provided herein are methods of making and using a DDS including a hydrophobic porous scaffold and a hydrogel having a hydrophilic polymer and one or more biologic drugs.

COMPOSITION COMPRISING HIGHLY-CONCENTRATED ALPHA1 PROTEINASE INHIBITOR AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING THEREOF

Compositions include highly-concentrated Alpha-1 Proteinase Inhibitor (A1PI) in a concentration greater than or equal to 100 mg/ml. Pharmaceutical compositions can be prepared from these compositions. The pharmaceutical compositions can be suitable for subcutaneous administration. The highly-concentrated A1PI solutions can be obtained by single-pass tangential flow filtration (SPTFF).

POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE CO-POLYMER EMULSIONS

The present disclosure is directed to a class of fluorinated copolymers, such as PTFE copolymers, that can be dissolved in low toxicity solvents, such as Class III Solvents, and that enable the creation of stable water-in-solvent emulsions comprising the fluorinated copolymers dissolved in a low toxicity solvents and a hydrophilic agent (e.g., a therapeutic agent) dissolved in an aqueous solvent, such as water or saline.
