METHODS OF OPERATING A STAMPING PRESS AND STAMPING PRESSES FOR OPERATION ACCORDING TO THE METHODS
The invention relates to a method for operating a stamping press (1) with a ram (2) which acts against a bolster plate (3), in particular a fixed bolster plate (3), and whose ram position relative to the bolster plate (3) can be adjusted in the intended use, wherein the ram (2) carries a first die part (4) and the bolster plate (3) carries a second die part (5), wherein the two die parts (4, 5) provide associated stop faces (6a, 7a) which, when the die is completely closed, form one or more fixed stops within the die for limiting the closing dimension of the die (4, 5). In accordance with a first method according to the invention, the distance (a, a1, a2, a3) between the two die parts (4, 5) or a parameter (b1, b2, b3, c) representing said distance is monitored at a certain point (P1, P2, P3) of the ram movement in which the die (4, 5) is not fully closed, and the ram movement is changed as a function of the monitoring result. In accordance with a second method according to the invention, at least one of the fixed stops is monitored for stop contact in the intended use of the stamping press, and the ram position is changed as a function of the monitoring result. With the methods according to the invention, energy-efficient and low-wear process control is possible also for dies (4, 5) with fixed stops, regardless of the skill and experience of the operator.
METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PRODUCING INDIVIDUALIZED TABLETS, AND TABLET PRESS FOR AUTOMATICALLY PRODUCING INDIVIDUALIZED TABLETS
A tablet press for producing tablets including: a press chamber, a receiving chamber, a first material container having the first active substance with a first dosing device, a controller, and an input device. The press chamber has an extendable upper punch, an extendable lower punch, and a die. The input device inputs a target indicating a number of produced tablets and a target mass indicating a quantity of the first active substance and transmits the target number and the target mass to the controller. The controller actuates the first dosing device, the upper punch, and the lower punch such that a quantity of the first active substance that corresponds to the target mass is filled into a central opening of the die and pressed by the punches to form a tablet, and to repeat until the target number of tablets are produced.
DRY GRANULATOR
A dry granulator includes a rack, a feeding device mounted on the rack, and a slip roller device. The feeding device includes a vertical feeding screw, a buffer hopper, a stirring paddle, a horizontal feeding screw, and two drive assemblies. The drive assembly includes a drive motor and a drive shaft. The slip roller device includes a servo motor, a trapezoidal screw, a primary slip roller assembly and a secondary slip roller. The primary slip roller assembly includes a support frame, and a primary slip roller. A guide rail is arranged between the servo motor and the secondary slip roller. The support frame is provided with a screw hole. A coupling member is arranged between the output shaft of the drive motor and the drive shaft. The coupling member includes a reserved space. The horizontal feeding screw and the vertical feeding screw are drivingly provided with a transmission member, respectively.

Improved balers may include a traveling chute that may reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing downtime. The traveling chute may include moving guides that include channels that engage tongues of stationary guide rails disposed on a baler. For example, the channels may be substantially rectangular channels that run the length of the moving guide. Similarly, the stationary guides may include substantially rectangular tongues and the moving guides may slide across the tongues and upper surfaces of the stationary guides as the traveling chute moves between various positions. The moving guides may include polyoxymethylene inserts in which the channels may be provided. The invention relates to a gripper system (16) for a press brake (2), having a gripping device (11) for manipulating a bending tool (6). The gripping device (11) comprises a first gripping arm (21) and a second gripping arm (22) that is displaceable in the clamping direction (26) relative to the first gripping arm (21), said gripping arms (21) being configured to engage in a gripping groove (17, 18) of a bending tool (6) and to clamp the bending tool (6). The gripping device (11) is arranged on a carriage system (46), said carriage system (46) comprising a horizontal linear guide (47) by means of which the gripping device (11) is displaceable towards the gripping groove (17, 18) or away from the gripping groove (17, 18) in the longitudinal direction (35) of the gripping arms (21, 22).
