Blade set and hair cutting appliance
A blade set for a hair cutting appliance includes a stationary blade and a cutter blade. The stationary blade has a blade base and a plurality of teeth extending from the blade base in a longitudinal direction. The teeth are arranged in a series alternating with tooth gaps therebetween, where the tooth gaps define hair entry slots. The teeth have a first side arranged to cooperate with the cutter blade to cut hair and a second side arranged as a skin-facing side. The teeth have processing edges at the first side at their longitudinal extension, where the processing edges have smoothened edge transitions.
Hair Cutting System and Methods of Use
Various embodiments of a system for cutting hair are described herein. The hair cutting system includes a user interface, a positioning mechanism, a securing mechanism, and a cutting mechanism. The power source is configured to supply electrical power while the user interface includes a data receiving unit for receiving data related to a head of a user, and a display is configured to input data and/or display data. The cutting mechanism is electrically coupled to the power source for cutting the hair on the head of the user. The positioning mechanism is for positioning the cutting mechanism relative to the head of the user, and the securing mechanism for supporting the positioning mechanism. Related apparatus and methods are also described.
Cutter head and hair-cutting machine therefor
A cutter head (10) for a hair cutting machine, having an upper blade (14) and a lower blade (12) that is adjustable relative to the upper blade using an actuating element (100), having a support (32) with an adjusting element (16) which is adjustable relative to the support using the actuating element (100) and which carries out a relative movement between the upper blade and the lower blade in the direction of cutting. The actuating element can be selectively placed in one of two opposite side areas of the support for actuating the adjusting element connected to the lower blade (12). The actuating element (100) is removably connected to a shaft (62), mounted in the support (32), having a first element. The adjusting element is a second element having, in the cross-section, a U- and/or C-shape, the transverse or base limb being connected to the lower blade (12).
Cutting Set with Wave-shaped Cutting Edge
Blade arrangement for a hair clipper comprising
a comb with an anterior edge, which contains tooth elements;
a blade with an anterior cutting edge, which contains tooth elements, wherein the cutting edge at its anterior end is downwardly sloped towards the lower cutting edge, and wherein the blade is configured to be movable relative to the comb;
a connecting device, which connects the comb and the blade relatively movable to each other; and
a pretension element, which preloads the comb and the blade against each other characterized in, that
the cutting edge of the blade have a wave shape, wherein the anterior cutting edge of the blade contains at least three tooth elements and/or the edges of each tooth element have a curved shape according to the wave shape.
Blade Assembly Having Entrapped Spring
A blade assembly for a hair cutting apparatus includes a first blade having teeth extending along a first blade edge, and a second blade having teeth extending along a second blade edge. A distance between the first and second blade edges defines a blade gap. A yoke is coupled to the second blade and configured to convert motion of a drive into reciprocation of the second blade relative to the first blade to cut hair. A spring includes a spring base and at least one spring arm configured to reciprocate with the second blade. A guide assembly includes a guide and a spring retainer, the guide being positioned between the first blade and the second blade, and the spring retainer fixing the spring base relative to the first blade, wherein in response to moving the guide relative to the first blade, the blade gap changes.
ELECTRIC BEARD TRIMMER
The present invention relates to a cutter system for an electric shaver and/or trimmer, comprising a pair of comb-like cutting elements with cooperating toothed cutting edges and movably supported relative to each other by a support element, wherein lateral ends of at least one of said cutting elements are provided with lateral protection elements having rounded and/or chamfered edge contours for soft skin engagement, wherein said lateral protection element is enveloping and covering a gap movably receiving the other cutting element and/or enveloping the support element.
ELECTRIC BEARD TRIMMER
The present invention relates to a cutter system for an electric shaver and/or trimmer, comprising a pair of comb-like cutting elements with cooperating toothed cutting edges and movably supported relative to each other by a support element, wherein lateral ends of at least one of said cutting elements are provided with lateral protection elements having rounded and/or chamfered edge contours for soft skin engagement, wherein said lateral protection element is integrally formed in one part with the cutting element by an end portion of the cutting element bent away from a skin contact surface thereof and enveloping a gap movably receiving the other cutting element and/or enveloping the support element.
Audio controlled cosmetic device
A hair drying device is provided. The hair drying device includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet, a power component, a heating element coupled to the power component, an audio component configured to receive audio input and convert the audio input into audio data, a controller in communication with the heating element and the audio component, and a memory configured to store instructions executable by the controller. The instructions, when executed by the controller, are operable to receive the audio data from the audio component, determine that the audio data corresponds to a style setting, and adjust the energy provided by the power component to increase or decrease the heat emitted by the heating element based on the style setting.
Hair cutter blade gap adjustment system
A hair cutting system includes a handle defining a longitudinal axis, a strut mounted to the handle and a hair cutting blade assembly coupled to the strut. The cutting blade assembly includes a stationary blade defining cutting teeth having blade edges and a movable blade defining cutting teeth having blade edges and capable of reciprocal movement relative to the stationary blade in a horizontal direction. The movable blade and the stationary blade are movable relative to each other in a longitudinal direction to adjust a longitudinal position of the movable blade relative to the stationary blade to selectively vary a distance between the blade edges of the stationary blade and the blade edges of the movable blade. A releasable lock is configured to selectively lock and release the stationary blade and the movable blade with respect to each other in the longitudinal direction.
