Powder Delivery Devices
A nasal delivery device for delivering substance to a nasal cavity of a subject, the delivery device comprising: a substance supply unit for supplying a dose of substance to be delivered to the nasal cavity of the subject, the substance supply unit including an inlet and an outlet; a nosepiece unit including a nosepiece for fitting to a nasal cavity of the subject and being in fluid communication with the outlet of the substance supply unit; and a mouthpiece unit including a mouthpiece in fluid communication with the inlet of the substance supply unit and through which the subject in use exhales such as to entrain substance from the container chamber and deliver the same through the nosepiece, and at least one temperature modifier for reducing a temperature of the exhaled air flow such as to reduce the absolute humidity thereof.
STABLE-FOAM INHALATION DEVICE AND CARTRIDGE
A battery-operated foam inhalation device which comprises a cartridge (610) having a liquid for producing a foam and a foam outlet (654). Agitation means agitates the liquid to produce the foam, and the agitation means comprises an electric motor (762) and a battery (760) for energising the electric motor (762). A carrier (672) receives the cartridge (610) and has a carrier foam inlet (680) for fluid communication with the foam outlet (654) of the cartridge (610). A carrier foam outlet (682) dispenses the foam to a user.
Inhaler device for inhalable liquids
The present invention provides a new inhaler device for the storage and/or administration of inhalable liquids to a patient offering one or more advantages or improvements over known inhalers, particularly inhalers for the delivery of halogenated volatile liquids such as methoxyflurane for use as an analgesic.
Product delivery devices and methods
Devices, and methods for generating variable inhalable products (e.g., variable density, phase, and size products) are provided. Methods for treating or preventing a disorder in a subject using variable products generated by the devices are also provided herein. Additionally, inhalers and breathing systems comprising the devices are provided.
DRY POWDER INHALERS AND INTERFACES FOR IMPROVED AEROSOL DELIVERY TO CHILDREN
Exemplary embodiments include dry powder inhalers (DPIs) and patient interfaces which improve delivery of aerosols to patients, especially children.
METHOD FOR QUALITATIVE AND/OR QUANTITATIVE DETECTION OF SUBSTANCES CONTAINED IN A HEMP PLANT AND KIT FOR USE THEREIN
The present invention relates to a kit comprising: a) an ampoule; b) a material comprising a hemp plant or parts thereof; and c) a color indicator capable of reacting by contacting the hemp plant and/or at least a part thereof to change the color of the color indicator, wherein the material and the color indicator are disposed in the ampoule; and a method for qualitatively and/or quantitatively detecting one or more substance(s) contained in the hemp plant using the kit.
THERAPEUTIC DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE SINUSES, NASAL CAVITIES, EAR, NOSE AND THROAT
A therapeutic device for treating one or more conditions associated with a user's nasal cavities, sinuses, and/or ear canals includes a housing having an opening, an acoustic vibrator within the housing that is operable to provide an acoustic vibration to the user, a fan within the housing that is operable to provide a pressure to the user and a power supply that provides power to the acoustic vibrator and the fan. A mask is connected to the housing at the opening and includes a nasal interface appliable around the nose of the user, a nasal chamber in which the user's nostrils are located and an aperture through which the fan delivers the pressure.
SMART VALVED HOLDING CHAMBER
A medication delivery system having a holding chamber capable of delivering dosages of medicament from a metered dose inhaler. The holding chamber includes an actuator detector, flow detector and display. In another embodiment, a medication delivery system includes a holding chamber having an input and an output end, a metered dose inhaler operably coupled to the input end of the holding chamber, and a metered dose inhaler identifier associated with the holding chamber and operable to identify the metered dose inhaler coupled to the holding chamber.
RESPIRATORY CARE SYSTEM WITH ELECTRONIC INDICATOR
A respiratory care system includes a user interface. A flow indicator is movable in response to inhalation and/or exhalation, or both, by a user through the user interface. An electronic indicator is operable in response to an electronic signal transmitted in response to the movement of the floe indicator. Methods of use and assembly are also provided.
STEAMING STATION
A steaming station may include a hinged lid that allows the user to place a concave bowl with hot liquids within the inside cavity. Once the steaming station is closed with hot liquids and medicinal herbs, the user can then kneel or sit with the steaming station in front of them and place their face onto the rounded cavity of the lid to receive the benefits of the steam for extended periods of time.
