Portable cardboard baler
The portable cardboard baler is an apparatus that receives, stores, compresses, and outputs recyclable items. The apparatus includes an enclosure, a bailing ram, an ejector mechanism, a control panel, a control unit, and a power source. The enclosure houses the bailing ram and the ejector mechanism. The elongated housing houses the recyclable items. The bailing ram compresses the recyclable items. The ejector mechanism pushes the bale of recyclable items out of the elongated housing. The apparatus preferably includes an input door that corresponds to a first opening of the elongated housing. The apparatus also includes a first output door and a second output door that corresponds to a second opening of the elongated housing. The apparatus preferably includes a plurality of environmental sensors to prevent a user from getting injured. The apparatus may further include a vehicle the directly transports the enclosure, the bailing ram, and the ejector mechanism.
TRASH COMPACTOR
A trash compactor may include a frame, a cavity, a trash receptacle, a platen movable to compress trash collected in the trash receptacle, a set of linkages and a drive mechanism configured to drive said platen up and down, the drive mechanism further configured as one of the link elements, and a platen guide mechanism configured to restrict the motion of the platen in an up and down manner.

Methods for Making Rubber Bales
Methods for forming improved bales may include using baling equipment with multi-component bolster assemblies that may ease installation and removal, reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing material waste, imperfections, and/or contamination. The bolster assemblies may include a plurality of coupling portions that engage a hydraulic rod and may enable the bolster assembly to self-center within a press chamber during normal baling operations. The bolster assemblies also may include an island portion that may be attached to the coupling portions and to a bolster cap, and the latter may be attached using retainer bolts having substantially planar heads that may define lips that run about frustums. The bolts may substantially planar head may reduce irregularities in the bale and the lips may prevent material seepage into the bolster assemblies.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMPACTING MATERIALS
A method and system for compacting waste materials in a collection container. The container can be a freestanding waste container, a self-contained compaction container, or a container on a waste collection vehicle. A hydraulically operated compactor blade is positioned in the upper portion of the container with its bottom edge a distance above the floor. A door member can be provided in the rear wall of the collection container. The compactor blade can be in its rest position relative to the top opening. The container member can be positioned or located on a trailer or truck-type vehicle and adapted to be tilted for evacuation of materials collected therein.
Integrated vehicle galley trash compactor
A space-saving in-flight trash compactor, comprising a trash chute, a compactor mechanism disposed above a level of the trash chute, and a storage chamber removably positioned below the compactor mechanism and below a level of the trash chute. The storage chamber is vertically aligned with the compactor mechanism. The trash chute is configured to channel trash disposed through an opening of the trash chute at a level of a counter top and above a level of a top of the storage chamber into an opening of the storage chamber at the top of the storage chamber. The opening of the trash chute may be horizontally offset from the vertical alignment of the storage chamber and compactor mechanism.
AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH STARTUP MODE
An agricultural harvesting machine for crop material including a crank arm connected to a rotational power source, a plunger having an extended position which is located further rearward in a compression chamber than a retracted position, and a connecting link connected between the crank arm and the plunger. The movement plunger is decoupled from the movement of the crank arm during a startup mode of the agricultural harvesting machine. The movement plunger is coupled to the movement of the crank arm during a run mode of the agricultural harvesting machine. The connecting link, crank arm, or both have a variable length.
AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH PLUNGER REPOSITION DURING STARTUP MODE
An agricultural harvesting machine for crop material may include a crank arm connected to a rotational power source, a plunger having an extended position which is located further rearward in a compression chamber than a retracted position, and a connecting link connected between the plunger and the crank arm, with one of the connecting link and the crank arm having a variable length. The agricultural harvesting machine may include a startup mode and a run mode. The movement of the plunger can be decoupled from the movement of the crank arm at the beginning of the startup mode. The plunger can move to a predetermined position during the startup mode. The movement of the plunger can be coupled to the movement of the crank arm during the run mode.
Agricultural Baler with Variable Speed Plunger
An agricultural harvesting machine for crop material including a crank arm connected to a rotational power source, a plunger having an extended position which is located further rearward in a compression chamber than a retracted position, and a connecting link connected between the plunger and the crank arm. One of the connecting link and the crank arm has a variable length. The plunger moves between the retracted and extended positions during a run mode as the crank arm rotates. The plunger changes speeds during an event phase based upon one of the connecting link and the crank arm varying lengths.
