Operating key for stationary and driven tool holders
The invention relates to a device and method for a tool change in a driven or stationary tool holder using at least one industrial robot. A drive device for clamping and releasing the tool in a tool holding fixture of the tool holder prevents incorrect operation and can be operated manually or by the handling robot and can be actively locked to the tool holder.
Tool head with groove for removal from lug
Disclosed is a tool head, such as a socket, having an annular groove that allows gripping of the tool head to remove the tool head from a tool having a lug, such as ratchet, torque or impact wrenches. The groove is spaced from the drive engagement end of the socket for improved gripping performance. The groove dimensions were determined to improve gripping performance as well. For example, the groove can have a depth of 0.020″-0.050″, preferably 0.020″-0.030″. More broadly, the groove can have a depth of 5.0%-15.0%, and preferably 5.0%-10.5%, of the drive end outer diameter. The groove can, either alone or in combination with the above ranges, have a width of 0.25-0.47″, preferably 0.29-0.43″. The groove can, either alone or in combination with the above ranges, begin at a distance of 0.070-0.160″, preferably 0.090-0.140″, and have an end of groove farthest from the end of the socket of 0.32-0.63″, preferably 0.38-0.57″.
Container
A container includes a handheld body, a positioning rod, and a storage assembly. The handheld body defines a storage space. The positioning rod has at least one positioning part. The storage assembly includes a push-pull rod, a storage base, and a positioning member. The push-pull rod is operable to drive the positioning member to move therewith between a storage position, where the positioning member separably engages the at least one positioning part so as to position the storage base in the storage space, and an accessing position, where the positioning member is disengaged from the at least one positioning part.
CLAMPING TOOL WITH INTERCHANGEABLE ARM
A clamping tool is provided comprising a body, containing control circuits and electronic processing circuitry and having, at one end, a handle for gripping by an operator making the clamping, and on the other end, an arm. The arm comprises, at its free end, a seat that can be alternatively pluggable to a plurality of inserts suitable for engaging the tool with a corresponding type and/or dimension of a mechanical member on which the tool is configured to operate to perform a clamping operation. Sensor means are provided on the arm for detecting tightening conditions exerted on the mechanical member. Furthermore, a microprocessor electronic card is provided on the are for receiving analogic signals from the sensor means, converting the signals into digital format, and handling transfer of the signals in digital format to the electronic processing circuitry.
Modular tool bit holder system
A modular tool bit holder system includes an angle tool bit holder, and a flexible shaft tool bit holder. The angle tool bit holder includes a housing containing a first input shaft, a first angle gear rotatably drivable about a first axis, a second angle gear, and a first bit holder rotatably drivable by the first angle gear about a second axis at an angle to the first axis. The flexible shaft tool bit holder includes a second input shaft, a flexible intermediate shaft rotatably drivable by the second input shaft, and a second tool bit holder rotatably drivable by the flexible intermediate shaft. The angle tool bit holder and the flexible shaft tool bit holder are operable separately or in combination. A connection assembly is configured to non-rotatably couple the angle tool bit holder and the flexible shaft tool bit holder when they are operable in combination.
TOOL CONNECTING ROD
A tool connecting rod is provided, including: a main body, a sleeve member and a magnetic mechanism. The main body includes a driving portion and an assembling portion opposite to the driving portion, and the assembling portion has an assembling hole extending in an axial direction. The sleeve member is non-rotatably disposed on the assembling portion and includes at least one sleeving hole configured to be connected with a connecting member. The magnetic mechanism is disposed within the assembling hole and includes a magnetic member penetrating into the sleeve member and an elastic member abutted against and between the main body and the magnetic member. In a circumferential direction of the magnetic member, a first gap is defined between the sleeve member and the magnetic member so that the sleeve member and the magnetic member are movable radially relative to each other.
EXPANDED-STRETCH RETAINING DEVICE WITH EXPANDED SIZE RANGE
A retaining device to secure a socket to an anvil using provided socket holes and anvil hole, including an O-ring and an integral projecting member extending inwardly from the O-ring, the projecting member having a cross-sectional diameter that conforms with the diameter of the holes in the socket and anvil. The O-ring, though integrally formed with the projecting member, is formed at a reduced cross-sectional diameter so that the overall retaining device can be stretched onto a wider range of socket sizes. The preferred projecting member includes a full-length crush gauge that is positioned in at least one of the juxtapositions between the socket holes and the anvil hole.
Deep-Hole Socket Driving Shank Assembly
A driving shank assembly includes a tube, a drive head, a connector, and two quick release nuts. The tube has two enlarged portions each having a mounting recess and an external thread. Each of the enlarged portions has a plurality of slits and a plurality of elastic clamping pieces between the slits. The drive head has a driving recess and a mounting shaft. The mounting shaft of the drive head is inserted into the mounting recess of the tube. The connector has a mounting shaft and a connecting shank. The mounting shaft of the connector is inserted into the mounting recess of the tube. The connecting shank of the connector has a retaining groove for mounting an actuating tool. Each of the quick release nuts has an internal thread screwed onto the external thread of the tube.
Disassembling tool and battery module using disassembling tool
