Propylene-Based Films with Improved Barrier Properties
The present invention provides a film including at least one layer that comprises a propylene polymer and a hydrocarbon resin. The films disclosed herein generally have improved barrier properties as compared to films free of the hydrocarbon resin.
VIBRATION ABSORPTION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ACOUSTIC INSULATION
A vibration absorption device for acoustic insulation for a building structure comprises an absorbent cushion and a vibration isolation cushion. The building structure is selected from a ceiling structure, a floor structure and a partitioning structure separating two adjacent building compartments or a building compartment and the external environment. The absorbent cushion comprises sound absorbing material and the vibration isolation cushion comprising vibration isolation material. The vibration isolation cushion overlies and is laminated to the absorbent cushion. The vibration isolation cushion is rigid relative to the absorbent cushion. The absorbent cushion is supple relative to the vibration isolation cushion. The vibration absorption device is mountable to the building structure, to isolate vibrations and to provide acoustic insulation between the two separated and adjacent building compartments.
ASSEMBLY FOR CREATING CUSTOM OBJECTS WITH ADHESIVE FROM PRINTABLE BLANK SHEETS
A printable blank sheet includes a sheet layer, a dry lift strip extending along a bottom of the sheet layer, an adhesive strip extending along the bottom of the sheet layer adjacent the dry lift strip, and cut lines in the printable blank sheet that define a periphery of an object in the printable blank sheet. The dry lift strip includes a pressure sensitive adhesive layer connected to the sheet layer, a film layer connected to the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a dry lift adhesive layer connected to the film layer, and a backing film layer connected to the dry lift adhesive layer. The adhesive strip includes an adhesive layer connected to the sheet layer and a cover layer connected to the adhesive layer.

Curable polysiloxane compositions and slippery materials and coatings and articles made therefrom
The present teachings generally provide curable polysiloxane compositions including a base resin including a MQ vinyl siloxane. Articles of manufacture including the curable polysiloxane compositions and slippery coatings and materials also are provided. The compositions may be used to provide slippery, lubricious, or repellent materials and coatings and may provide anti-fouling function. The compositions can provide anti-fouling or foul-release function on open surfaces, internal surfaces, membranes; to provide pinning free or low contact angle hysteresis surfaces; to provide homogeneous interface to suppress nucleation; to provide a barrier layer such as anti-corrosion; to provide anti-stain, anti-smudge, anti-fingerprint, anti-soil function.
Apparatus for protecting a surface
Disclosed is an apparatus for protecting a surface including a substrate configured to receive fluid and a layer disposed on the substrate configured to retain or pass fluid thereto and discourage fluid flow therefrom. The substrate has a leading edge with a recess that complements a portion of a tire footprint; defines a semicircle, defines a U-shape; or combinations thereof.
Sheet roofing with pre-taped seams and tape therefor
According to one aspect, a roof membrane is provided. The roofing membrane includes a main body, a first adhesive material, and a second adhesive material. The first adhesive material is bonded to a top surface of the main body and positioned toward a first edge thereof. The second adhesive material is bonded to the top surface of the main body and positioned toward a second edge thereof. The second edge is positioned opposite the first edge such that the first and second adhesive materials are positioned toward opposite edges of the main body and the same surface thereof.

Laminate and method for making the same
A laminate blank includes at least one rigidifying layer and at least one comfort layer. The rigidifying layer includes a reinforcement preform and a resin. The layers are pressed to form the laminate blank.
DECORATIVE FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND DECORATED MOLDED ARTICLE
A decorative film according to the present disclosure comprises a laminate comprising a hard coat layer and a base material layer. The hard coat layer consists of a cured product of a thermosetting coating material comprising an acrylic copolymer (A) having hydroxy groups and an isocyanate curing agent (B). The hard coat layer has a predetermined total light transmittance, diffuse transmittance and tensile strength. The acrylic copolymer (A) has a specific hydroxy value, acid value, glass transition temperature, Mw and Mw/Mn and is a copolymer having units derived from monomers having hydroxy group(s). The content percentage of a unit derived from a monomer having one hydroxy group in 100% by mol of the units derived from monomers having hydroxy group(s) and the content percentage of a primary hydroxy group in the acrylic copolymer (A) satisfy specific ranges.
