CUTTING MECHANISM
There is disclosed a cutting mechanism (4) for a hair cutting apparatus (1), such as a shaving apparatus, comprising an outer cutting member (6) comprising a plurality of hair-entry openings (14) and an inner cutting member (8) comprising a plurality of cutting elements (18) each having a first cutting edge (20). The inner cutting member (8) is moveable with respect to the outer cutting member (6) so as to perform a cutting operation within a cutting region of the cutting mechanism. Adjacent hair-entry openings (14) are separated by a dividing element (16) comprising a cutting section (32) that lies within the cutting region and a non-cutting section (36) that is outside the cutting region. The non-cutting section comprises an inner wall (30) facing the inner cutting member (8) and a side wall (24) which is substantially perpendicular to the inner wall (30). A single chamfer (40) is provided between the inner wall (30) of the non-cutting region and the side wall (24) of the non-cutting region.
GRILLE FOR HAIR SHAVER
An objective of the present invention is to provide a grille for a hair shaver. In the present invention, by the combination of V-shaped hair shaving slots (including hair shaving long slots and hair shaving short slots) formed on the support surfaces at preset intervals, while contacting with the skin by the support surfaces, the hair is distributed to the hair shaving long slots and the hair shaving short slots on two sides, so that the hair is easier to enter a hair shaving region without escaping against the support surfaces. Accordingly, without reducing the effective hair shaving area, it is convenient for long hair to enter a hair shaving part, and a larger effective hair shaving length is obtained; and meanwhile, an effective support is provided for the skin, and the skin is prevented from being scratched by a blade.
Beard trimmer
A beard trimmer which has a handle, a motor and a removable head portion. The head portion has first long hair cutter unit for trimming the hair length that is provided with a non-foil type outer cutter and an inner cutter. A first comb unit is provided having comb elements located adjacent to multiple cutting slots of the outer cutter. One comb element is provided on each of the opposite sides of the outer cutter. Each comb element provided with a row of comb teeth and comb slots separating the comb teeth from another. Each of the comb teeth has a tooth skin contact surface which is located on an elevated upper level relative to a cutter skin contact surface of the outer cutter.
Guard element for use in a hair cutting unit
A guard element (4) for use in a hair cutting unit as a guard of a movable hair cutting element of the hair cutting unit has a disc-shaped base (10) and an annular wall (20) comprising a main part (21) extending from the periphery of the base (10), and a flange-shaped part (22) comprising an outwardly bent section (24). The annular wall (20) is reinforced on the basis of at least one of a design where a smallest inner periphery of the flange-shaped part (22) has a diameter which is smaller than a diameter of a largest inner periphery of a straight section (23) of the main part (21) connected to the periphery of the base (10), and a design where a free end section (25) of the flange-shaped part (22) is at least partially bent. In an embodiment, at least a portion of the main wall part (21) of the guard element (4) tapers inwardly in a direction along a central axis (11) of the disc-shaped base (10), from the disc-shaped base (10) to the flange-shaped wall part (22), such that the flange-shaped wall part (22) is enlarged with respect to a flange-shaped wall part (22) of a guard element (5) not having the tapered shape of the main wall part (21), resulting in increased stiffness and an increased resonant frequency of the guard element (4).
Rotary electric shaver
A rotary electric shaver includes an outer blade whose upper surface functions as annular shaving surfaces having multiple hair inlets formed therein, and an inner blade that has a small blade which rotates while coming into sliding contact with a lower surface of the outer blade. The small blade is formed so that an inner blade base plate is partially erected, and is disposed in at least two rows on a circumference close to an outer periphery and on a circumference close to an inner periphery. There is provided a movable inner blade that has a movable small blade which is vertically movable along a front end surface in a rotation direction of the small blade, with respect to the predetermined small blade.
SHAVER HEAD ASSEMBLY AND SHAVER
Embodiments provide a shaver head assembly including a shaver screen provided with outer fixed blades along an edge, an annular wall, and a blade holder that are coaxially provided. An outer peripheral entry groove is formed between adjacent outer fixed blades. The blade holder has outer movable blades. The outer movable blades and the outer fixed blades cooperate to cut the hairs. An annular collecting groove is formed between the edges of the shaver screen and the annular wall at an end approaching skins. The shaver head assembly further includes guide comb teeth provided on a periphery of the annular wall; the guide comb teeth extend substantially along an axial direction of the shaver screen. Each guide comb tooth has a tooth body for combing and shunting the hairs; a shunt channel is formed between adjacent guide comb teeth. The present disclosure can improve shaving efficiency and protect the skins.
Shaving apparatus with improved cap functionality
A shaver includes a housing and at least one cutter accommodated by the housing. Each cutter includes an external cutting member and an internal cutting member which is rotatable relative to the external cutting member about an axis of rotation. A locking system is configured and arranged to prevent rotation of the external cutting member relative to the housing. The locking system includes an annular array of N1 first arresting elements and N2 second arresting elements, wherein N1?8 and 1?N2?N1. The N2 second arresting elements are configured and arranged to be each engageable with a respective one of the N1 first arresting elements in any of N1 angular positions of the external cutting member about the axis of rotation relative to the housing.
ELECTRIC SHAVER WITH MUTUALLY DIFFERENT HAIR-CUTTING UNITS
Electric shaver (1) having a main body (3) and a shaving unit (5) coupled to the main body. The shaving unit has three hair-cutting units (9a, 9b, 9c) each having an external cutting member (11) with a skin-contact surface (13) with hair-entry openings (15) and an internal cutting member (17) which is rotatable relative to the external cutting member. The hair-cutting units each have at least one geometric parameter (w) that influences a hair-cutting process of each individual hair-cutting unit. The shaving unit can be positioned relative to the main body in at least two different angular positions about a central axis (37) of the shaving unit. A value of the geometric parameter of at least one of the hair-cutting units is different from the values of the geometric parameter of the other hair-cutting units.
Clippers for nose and ear hairs
The present invention relates to motorized clippers for hairs growing in the nose and ear cavities, comprising a shaving head with a moving blade (5) and a stationary blade (6), the stationary blade having slots (7) for penetration of the hairs on the front face (2) and on the side face (3) viewed in the direction of introduction of the shaving head into the cavity to be clipped, and said stationary blade also comprising slots for the penetration of hairs on the rear face (4) allowing cutting also of the hairs during withdrawal of the shaving head from the cavity to be clipped.
Blade set for hair cutting appliance and method for its manufacture
A stationary blade for a blade set of an electrically operated hair cutting appliance includes first and second walls, where each wall has a first surface, a second surface facing away from the first surface, and a laterally extending leading edge having a plurality of laterally spaced apart longitudinally extending projections. The first surfaces of the first and second walls face each other, at least at their leading edges, while corresponding projections along the leading edges of the first and second walls are mutually connected at their tips to define a plurality of generally U-shaped teeth. The first surfaces of the first and second walls are separated to define a laterally extending guide slot for insertion of a movable blade of the blade set between them. The projections of the first wall have an average thickness that is less than an average thickness of the projections of the second wall.
