POLYPROPYLENE FILM USED IN A COOKING BAG
20230383113 · 2023-11-30 ·

A polypropylene film used in a cooking bag is provided. The polypropylene film used in the cooking bag is co-extruded to form a three-layered structure, and includes two outer layers and a middle layer arranged therebetween. Each of the outer layers includes a propylene random copolymer, and the propylene random copolymer is formed by aggregation of a propylene monomer and an ethylene monomer. The middle layer includes a propylene block polymer and an ethylene elastomer. The propylene block polymer includes a propylene monomer and an ethylene-propylene polymer, and the ethylene-propylene polymer is dispersed in the propylene monomer to form a sea-island structure. After the polypropylene film used in the cooking bag is placed in an environment having a temperature of 135° C. for 30 minutes, a haze of the polypropylene film used in the cooking bag is less than or equal to 10%.

MULTILAYER FILM WITH IMPROVED PROPERTIES

The present invention relates to a multilayer blown film comprising at least one skin layer (A) comprising a Ziegler Natta catalyzed heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO) and one inner layer (B) comprising a metallocene catalyzed propylene based random copolymer (PRC), and optionally one core layer (C) comprising either a Ziegler Natta catalyzed heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO) or a metallocene catalyzed propylene based random copolymer (PRC).

THERMOPLASTIC BAGS WITH COMPLEX STRETCH PATTERNS

A thermoplastic film which exhibits elastic-like behavior along at least one axis when stretched or elongated and then released. The thermoplastic film comprises a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the thermoplastic film. The thermoplastic film further includes a plurality of web areas positioned about the plurality of raised rib-like elements. The plurality of raised rib-like elements and plurality of web areas are arranged in a complex pattern. The complex pattern provides visual and tactile cues as the films are stretched or elongated. The complex pattern can cause the thermoplastic film to have a complex stretch profile.

Recyclable laminated polyolefin-based film structures

A recyclable, laminated polyolefin-based film structure comprises two or more film plies laminated to each other. Each of the laminated film plies comprises one or more polyolefin-based films. The film structure has an energy-cured coating layer disposed on the outermost outward facing surface of the film structure and a printed ink layer on an interior surface of one of the polyolefin-based polyolefin layers. In certain embodiments, the outermost surface of the laminated polyolefin-based film structure has a melting temperature which is at least 100 degrees Celsius, and more preferably 180 degrees Celsius, higher than a melting temperature of the innermost surface of the laminated polyolefin-based film structure.

Waterborne adhesives for reduced basis weight multilayer substrates and use thereof

The adhesive composition comprising emulsion polymers and microspheres and articles made therefrom are provided. The adhesive is particularly suitable for packages for consumer products that provide sufficient strength and thermal insulation while reducing the overall basis weight of the substrates.

BIODEGRADABLE MULTI-LAYER FILM

A multi-layer polymer film comprising at least one middle layer A, the polymeric constituents of which are soluble in aqueous solution, and at least one substantially water-impermeable covering layer B or C arranged above and/or below the at least one middle layer A, wherein the layers A, B and C independently of each other in each case comprise at least one thermoplastic polymer and at least one of the covering layers B and C comprises at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate. Processes for the production of the multi-layer polymer film according to the invention and its use for the production of molded parts, films or bags are furthermore presented and described.

20220282037 · 2022-09-08 ·

A high-barrier biodegradable Doypack and a preparation method therefor. The Doypack consists of two parts, a high-barrier biodegradable self-sealing strip and a five-layered composite high-barrier biodegradable Doypack body. The main base materials of the high-barrier biodegradable self-sealing strip are PLGA and PPC that have excellent barrier performance; and the five-layered composite high-barrier biodegradable Doypack body consists of single side glossy white Kraft paper, a bonding layer, a first barrier layer, a second barrier layer, and a heat-sealing layer, which are integrally formed by using a process combining four-layer co-extrusion and lamination. Compared to conventional non-degradable Doypacks, the high-barrier biodegradable Doypack is substantially equivalent in terms of the physical and mechanical performance and heat-sealing performance, but has a superior barrier performance, and is biodegradable.
