REPAIR KIT FOR TEXTURED BUILDING SURFACES, AND RELATED METHODS OF USE
The present disclosure is directed towards a kit for approximating texture of a building surface (e.g., a wall or ceiling). The kit can include a repair compound, a texture holding material, and optionally one or material to textured more pressing and shaping tools. The texture holding compound can be used to create a mold or stamp of surface texture in a non-damaged area of the building surface needing repair. The texture mold can be used to impart consistent surface texture to the repair compound as it dries, allowing a repaired area to at least approximate the texture of the area of the building surface surrounding the repaired area. The tool, if provided, can include a planar surface that can be used to conform the texture holding material to the surface texture, maintain contact between the texture mold and the repair compound to impart the mimicked texture, or both.

COMPOSITE RELEASE FILMS, AND DEVICES AND METHODS USING COMPOSITE RELEASE FILM IN FIELD OF ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
A composite release film may be configured to separate a current cured layer from a photocuring surface during a photocuring three-dimensional (3D) printing process. The composite release film may include a plastic layer and an elastic layer. An upper surface of the plastic layer may be the photocuring surface, and a lower surface of the plastic layer may fit with an upper surface of the elastic layer. The elastic layer may include an elastic medium of the elastic layer and a reinforcing scaffold. The elastic medium of the elastic layer may be filled in pores of the reinforcing scaffold. The reinforcing scaffold in the elastic layer may include a plurality of protrusions on a lower surface of the elastic layer. In addition, a device and a method using the composite release film to prepare a 3D object through a photocuring 3D printing technique in the field of additive manufacturing are disclosed.

Lobed tubular piece made of a composite with unidirectional fibers
A method for manufacturing a fibrous tubular structure including lobes, in which fibers are draped/deposited on a mandrel having a shape corresponding to that of the fibrous structure, includes draping/deposition carried out such that at least one group of fibers has a same orientation with respect to the axis (A) of said fibrous structure, then, the fibers having been draped over an angular sector less than the total periphery of the mandrel, one of the ends of the fibrous structure is separated from the mandrel in order to allow the continuation of the draping on the same mandrel.

Method for micromolding a polymeric membrane having a pore array
A method for micro-molding a polymeric membrane and including pouring a predetermined volume of curable polymer unto a micro-fabricated mold having a post array with pillars, and overlaying the polymer with a support substrate. A spacer, such as a rubber spacer, is placed in contact with the support substrate and a force is applied to an exposed side of the spacer to compress the support substrate and the polymer together. While applying the force, the polymer is cured on the mold for a predetermined time period and at a predetermined temperature to form a polymeric membrane having a pore array with a plurality of pores corresponding to the plurality of pillars of the post array. The polymeric membrane is removed from the support substrate.
