Biodegradable polymer microsphere compositions for parenteral administration
Novel microsphere compositions for use in parenteral formulations are provided. The microspheres comprise a biodegradable polymer of a molecular weight greater than 10,000 daltons, an active therapeutic agent, and a cellulose-derived material such as ethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, or sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. The microsphere compositions decreased deviation in mean microsphere diameter, improved drug entrapment, and improved microsphere stability.

Composition or combination comprising anionic dietary supplement and 25-hydroxy vitamin D
Embodiments of a composition and/or combination comprising an anionic dietary supplement and 25-hydroxy vitamin D are disclosed. The anionic dietary supplement may be a negative dietary cation anion difference (DCAD) supplement and/or may comprise magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, and calcium sulfate, and/or complexes thereof. Also disclosed are embodiments of a method for administrating the combination and/or composition to an animal, such as a ruminant. In certain embodiments, the animal is a dairy cow, and the method may be a method for increasing milk yield, and/or improving the health of the animal.

Embodiments of a composition and/or combination comprising an anionic dietary supplement and 25-hydroxy vitamin D are disclosed. Vitamin supplement compositions with enhanced bioavailability
A vitamin supplement composition that includes a complex with enhanced bioavailability having a vitamin B complex, wherein the vitamin B complex includes: (a) a first vitamin, wherein the first vitamin comprises a form of vitamin B.sub.6; (b) a second vitamin, wherein the second vitamin comprises a form of vitamin B.sub.9; (c) a third vitamin, wherein the third vitamin comprises a form of vitamin B.sub.12; and (d) wherein the first vitamin, the second vitamin, and the third vitamin cooperate synergistically to enhance bioavailability of the same. The present invention further includes a method of administering a vitamin supplement composition to an individual having, for example, MTHFR deficiency.

25-HYDROXYVITAMIN D2 AND/OR D3 FOR USE IN OBESITY
The present invention relates to the field of vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency, viz. too low blood levels of 25(OH)D, and to their prevention and treatment. It provides a vitamin D supplement which comprises (i) a combination of 25(OH)D3 and/or 25(OH)D2 and vitamin D2; or (ii) a combination of 25(OH)D3 and/or 25(OH)D2 and vitamin D3; or (iii) a combination of 25(OH)D3 and/or 25(OH)D2 and a combination of vitamin D2 and vitamin D3, for use in the treatment of and/or prophylaxis of vitamin D insufficiency or deficiency in obese persons, overweight persons having the tendency to get obese or persons having a history of malabsorption of vitamin D or persons with a genetic disposition to develop obesity. Also provided are corresponding compositions and dosage regimens comprising such vitamin D supplements as well as kits comprising such compositions. Furthermore, corresponding dosage regimens for daily administration and corresponding product package inserts are also provided. The invention also relates to corresponding methods of treatment.
