METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TOOTHED WHEEL WITH REINFORCING STRAPPING
A method of manufacturing a wheel has a step (a) during which, by injecting a first polymer material into a first mould, a bearing core is created that extends from a radially internal wall that forms the ball of a steering axis, as far as a radially external peripheral edge, followed by a step (b) of coating during which step a coating layer is overmoulded in a second polymer material over the bearing core to form a rim around the peripheral edge, the method being such that during step (a) of creating the bearing core, a preformed reinforcing hoop made of a third material referred to as “reinforcing material” is placed in the first mould then the reinforcing hoop is at least partially embedded in the peripheral edge during injection of the first material.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a housing having an opening, a connection terminal located in an opening in the housing, and a terminal cover including a first resin member having a first surface facing the connection terminal and a second surface located opposite to the first surface and a second resin member located on the second surface. At least a portion of the second resin member covers a depression located on an outer peripheral portion of the first surface of the first resin member.
Method for producing a toothbrush and toothbrush produced thereby
A method for producing a toothbrush comprises providing a head, a neck portion, and a handle; providing a coupling element; and combining the neck portion to the handle by the coupling element so that an irreversible connection is formed. The individual parts of the toothbrush to be formed can be produced in parallel or successively, wherein some of the parts can be produced by injection molding. A toothbrush formed by the method comprises a head, a neck portion, and a handle; these elements can be produced as building blocks separately and may be connected to one another via a coupling element to form an inseparable connection.
Composite molded article having two-layer structure
The present invention has an object of providing a molded article of a composite structure obtained by bonding a polar thermoplastic resin, especially polyacetal, with another resin in a simple manner. According to the present invention, a molded article of a composite structure obtained by bonding a polar thermoplastic resin and a resin containing an aliphatic ester structure as a main component to each other in the state where at least a face at which both of the materials contact each other is in a melted state can be provided.
SLIDE FASTENER TAPE WITH MOLDED ZIPPER TEETH AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
A molded-teeth slide fastener tape for use in a slide fastener assembly includes a woven portion and a plurality of resin-based teeth. The woven portion includes a cord arranged along an edge thereof and a plurality of spaced-apart perforations, disposed adjacent to the cord, which pass completely through the woven portion. Each of the plurality of resin-based teeth is integrally molded to the woven portion along the cord. Each molded tooth encompasses at least a portion of at least one of the spaced-apart perforations so that each molded tooth extends through the at least one of the spaced-apart perforations and fully around a cross-sectional shape of the cord.
Method for producing a control element for an air-diffuser
In the manufacturing of an operating element (10) for an air vent, a first partial element (12) is manufactured from a hard component in a first injection molding process and a second partial element (14) is manufactured from a soft component in a second injection molding process. The second partial element (14) forms a bearing (20) for a support of the operating element (10) on a vane (22) of the air vent. During its manufacture, the second partial element (14) is connected with the first partial element (12) by adhesion and/or by geometric shaping. The two partial elements (12, 14) that are captively connected with each other constitute a prefabricated unit.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a cable including at least one core wire and a shielding wire arranged around the core wire with an insulating member interposed therebetween, a plug part connected to the cable and capable of fitting with a receptacle, a primary molded part including a connection portion between the core wire and a conductive member of the plug part, and a secondary molded part arranged at a lead-out portion of the cable. The dimension of the primary molded part is an outer diameter or a thickness of the plug part.
PISTON, CARTRIDGE AND METHOD OF VENTING A CARTRIDGE
A two-component piston for a cartridge includes a piston cover and a piston body. The piston cover has a radially extending attachment portion, a rear side and a front side. The piston body includes a front side and a rear side. The rear side of the piston cover is arranged adjacent to at least a part of the front side of the piston body and includes a valve member configured and arranged to be received within the piston body and to extend into the piston body towards the rear side of the piston body. The piston cover moves relative to the piston body upon actuation of the valve member, and the piston cover is non-releasably connected to the piston body by a part of the piston body being overmolded to the radially extending portion of the attachment portion of the piston cover.
Decorative Functional Component Having a Transparent Partial Surface
A decorative functional component with a transparent partial surface includes a substrate and a flat cover body. The substrate is of a first plastic material and has a recess. The cover body is of a transparent second plastic material and covers the recess of the substrate. The substrate and the cover body are connected together by a loose form-fit connection. The substrate and the cover body and are jointly coated with a low viscosity curing transparent plastic flooded thereon.
Oral care implement having multi-component handle
A method of forming a handle for an oral care implement. The method may include first forming a core structure out of a first hard plastic. Next, an elongated handle body may be formed out of a second hard plastic, whereby during formation the elongated handle body is made to partially surround the core structure, while leaving opposing surfaces of the core structure exposed. Finally, a grip cover may be formed out of a resilient material and positioned over at least a portion of the elongated handle body. The oral care implement handle formed by the method may include a handle having an elongated handle body and a core structure. The elongated handle body may have openings in opposing surfaces. The core structure may be partially surrounded by the elongated handle body while protruding from the openings.
