RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a medium mounting section on which a medium is to be mounted, a reverse-feeding path for reversing the medium that has been fed from the medium mounting section, a recording unit configured to perform recording onto the medium that has been reversed by the reverse-feeding path, and a reverse-discharging path for reversing the medium on which recording has been performed by the recording unit and for discharge the medium to a discharge section configured to discharge the medium, in which when viewed in a medium width direction intersecting a medium transport direction, a path section for reversing the medium in the reverse-feeding path and a path section for reversing the medium in the reverse-discharging path have portions overlapping each other in the vertical direction.
Printing apparatus and control method
A printing apparatus includes a feeding unit, a pair of rollers, a printing unit, and a control unit. The control unit can execute skew correction. The control unit can execute control to convey a preceding printing medium and a succeeding printing medium by the pair of rollers in a state in which a trailing edge portion of the preceding printing medium and a leading edge portion of the succeeding printing medium overlap. The control unit sets an execution timing of the skew correction for the succeeding printing medium based on positions of the preceding printing medium and the succeeding printing medium if a predetermined condition is met. The predetermined condition is that the preceding printing medium reaches a position at which a remaining print range for the preceding printing medium equals a predetermined print range.
INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS FOR RECORDING IMAGES BY EJECTING INK ON RECORDING MEDIA
Provided is an inkjet recording apparatus that reduces clogging of nozzles, while at the same time avoid a decrease in productivity of the recording medium, and reduces situations in which the recording medium becomes stained due to the staining of opening portions and splashing due to ink ejected during flushing. A conveyor belt of the inkjet recording apparatus has a plurality of opening portion groups. The control unit determines the pattern of the plurality of opening portion groups used for flushing in one cycle of the conveyor belt according to the size of the recording medium. The control unit causes the recording medium to be supplied from the recording medium supply unit between the plurality of opening groups arranged in the conveying direction in the above pattern on the conveying belt and at positions separated from the opening portion groups by a specific distance or more.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a sheet feeding device including a sheet feed tray on which a medium is mounted in an inclined orientation, a feeding roller configured to feed the medium, and a sheet feed slot that is defined by the sheet feed tray and the feeding roller i, and a recording section configured to perform recording onto the medium fed from the sheet feeding device. The recording apparatus includes a scanner unit that is disposed on a body of the recording apparatus and functions as a reading device for reading a document, and a guiding member that is inclined from a side surface of a guiding member installation section that is a side surface of the scanner unit on a sheet feed tray side in a state in which the scanner unit is closed with respect to the body of the recording apparatus.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus including a recording head that performs recording, a feed roller that feeds out a set medium, a transport driving roller that transports the medium, which is fed out by the feed roller, towards an opposing position that opposes the recording head, and an auxiliary roller provided between the feed roller and the transport driving roller, the auxiliary roller assisting transportation of the medium. When the apparatus is seen from a side of the apparatus, the auxiliary roller overlaps the feed roller in a height direction of the apparatus.
STEPPER MOTOR-BASED PRINT ADJUSTMENTS
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a printing system is described. The printing system includes a media sensor to detect a presence of media at a particular point within the printing system. A stepper motor moves media through the printing system. A controller 1) monitors, for at least one pass of the media, a number of steps of the stepper motor to pass the media between the media sensor and a print position, 2) stores the number of steps of the stepper motor in a memory device, and 3) adjusts operation of subsequent passes of the media based on stored number of steps. A memory device of the printing system stores the number of steps of the stepper motor, for at least one pass of the media.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a recording head that performs recording; a feeding roller that feeds out a medium that has been set, a transport roller that transports the medium fed out by the feeding roller toward a facing position facing the recording head; an auxiliary roller that is provided between the feeding roller and the transport roller and that assists in the transport of the medium; a motor that generates a driving force; and a drive train that is configured to transmit the driving force of the motor to the auxiliary roller and the transport roller.
IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS HAVING ELECTROMAGNETIC CLUTCH FOR TRANSMITTING DRIVE FORCE OF MOTOR TO CONVEYING ROLLER
In an image-forming apparatus, when a sheet length of a first sheet is shorter than or equal to a predetermined length, a controller supplies power to an electromagnetic clutch to convey the first sheet and a second sheet so that a sheet gap of the second sheet is equivalent to a first gap. When the sheet length of the first sheet is longer than the predetermined length, the controller supplies power to the electromagnetic clutch to successively convey a first number of sheets so that the sheet gap of each of the first number of sheets is equivalent to the first gap. After the first number of sheets has been conveyed, the controller supplies power to the electromagnetic clutch to convey at least one sheet so that the sheet gap of each of the at least one sheet is equivalent to a second gap greater than the first gap.
Liquid discharge device and method of controlling liquid discharge device
A liquid discharge device includes a discharge head configured to discharge a liquid on a medium conveyed, a carriage on which the liquid discharge head and a liquid cartridge are mounted configured to move in an X-axis direction, a cap disposed outside a conveying area in the X-axis direction, and configured to have contact with a nozzle surface of the discharge head on which a nozzle opens, and a control section configured to control moving of the carriage. When one of the replacement of the liquid cartridge and refill of the liquid container is performed, the control section locates the carriage at the first position where the nozzle surface is opposed to the area between the conveying area and the cap in the X-axis direction.
