A jig device includes a coating coater configured to coat an outer surface of a workpiece supplied at a constant speed with a coating material; a cutter configured to cut the workpiece; and a taper configured to tape the outer surface of the workpiece.

Transversely extensible continuous elastic laminate, and a method for producing the same

A transversely extensible continuous elastic laminates includes a continuous elastic tape sandwiched between two continuous webs, and at least one row of tabs extending transversely outside the two webs, wherein the tabs are made of a non-woven material and have respective micro-hook pads integrally formed in the non-woven material forming the tabs and completely surrounded by a portion of a flat surface of the respective tabs.

DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A display apparatus includes: a flexible first layer including a bending area; an adhesive layer on an upper surface of the flexible first layer; and a second layer attached to the flexible first layer by the adhesive layer. A direction of internal stress at a first portion of the flexible first layer is different from a direction of internal stress at a second portion of the flexible first layer, when the flexible first layer is in a flat state.

INSULATION PRODUCT WITH INWARD CURLING CLOSURE FLAP
20170175945 · 2017-06-22 ·

A pipe insulation product including a core of insulating material and a laminate surrounding the core and bonded to the core. The core may include an outer surface; an inner surface; and a wall extending between the outer and inner surfaces. The laminate may include a foil or metallized polymeric film sheet, a scrim, a porous media sheet, and a polymeric film sheet bonded together via an adhesive. The laminate may include a closure flap that is configured to adhesively seal opposite ends of the laminate together to form a cylindrical tube with the core enclosed therein. The closure flap may be configured to include a curl that provides a greater closure flap adhesive seal.

Method and system for creating a non-woven fabric

A method to generate a non-woven fabric includes prearranging at least one thread guide arranged to guide at least one textile thread, prearranging moving means for actuating the thread guide according to at least one degree of freedom, prearranging at least one rigid support and handling each thread guide by the moving means for arranging at least one first portion of each textile thread along at least one first trajectory _1 on each rigid support. Each thread guide is handled by the moving means for arranging at least one second portion of each textile thread along at least one second trajectory _2 on each rigid support. Each second trajectory _2 overlaps with each first trajectory _1 at least at one intersection point P_i, joining each second portion of each textile thread with each first portion of each textile thread at each intersection point P_i.

Thread material cutting device

A thread material cutting device is provided which is used in an extraction bag sheet manufacturing apparatus. The thread material cutting device has tension application means such as a pressing plate configured to engage with the thread material placed between adjacent tags so as to apply tension to the thread material. While the welding means is press-heating the thread material onto the tags, the tension application means applies tension to the thread material so as to cut the thread material.

Citric acid-modified polyvinyl amine film

A composite barrier film has a base layer of polyester or polyolefin with a barrier layer modified polyvinyl amine (mPVA). The mPVA is polyvinyl alcohol/polyvinyl amine copolymer crosslinked with citric acid and an optional additional crosslinking agent such as epichlorohydrin. The barrier layer can be applied by deposition of a reactive aqueous solution onto the base layer, heating and drying to remove water and crosslink the reactants. Excellent barrier properties of the film are obtained by applying and crosslinking the barrier layer during the transverse stretching steps of a biaxial oriented polymer film continuous fabrication process. Superior barrier properties are achieved with transverse stretching by a factor of about 3-4 for polyester and 4-10 for polyolefin.

METHOD OF MAKING A PRINTED ELASTIC LAMINATE
20170100925 · 2017-04-13 ·

A method of making a printed, elastic laminate has the steps of transversely stretching and then relaxing a longitudinally elongated elastic film then printing a motif on the film. The printed elastic film is cut into longitudinally extending strips that are then bonded transversely next to each other between two surface webs through at least one of which the motif is visible to form a laminate. The laminate is then transversely stretched at least at the strips.
