Method for edge-forming cellulose products in a forming mould system, and a forming mould system for forming edges of cellulose products
12208591 · 2025-01-28 · ·

A method and system for edge-forming cellulose products from an air-formed cellulose blank structure. The system comprises a first mould part having an edge-forming device with a protruding element configured for compacting and separating fibres of the cellulose blank structure and a second mould part arranged for cooperating with each other. The edge-forming device is movably arranged in relation to a base structure of the first mould part, and is adapted for interacting with a pressure member arranged in the base structure. The method includes the steps: providing the air-formed cellulose blank structure, and forming a compacted edge structure of the cellulose products by separating fibres of the cellulose blank structure with the protruding element, applying an edge-forming temperature, and compacting the cellulose blank structure by applying an edge-forming pressure onto the cellulose blank structure between the protruding element and the second mould part.

LEAK RESISTANT FOOD TRAY
20170107009 · 2017-04-20 · ·

A leak resistant paperboard tray formed from a blank having a scored surface that defines a base, panels and webbing flaps at the corners. When folded at the score lines of the scored surface in an appropriate manner, an leak resistant food tray forms and the webbing flaps are then adhered to neighboring walls to retain the shape in the folded condition. The adhesive is applied to exterior facing surfaces of the webbing flaps so that food contents of the container do not come into contact with the adhesive and thereby avoiding the risk of contamination.

Presser Assembly With Magnetic Biasing
20250100243 · 2025-03-27 ·

A presser assembly is provided for supporting a carton blank. The presser assembly includes a housing having a cavity formed therein. A presser plunger is telescopically received in the housing. The presser plunger is slidable between a first retracted position wherein the presser plunger is at least substantially received with the cavity in the housing and an extended position wherein the presser plunger projects from the open end of the housing. A magnetic biasing structure urges the presser plunger toward the extended position.

Spot presser assembly

A spot presser assembly is provided for supporting carton blanking scrap. The spot presser assembly includes an intermediate plunger telescopically received in a housing and a presser plunger telescopically received in the intermediate plunger. A first spring biases the intermediate plunger toward its extended position and a second spring biases the presser plunger toward its extended position.

Methods and systems for producing pressware

A system for forming a pressware product comprises rollers, a scoring tool, a scoring station actuator, a forming tool, and a forming station actuator. The rollers pull the web along a path having an angle. The scoring tool receives the material from the rollers and includes a vertically shiftable scoring punch with an edge that extends about an outline of the pressware product and a striker plate. The scoring station actuator shifts the scoring tool to form a slot in the web. The forming tool receives the scored web and includes a vertically shiftable positive mold assembly and negative mold assembly. The forming station actuator shifts the positive mold assembly to press against the web and form the pressware product.

Deep-drawing packaging machine with lifting device

The invention relates to a deep-drawing packaging machine and to a method of operating such a deep-drawing packaging machine, comprising a lifting device for a workstation, wherein a lower tool part connected to a stand and an upper tool part connected to a frame are coupled to each other and driven by a motor such that both tools may at least partially move together towards a film web.

Method for producing balance correction sheet for punching machine
09573287 · 2017-02-21 · ·

A balance correction sheet corrects a whole pressure balance of a punching machine, in which a punching die and a cutting plate for receiving blade tips of the punching die are attached to be opposed to each other. A method of forming the balance correction sheets includes attaching a balance correction die having a plurality of punching blades disposed at a predetermined interval to the punching machine, intermediately inserting the blade tips of the punching blades into a middle of laminated sheets formed by laminating peelable sheets so that incisions are formed in a depth direction of the laminated sheets, and partially removing the laminated sheets depending on depths of the incisions so as to prepare the balance correction sheet.
