GLASS AND PLASTIC HYBRID LENS
A lens includes a glass layer and a plastic layer. The glass layer has a first glass side disposed opposite of a second glass side. The plastic layer has a first plastic side disposed opposite of a second plastic side. The first plastic side of the plastic layer is bonded to the second glass side of the glass layer. The outside plastic boundary of the plastic layer extends past an outside glass boundary of the glass layer.
Mold, system and method for manufacturing a molded part
A mold, system and method for manufacturing a part includes injection molding a substrate in a single injection mold and optionally trimming the panel substrate. The substrate can have a first configuration or a second, different configuration. Trimming of the substrate can occur when the substrate has the first configuration to define an aperture in the substrate.
INJECTION-MOULDED PLASTIC COMPONENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH COMPONENTS
A method for producing an injection-moulded plastic component made of a plastic having at least one recess for accommodating sensors, having the following steps: producing the injection-moulded plastic component in a mould having top and bottom mould halves; raising the top mould half and introducing a thermoregulatable ram which is guided in a sleeve; placing the sleeve with integrated annular space on the surface of the injection-moulded component, to form an annular bead in the annular space; pressing the thermoregulated ram into the surface of the injection-moulded component; and cooling the ram and raising it from the surface.
Decorative arrangement for an interior lining of a motor vehicle and method for producing same
A decorative arrangement for an interior lining of a motor vehicle has a carrier layer (20), a decorative layer (6) on the carrier layer (20), and a protective layer provided on the decorative layer (6). The decorative layer (6) is composed of a wood or wood veneer material. A metal structure (8) is provided on the decorative layer (6). The metal structure (8) is inlaid into the decorative layer (6).
Injection Molding System
An injection molding system includes a main unit in which a first injection molding machine that injects a first molding material and molds a molded article is disposed and a control unit separated from the main unit and configured to control the first injection molding machine. The control unit is coupled to the main unit via a connection cable having predetermined length.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LENS AND LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE
A method of manufacturing a lens including forming a cover blank having cover parts by injecting a thermosetting first resin in a first mold and curing the thermosetting first resin, removing a part or all parts of the first mold, and arranging the cover blank in a second mold. The method further includes forming a lens blank having a light-shielding part between adjacent cover parts by injecting a thermosetting second resin having a greater light absorptance or light reflectance than the thermosetting first resin into the second mold and curing the thermosetting second resin, and obtaining individual lenses by taking out the lens blank from the second mold, and cutting the lens blank at the light-shielding part located between adjacent cover parts to obtain individual lenses each with lateral end surfaces and an upper surface of each of flange parts and lateral side walls covered by the light-shielding part.
Lens, light emitting device and method of manufacturing the lens and the light emitting device
A lens includes a cover part and a light-shielding part. The cover part includes a lens part, a connection part, and a plurality of flange parts, formed with a thermosetting first resin and continuous to one another. The light-shielding part covers lateral end surfaces and an upper surface of each of the flange parts and outer lateral sides of the connection part and formed with a thermosetting second resin having a greater light-absorptance or a greater light-reflectance than the thermosetting first resin.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING GLASS PLATE WITH RESIN FRAME FOR VEHICLE WINDOW AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING GLASS PLATE WITH RESIN FRAME FOR VEHICLE WINDOW
To produce a glass plate with resin frame in a short time at a low cost, and to reduce scars on the glass and the resin frame. A method for producing a glass plate with resin frame, which comprises forming a resin frame on a peripheral portion of a glass plate by injection molding, and removing a flash formed at an inner peripheral edge of the resin frame by irradiation with laser beam.
Flow path structure, liquid ejecting apparatus, liquid ejecting head, and method of manufacturing flow path structure
A flow path structure including a first-flow path includes a first-flow path member that including a first-resin member made of a resin and a first-film member having a film, a second-flow path member laminated on the first-flow path member and adhered to the first-flow path member, in which the first-resin member includes a first-front surface that is a surface facing the second-flow path member and that is provided with a first-recessed portion, the first-film member includes a first-surface and a second-surface that is opposite from the first-surface, at least a portion of the first-surface is in close contact with a front surface of the first-resin member inside the first-recessed portion, and the second-surface and the second-flow path member define at least a portion of the first-flow path in a region overlapping the first-recessed portion in a laminating direction of the first-flow path member and the second-flow path member.
METHOD FOR FABRICATING A CURVED EYEPIECE
Techniques and mechanisms for fabricating an eyepiece from a lens blank including blank bodies that are bonded to each other. In an embodiment, the blank bodies are formed by injection molding and adhered to one another. Fabrication of the eyepiece includes variously machining the blank bodies to shape respective lens bodies of the eyepiece. One or more blocking structures are coupled to reinforce the lens blank during at least part of such machining. In another embodiment, any blocking structures that are to resist forces of a particular machining process are coupled only indirectly to one of the blank bodies.
