Micro-cutting systems for forming cuts in products
This disclosure describes a micro-cutting machine for forming cuts in catheters, guidewires, and similar products. The micro-cutting machine can directly control the dimensions of the resultant beams being cut into these types of products, and can also capture images of each cut for feedback control and accuracy verification. The micro-cutting machine has two cutting blades each with cutting edges aligned with a vertical axis. Motors operate to move the cutting blades in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the stock material being cut to form a pair of opposing grooves in the stock material with each cut.
Food processor
A food processor includes a base including a first end and a second end, a fixing member, a spindle assembly, a bearing assembly, a switching member mounted on the fixing member, and a cutter. The first end is provided with a tool rest for fixing the cutter to cut food. The fixing member is mounted on the first end. The spindle assembly includes a spindle rotatably mounted on the fixing member and a fluted disc fixed to the spindle for fixing the food. The bearing assembly includes a bearing block mounted on the fixing member and a bearing mounted on the bearing block. When the switching member is in an open position, friction is generated between the bearing and the spindle. When the switching member is in a closed position, the switching member can drive the bearing away from the spindle so that the spindle can freely move.
SHEET PERFORATING APPARATUS
A sheet perforating apparatus includes a punch unit configured to punch holes in a sheet from an image processing apparatus. A dust box is below the punch unit and detachably attached to a case. A lid member is attached to the dust box and is displaceable between a closed state, in which the lid member closes an opening of the dust box, and an open state, in which the lid member does not close the opening of the dust box. When in the open state, the lid member is electrically grounded to weaken static electricity of punch chips dropped from the punch unit to the lid member and directs the punch chips towards the opening.
Method and apparatus for recycling cigarette waste
Disclosed herein are methods and apparatus for recycling cigarette waste, so that the reusable material (e.g., cellulose acetate, CA) in the cigarette waste may be isolated and reused. The cigarette waste is composed of a filter and a non-filter part. The apparatus includes at least, an adjusting unit and a treatment unit, respectively coupled to each other via a conveying member. The adjusting unit is configured to adjust the orientation of each cigarette so that each cigarette is aligned in sequence with the same orientation. The treatment unit is configured to cut out the non-filter part of each cigarette, and physically separating CA from the remaining part of the filter of each cigarette. Also disclosed herein is a method of recycling cigarette waste by use of the present apparatus.
Food product slicing apparatus
A food product slicing apparatus includes a frame and upper and lower drive assemblies. The upper drive assembly includes a belt configured to engage an upper surface of a food product block to be sliced, a plate pivotally mounted to the frame, front and rear wheels supporting the upper belt, the front wheel rotatably mounted to the plate and a drive member engaged with the plate. When the drive member is engaged, the plate and the front roller pivot relative to the frame and to the rear wheel. The lower drive assembly includes a belt configured to engage a bottom surface of the food product block.
CUTTING MACHINE FOR CUTTING ELONGATED PRODUCTS, AND RELATED METHOD
The cutting machine includes at least one feed path for elongated products, wherein the elongated products move forward along a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal extension thereof. The cutting machine includes a rotating unit adapted to rotate around a rotation axis, carrying at least one first disc-shaped cutting blade and one second disc-shaped cutting blade. The rotation of the rotating unit causes an orbital movement of the first disc-shaped cutting blade and of the second disc-shaped cutting blade along trajectories intersecting the product feed path. The first disc-shaped cutting blade and the second disc-shaped cutting blade are offset from each other in a direction parallel to the product feed path. The first disc-shaped cutting blade and the second disc-shaped cutting blade are also angularly offset from each other with respect to the rotation axis of the rotating unit.
Cutting mechanism with rotatable blades
A cutting mechanism for a composite material lay-up head comprises a plurality of blades, each blade having a variable width, and a drive mechanism to drive the blades along an axial direction to cut a respective tow of composite material. The blades are rotatable about the axial direction between a first angular position, wherein the blades sever the respective tow along a first cutting direction transversal to a longitudinal direction of the respective tow, and a second angular position, wherein the blades sever the respective tow along a second cutting direction rotated by a rotation angle to the first cutting direction.
AUTOMATED FOOD-CUTTING MACHINE
An automated food cutting machine is disclosed, having a cutting element defining a cutting point; a rotary shaft; a body joined to the rotary shaft; at least one housing joined to the body radially spaced with respect to the rotary shaft; a cavity in each of the housings for housing the products, the cavity defined with an end opening for passage of the foods and a longitudinal opening for depositing and removing the foods; an element for moving through the cavity and dragging the foods towards the end opening; device for arranging the foods in the housing; a control unit for actuating the device with the element at the starting point and moving the element between the starting and end points.
Slicing apparatus
A food preparation system is provided. The food preparation system includes a slicing apparatus configured to host a plurality of different food items simultaneously and govern which of the ingredients are to be sliced.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CUTTING STRAWS
A system and method for cutting straws. The system includes a cutting device. The cutting device may include a cutting device frame, a tubing guide connected to the cutting device frame for receiving tubing and guiding the tubing into a position to be cut, and a blade spool having a spool central axis. The blade spool may include a spool frame, connected to the cutting device frame, and a blade assembly. The spool frame may rotate with respect to the cutting device frame about the spool central axis. The blade assembly may include a blade shaft connected to the spool frame and a blade connected to the blade shaft. The blade may rotate about the blade shaft central axis and move through the tubing when the tubing is in the position to be cut. In another embodiment, the system may include a winding device and a control monitor.
