An apparatus for the production of concrete molded parts in a molding machine includes an upper mold part having a pressure plate arrangement having multiple pressure plates, each facing an opening of a mold insert, wherein each of the pressure plates is screwed onto an intermediate plate, wherein the intermediate plate is connected with a punch plate on the upper mold part on the side facing the upper mold part, by way of at least one pressure punch. The intermediate plate is braced against the punch plate, in that at least one bolt that can be screwed on is passed through an accommodation on the intermediate plate, which bolt releasably engages into the punch plate and has a hollow body that encloses the bolt, between the intermediate plate and the punch plate.
Rubber Bales and Apparatus and Method for Making Same
Improved bales may be formed using methods that include baling equipment with multi-component bolster assemblies that may ease installation and removal, reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing material waste, imperfections, and/or contamination. The bolster assemblies may include a plurality of coupling portions that engage a hydraulic rod and may enable the bolster assembly to self-center within a press chamber during normal baling operations. The bolster assemblies also may include an island portion that may be attached to the coupling portions and to a bolster cap, and the latter may be attached using retainer bolts having substantially flat, non-circular heads. The bolts may reduce irregularities in the bale and/or prevent material seepage into the bolster assemblies. During maintenance, an operator may remove only the bolster cap island assembly for cleaning, substantially reducing the time and strength needed to clean and/or repair the baler and reduce downtime.
PRESS FOR SHAPING PELLETS IN A RESTRICTED AND HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING THE PRESS
A uniaxial press for shaping pellets by compressing powder in a die by punches. The uniaxial press can be used in a restricted and hostile environment and includes small modules that can pass separately through narrow openings, the modules being assembled by placing over columns and by screwing, therefore by remote handling in the confined space where the press is to operate without requiring any further intervention. The actuation is generally exclusively electromechanical.
TRANSMISSION HOLDER FOR A ROLLER PRESS AND METHOD FOR DISMANTLING THE TRANSMISSION OF A ROLLER PRESS
The transmission holder according to the invention for a roller press has a two-part structure with a transmission part which is connected to the transmission and a separate torque supporting part which is to be connected to the machine base frame or foundation. Transmission and torque supporting part of the transmission holder can be detachably connected to one another, preferably by means of a screw or bolt connection. In one embodiment this connection has two screws or bolts. Advantageously the dismantling or assembly of the rollers can thus be accomplished significantly more simply than according to the prior art since merely the screw or bolt connection between transmission and transmission holder of the transmission holder must be released. Advantageously significantly fewer screws/bolts need to be released for dismantling the transmission which in addition are more readily accessible and have a significantly greater distance from one another than according to the prior art. In addition, no unilateral gravitation forces act after dismantling as a result of the symmetrical transmission part. Likewise the tightening torque of the screws/bolts advantageously does not play a very important role. As a further advantage the transmission holder according to the invention can be manufactured simply and cost-effectively. As a result of the compact shape of the transmission part, advantageously low moulding and manufacturing costs are also incurred.
Mechanical Support Tooling and/or Mandrel for Composite Part Curing
Example mechanical supports or mandrels are described for composite part curing. In one example, a mandrel includes a housing, and components within the housing and positioned to create a central opening. An expander is also positioned in the central opening, and the expander has a width that increases along a length of the expander. A narrow end of the expander is positioned in the central opening. An actuator is provided to move the expander into the central opening causing the components to expand the housing, and to retract the expander from the central opening causing the components to collapse the housing.

The invention concerns a disc-shaped retaining device for bushings of a rotary tablet press, wherein the disc-shaped retaining device comprises two disc halves that are connected with one another, each of which shows multiple holes, which align with one another if the disc halves are connected with one another and thus form mounting holes in which one respective bushing is located, wherein the bushings between the disc halves that are connected with one another are designed in a form-fit manner.
STEPPED DIE
Provided is a stepped die which includes: an inner ring having a cylindrical shape, and an outer ring having a cylindrical shape which is fitted on an outer periphery of the inner ring by shrinkage fitting, in which a recessed portion for molding which has a stepped portion is formed on an inner side of the inner ring. A shrinkage fitting ratio of the outer ring to the inner ring is set to a value which falls within a range of from 0.12% to 0.25%.
Quick coupling system for fastening an interchangeable head on a press tool
Provided in a quick coupling system for fastening an interchangeable head to a pressing tool is a securing arrangement. The pressing tool has a press ram, which is movable in an axial direction, for actuating a pressing device in the interchangeable head. The quick coupling system has no thread and has either a bayonet closure or a securing arrangement having radially displaceable securing elements.
