The drive spindles are rotatably mounted and held in a drive block and have a drive portion at each end, which protrudes from the drive block. The drive sections of the drive spindles serve to bear the torque-applying tools on one side of the drive block, in which drive block the pistons of the piston drives are routed in cylinder housings, such that said pistons are translationally displaceable in both directions. The piston rods are kinematically connected to the ratchet lever for transferring a forward stroke movement and a return stroke movement to respective ratchet levers with pawls. The drive block has at least one fluid distribution cavity in its center area, into which open multiple fluid ducts located in the drive block, wherein a fluid connection between the fluid distribution cavity and a first fluid input of a cylinder housing is established by each fluid duct. A fluid distributor with an annular duct connected to a fluid supply duct is arranged on a flat side of the drive block as a fluid distribution cavity, into which multiple fluid ducts open, wherein a fluid connection between the fluid distribution cavity and a second fluid input of a cylinder housing is established by each fluid duct.

Torque Structure

A torque structure includes a first body, a second body, an elastic member, and a locking set. The first body has a receiving chamber. The second body is provided with a drive portion, a plurality of first securing portions, and a first end face. The locking set includes a locking member, a plurality of securing members, a plurality of balls, and a washer. The locking member is provided with a pivot portion, a plurality of second securing portions, and a second end face. The securing members are mounted in the first securing portions and the second securing portions. The washer is mounted on the locking member elastically biased between the first end face and the second end face to space the second body from the locking member. The washer eliminates a gap between the locking member and the second body.

Torque limiter

A torque limiter for a surgical screwdriver that includes an outer sleeve (1); a snap sleeve (3), which is arranged in and rotates with the outer sleeve; a rolling element cage (6), which is arranged in the snap sleeve; an inner sleeve (10), which is arranged in the rolling element cage; and a force-transmitting shaft (11), which is received in and rotates with the inner sleeve. The inner wall of the outer sleeve is provided with recesses (8) that extend parallel to a rotational axis of the force-transmitting shaft. The rolling element cage is provided with a plurality of rolling element receiving areas (5), each of which holds a rolling element (4), and with a number of noses (7), which engage into the recesses. The inner sleeve is provided with a plurality of notches (9), which extend in a V-shape parallel to the axis and which receive the rolling elements.

SCREW-TIGHTENING TOOL
20230124236 · 2023-04-20 · ·

A screw-tightening tool includes a housing, a motor, a spindle, a first clutch and a second clutch. The first clutch is operably coupled to an output shaft and the spindle, and is configured to transmit power from the output shaft to the spindle only when the output shaft is rotationally driven in a first direction. The second clutch is operably coupled to the output shaft and the spindle, and is configured to transmit the power from the output shaft to the spindle only when the output shaft is rotationally driven in a second direction. An output rotation speed of the spindle when the power is transmitted via the first clutch is different from an output rotation speed of the spindle when the power is transmitted via the second clutch, in response to the same rotation speed of the output shaft of the motor.

TORQUE APPLICATION APPARATUS

An apparatus for applying torque to a body includes a base defining an inner chamber. The apparatus includes a plurality of pins supported by base and disposed in the inner chamber, the plurality of pins moveable relative to the base between engaged positions and disengaged positions. The apparatus includes a trigger actuatable to move at least one of the plurality of pins to the disengaged position.

A torque wrench for multiple bolts or nuts comprises multiple drive spindles that are arranged annularly around a center and are equipped or able to be equipped at the end with respective torque-applying tools, and a ratchet drive, associated with each drive spindle and driven by means of a hydraulic piston drive, for driving the drive spindles. The torque wrench for multiple bolts or nuts also comprises an actuator unit for inducing a rotary movement in the drive spindles, having an actuating wheel mounted rotatably about the axis of the center of the annular arrangement of the drive spindles as drive wheel, which drives respective output wheels fitted on the drive spindles, wherein the driving movement of the actuating wheel is transmitted to the drive spindle via respective torque limiters.

Release mechanism for a torque tool

A release mechanism for an electronically triggered torque tool to tighten a screw or a similar fastener triggers at a target torque. The release mechanism comprises a drive body and a main body, which rotate around a common axis to transfer a torque. A locking mechanism couples the drive body and the main body to transfer a torque. Measuring and evaluating means to measure and evaluate the torque transferred are provided, whereby a signaling device activates the locking mechanism to decouple the drive body from the main body upon reaching a target torque.

Installation tool for a wire thread insert

The installation tool for a wire thread insert includes: a drive unit which provides a switchable rotation movement between a first and a second direction, a mandrel body with a drive section for rotating the mandrel body and with a drive section for rotating the mandrel body and with a thread section onto which the wire thread insert can be screwed or rotated on, an installation blade as well as a torque clutch consisting of a form-fit and force-fit clutch upper and lower parts engaging each other, of which the upper part is connected with the drive unit in a torque-proof manner and the lower part is connected with the mandrel body in a torque-proof manner. With a decoupled relative rotation between the clutch parts, caused by exceeding a limit torque between the clutch parts, relative movement between the mandrel body and the installation blade can be generated.
