STRETCHABLE FILMS, METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND DISPLAY DEVICES INCLUDING THE SAME
A stretchable film includes a first region including a plurality of first patterns having a concave polygonal shape. The stretchable film also includes a second region including a plurality of second patterns having a concave polygonal shape. The stretchable film further includes a buffer region between the first region and the second region.
PACKAGING FILM FOR POWER STORAGE DEVICE, TUBE-TYPE PACKAGING MEMBER, AND POWER STORAGE DEVICE
A packaging film is formed by a laminated film including a plurality of layers, and is configured to be bent into a tube-shape to form a tube-type packaging member having flexibility. Further, the packaging film includes an innermost layer, an outermost layer, and a barrier layer arranged between innermost layer and the outermost layer, as the plurality of layers. The barrier layer is a metallic layer. The innermost layer and the outermost layer are each formed by a thermal fusion resin layer. An adhesive agent bonding overlapped adjacent layers of the plurality of layers has electrolyte resistance.
INTERLAYER FOR LAMINATED GLASS, AND LAMINATED GLASS
Provided is an interlayer film for laminated glass with which the penetration resistance of laminated glass can be heightened. An interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention includes one end and the other end on an opposite side of the one end, the other end has a thickness larger than a thickness of the one end, the interlayer film does not contain or contains alkali metal, the interlayer film does not contain or contains alkali earth metal, and the interlayer film contains magnesium. Further in the interlayer film for laminated glass, a content of magnesium in a surface portion of a first region on the one end side of the interlayer film after heated at 150 C. for 30 minutes, a total content of alkali metal, alkali earth metal and magnesium in the surface portion of the first region on the one end side of the heated interlayer film, a content of magnesium in a surface portion of a second region on the other end side of the heated interlayer film, and a total content of alkali metal, alkali earth metal and magnesium in the first or second region of the interlayer film after heat satisfy specific relationships.
HIGH-PRESSURE GAS STORAGE CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HIGH-PRESSURE GAS STORAGE CONTAINER
A high-pressure gas storage container includes a liner and a reinforcing layer. The liner houses a high-pressure gas. The reinforcing layer is formed by winding a plurality of strip-shaped reinforcing members around an outer perimeter surface of the liner. The reinforcing members are made of a plurality of reinforcing fibers that are impregnated with a resin. At least a portion of the reinforcing fibers is irradiated with plasma.
MULTI-LAYERED FLAME RETARDANT AND CHEMICAL RESISTANT COMPOSITES AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A multi-layered flame retardant and chemical resistant composite is described along with methods of making and/or using the same. The composite may be used in protective apparel and/or personal protective ensembles (PPE). The composite may be an engineered textile laminate. The composite may meet NFPA 2113 criteria as an over-garment for NFPA 2112 Flashover protection PPE garments. The composite may provide optimized protection to primary flashover rated PPE, where flames are present, and where chemical hazards are present.
FILMS HAVING SELECTIVELY WEAKENED PORTIONS
A non-fibrous film has a non-weakened portion and a weakened portion having at least one mechanical property having a value that is lower than the value of the mechanical property of the non-weakened portion. The film has an optical characteristic including a clarity of at least 75 percent.
Polarizer, polarizing plate, and method of producing polarizer
There is provided a polarizer excellent in heat resistance. A polarizer according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a resin film containing iodine, wherein an end portion of the resin film has formed therein a high-concentration portion having a concentration of a substance that forms a counter ion of iodine higher than that of another portion.
Method for manufacturing antireflection function-equipped lens
A dielectric multilayer film is formed on one surface of a lens main body, a film including aluminum is formed on the other surface of the lens main body, the film including aluminum is immersed in hot water without immersing the dielectric multilayer film in the hot water, thereby changing the film including aluminum to a fine uneven structure film including an alumina hydrate as a main component, whereby a lens provided with antireflection functions on both surfaces is manufactured.
COMPOSITE LAMINATED ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are composite laminated articles and methods for manufacturing the same. According to some embodiments, the composite laminated article includes a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber fabric layer, a PET nonwoven laminated board, and a PET film interposed between the PET fiber fabric layer and the PET nonwoven laminated board. In some embodiments, the composite laminated article further includes a low-density PET nonwoven fabric layer interposed between the PET film and the PET nonwoven laminated board. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the composite laminated article is free of any thermoset binder, and hence, the composite laminated article is one hundred percent recyclable.
