METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SHAPING AN ELONGATED COMPONENT
The invention relates to a device (10) for shaping an elongated component (44), comprising:
a shaping tool (12) that defines multiple molding points and delimits at least one cavity (20) in which the molding compound (18) introduced via the molding points can be received,
at least one centering element (26) which is designed to receive an elongated component (22, 24) and guide same into the at least one cavity (20), wherein the at least one centering element (26) can be moved relative to the molding tool (12), and
at least one drive device, by means of which the at least one centering element (26) can be driven so as to move relative to the molding tool (12).
TRANSFER SYSTEM HAVING AN INJECTION DEVICE INTEGRATED IN FEED TABLE
A transfer system which can be used in a flexible manner for transporting or processing, respectively, profiles, in which the injection device comprises a mold for receiving the profile during the injection, wherein the mold has at least two contour parts and the injection device has a closing unit for opening/closing the contour parts, wherein the closing unit is configured for keeping the contour parts open until the profile is enclosed by the contour parts, and wherein the transportation device is configured for moving, preferably not rotating, the profile exclusively parallel to the transportation path, wherein the closing unit and the injection device are assembled so as to be displaceable conjointly with the first feed table, and the first feed table in the direction of the transportation path is displaceable so far until the contour parts enclose the profile.
Wood handle with overmold and method of manufacture
The disclosed and claimed concept provides for an overmold that is applied to substantially all of the exposed portions of a wood handle for a tool.
Solid polymeric articles having hydrophobic compounds intermixed therein
The present invention relates to a three-dimensional solid polymeric article having surface effects comprising a polymer composition and 0.1 to 20% by weight of a hydrophobic compound, based on the total weight of the solid polymeric article, where the hydrophobic compound is intermixed throughout the polymer composition and throughout three-dimensional solid polymeric article; and where the hydrophobic compound is selected from a cyclic alcohol which is substituted with at least two hydrophobic groups.
METHOD OF MAKING A SADDLE AND RELATED SADDLE
A method of making a saddle having a shell and a padding involves arranging the shell in thermoplastic polymer inside a mould for injection moulding having a die and a punch, the shell having a support surface, which in use faces the padding, and a supporting surface coupled to an inner wall of the punch or of the die, the support surface forming a wall of the moulding cavity; closing the mould; and making the padding by injection moulding a thermoplastic polymer over the shell, between the support surface and the mould.
Keycap forming method
A keycap forming method includes the following steps. Firstly, a stabilizer bar is fixed on a first male mold. Then, a keycap is formed through a second male mold and a female mold according to an injection molding process. Then, the second male mold and the female mold are separated from each other, so that the keycap is fixed on the female mold. Then, the first male mold and the female mold are stacked on each other, so that the stabilizer bar and the keycap are combined together. Then, the first male mold and the female mold are separated from each other. Consequently, the stabilizer bar is detached from the first male mold. By using the keycap forming method, it is not necessary to manually assemble the stabilizer bar with the keycap.
Injection molding an element onto a cable
The invention relates to a method for producing a cable, comprising both a molding tool with a cavity and with at least one first opening, and a line, said line consisting of at least one wire and a sheath surrounding the at least one wire. According to the invention, the line is inserted into the cavity and is guided out of the cavity via at least the first opening. A molding compound is injected into the cavity of the molding tool in a pressurized manner, wherein the line is pressed onto a seal surface of the cavity by means of the pressure of the molding compound, and the line closes the cavity at the seal surface.
Projectile assembly and electric circuit breaker device
An electric circuit breaker device with a reduced size. A first through hole 22a of a cut portion 20 and a first attachment hole 43 of a first connection portion 40 are placed on a first fixing pin 35 of a projectile 30, and a second through hole 23a of the cut portion 20 and a second attachment hole 48 of a second connection portion 45 are placed on a second fixing pin 36. By deforming an end portion of the first fixing pin 35 and an end portion of the second fixing pin 36, the projectile 30, the cut portion 20, the first connection portion 40, and the second connection portion 45 can be integrally formed together.
ROTATIONAL INTRAVASCULAR ULTRASOUND PROBE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A rotational intravascular ultrasound probe for insertion into a vasculature and a method of manufacturing the same. The rotational intravascular ultrasound probe comprises an elongate catheter having a flexible body and an elongate transducer shaft disposed within the flexible body. The transducer shaft comprises a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, a drive shaft extending from the proximal end portion to the distal end portion, an ultrasonic transducer disposed near the distal end portion for obtaining a circumferential image through rotation, and a transducer housing molded to the drive shaft and the ultrasonic transducer.
Injection molding machine for composite molded product
An injection molding machine for a composite molded product is an injection molding machine for a composite molded product, in which an injection device or a rotary table is arrayed with a movable platen attached with a movable metal mold and the injection device or the rotary table is driven using an electric motor, wherein, at any position below, side, or rear of the movable platen, a plurality of cableveyors, and which house cables, and connected to the movable metal mold or the movable platen or connected to the injection device in addition to the movable metal mold or the movable platen is disposed in parallel to one another so that longitudinal directions of the cableveyors coincide with a mold opening/closing direction A of the movable platen.
