Method for Manufacturing Colored Product and Mobile Phone shell
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a colored product, in particular a colored mobile phone shell, comprising the following steps: (1) providing a product substrate, preferably a shell substrate; and (2) surface-treating the product substrate, preferably shell substrate, by an anodic oxidation method and/or a molten salt electrochemical method, wherein the product substrate, preferably shell substrate, is made of materials selected from the group consisting of tantalum, niobium, a tantalum-niobium alloy, titanium and a titanium alloy. The present invention further relates to a colored product, in particular a colored mobile phone shell, manufactured by the above method, comprising: (1) a product substrate, preferably a shell substrate; and (2) an amorphous metal oxide layer and/or lithium-containing compound layer formed on the surface of the product substrate, preferably shell substrate, wherein the product substrate, preferably shell substrate, is made of materials selected from tantalum, niobium, a tantalum-niobium alloy, titanium and a titanium alloy.
NUCLEIC ACID-CALCIUM PHOSPHATE NANOPARTICLE COMPLEXES AND APPLICATION THEREOF IN BIOMINERALIZATION
Disclosed are nucleic acid-calcium phosphate nanoparticle complexes and application thereof in biomineralization. Specifically, disclosed are a biological mineralizer and a preparation method thereof. The mineralizer contains a complex formed by nucleic acid and amorphous calcium phosphate nanoparticles. Further, disclosed is a collagen fiber product containing the biological mineralizer or treated with the biological mineralizer, such as a medical device for being implanted into a patient. Further, disclosed is use of the biological mineralizer or the collagen fiber product in treatment of bone-associated diseases or disorders or improvement of bone conditions of patients. Further, disclosed is a method of using the biological mineralizer to induce biomimetic mineralization of collagen fibers or a preparation method of a mineralized collagen fiber product.
PHOSPHOCALCIC CEMENT COMPOSITION COMPRISING BLOOD
A bone cement paste containing a powder component comprising α-tricalcium phosphate (α-TCP) particles having an average size greater than or equal to 9 μm, and a liquid component comprising blood is disclosed. A method for preparation of the phosphocalcic cement composition is also disclosed.
COMPLEMENT ACTIVE FRAGMENT-LOADED THREE-DIMENSIONAL BIOMATERIAL FOR DENTAL AND/OR OTHER TISSUE REGENERATION
A three-dimensional biomaterial including particles encapsulating at least one complement active fragment dispersed therein. Also, a process of manufacturing of the three-dimensional biomaterial with at least one biocompatible and/or resorbable polymer and the particles. The three-dimensional biomaterial is useful for tissue regeneration, especially with regards to dental pulp, dentin, periodontal and gingival tissues, as well as bones tissues.
SURFACE HARDENING FOR A DENTAL IMPLANT
The present invention relates to a Group IV metal or alloy component having a protective oxide surface layer, the Group IV metal or alloy component having a core hardness, a diffusion zone having oxygen in solid solution in the range of a level providing a hardness of 120% of the hardness of the material core to the saturation level of the Group IV metal or alloy, and a Group IV metal oxide layer at the surface of the component, the diffusion zone being between the Group IV metal oxide layer and the material core. In another aspect, the invention relates to a method of producing a protective oxide surface layer on a Group IV metal or alloy comprising: providing a workpiece of a Group IV metal or alloy, oxidising the Group IV metal or alloy in a first and a second oxidation step.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR PREVENTING ALLERGIES
Disclosed are compositions derived from non-primate mammals having reduced expression of alpha 1,3 gal and their use in food products, food additives, cosmetic products, cosmetic additives, medical products, medical devices and products used in research and production of therapeutics. The compositions and methods disclosed are particularly useful to subjects diagnosed with α-Gal Syndrome (AGS).
OSTEOINDUCTIVE MODIFIED GELATIN HYDROGELS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The present invention relates in part to a hydrogel composition and a method of fabricating the hydrogel composition comprising the steps of providing a solution comprising a polymer comprising crosslinkable groups; providing a solution comprising a crosslinking agent; mixing the solution comprising a polymer comprising crosslinkable groups and the solution comprising the crosslinking agent to form a combined solution; and crosslinking the combined solution. The invention also relates in part to a methods of treatment using the hydrogel composition.
DENTIN REGENERATIVE CELL CULTURE
A dentin regenerative cell culture that can bring about a rapid regeneration of dentin in a deficit region. In the treatment of a tooth using the dentin regenerative cell culture, a root canal where a pulpectomy has been performed is filled with a root canal filler containing dental pulp stem cells. The dentin regenerative cell culture is then implanted in the deficit region of dentin, and temporary sealing with a packing is carried out. The dentin regenerative cell culture is formed three-dimensionally in conformity with the shape of the deficit region with the coalescence of cell masses of a plurality of odontoblasts, and thus the dentin regeneration is well promoted. In addition, gaps between the dentin regenerative cell culture and biological tissue can be rapidly filled. Infection due to bacterial infiltration can thereby be prevented.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR DENTAL TISSUE REPAIR AND/OR REGENERATION
The present invention provides methods and compositions for promoting dental tissue repair and/or regeneration, methods for promoting differentiation of dental pulp stem cells, methods for treating periodontal diseases, and methods for treating infection of a dental pulp in a subject in need thereof by contacting the tissue with a composition comprising a triacrylate capable of promoting dental pulp stem cells adhesion and/or proliferation.
